I almost didn’t finish this book. In the first chapter, there are three citations all for Wikipedia. There are quotation marks that don’t end so you have no idea what is actually a direct quote and what isn’t. There is no references in the back of the book, and after the first chapter, there are no more citations. Comparing the information I read in this book to similar books the information does seem accurate but nothing is cited so there’s no information on where this author is getting this which is concerning. The very first page there is also a disclaimer about how everything in the book may not be accurate and he is not responsible for any issues with the book. There is also a big legal disclaimer. Why would the first page of your book the issues that the book contains? Definitely much better World War II books out there on medical experiments that took place with the proper citations so that you can get more information. Another thing that really irritated me about this book was the author used quotations as apostrophes and commas. I am only giving this book 2 stars because it is a quick read and most of the information can easily be verified in other books as well as reliable websites.
I’m not quite sure what this book added to the conversation. I’ve read through a lot of compilation books. I’m glad the author got straight to the point while adding details without the fluff.
