She’s 27 and just hit rock bottom…

Emma Miller’s fiancé left her days before her meal delivery business went bust. Now she’s broke, homeless and starting out all over again, weighed down with debt that isn’t even hers. So when she learns she and her estranged sister, Ashley, have received an unexpected inheritance, she’s thrilled. Now they can both move to Seahaven, California and run Brightview, her grandmother’s rambling beachside bed & breakfast. She’ll do the cooking. Ashley can tend the Cliff Garden, the attached acre of winding paths and flower beds that has been in their family for generations. With her money and family woes solved, who knows—maybe someday Emma will find love again, too.

He’s 33 and just hit it out of the park…

Noah Hudson’s life couldn’t be better. He’s sold his successful business and can finally right the wrong he did years ago to his older brother’s career. Andrew deserves his turn in the limelight, so Noah just bought one of the last undeveloped oceanfront lots in Seahaven. He’ll give Andrew an unlimited budget to design and build a luxury vacation home that will land on the cover of every architectural magazine. While he’s waiting for his new digs, Noah has found a handy living situation in the bed & breakfast next door. While Andrew pursues his dream, he can spend his days on his own passions: extreme sports photography.

Emma is furious when she finds out Ashley sold their grandmother’s garden to the newly minted millionaire renting one of her guest rooms—a very handsome millionaire who seems to have nothing better to do but surf, snap a few photos, and play havoc with her heart.

Noah just realized what he left off his to-do list: find the woman of his dreams. Turns out she’s his current landlady and about to be his next-door neighbor—if she doesn’t kill him for destroying her grandmother’s legacy first.

Can Emma and Noah find a way to heal the past without ruining their future together?

I love Cora Seton and her Cowboy reads but fell for Noah and Emma in Beach House Romance. Cora delivered sweet characters and an overall interesting storyline in this romance.

Noah and Emma started as friends. There friendship was so easy in the beginning. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough! This was short lived when these two became enemies. Both vying for the same plot of land. These two tackled like adults and mended their fences pretty easily. I mean who can stay mad at Noah! He was a total sweetheart.

Like a few of her other books, Cora adds a little supernatural element. It’s a sweet reminder that your loved ones my be gone but they are still watching over us. I shed a tear or two when the chimes blew in Emma’s garden.

The only thing I struggled with was the ending of this book. It raced a little to quickly for me. We get a glimpse of the next novel and the characters involved and I can’t wait to see what Cora has instore for us.

Two sisters, who have to get through losing their parents, break-ups, financial distress, careers and find the love and happiness they’ve both put off trying for.

Suddenly, they receive mail informing them that they own their grandmother’s B N B Beach house and cliffside garden just 6 months after their father dies. Emma immediately decides there’s no way she’s selling the B N B her grandmother left her.

It’s so much fun, you just want to jump in and be at the beach, the cliffside garden, give Winston a hug and watch the romance take off. Such a delight to read about new chapters about getting through painful mistakes and learning to give to others to find purpose and how life can change when you let go and let it be..

It's been a rainy day all day today so I've been on a roll with my reading.

And I have to say I have mixed feelings about this one.

On the one hand, I fell in love with the B&B and the atmosphere, the Trouble Bench, the Cliffside Sisters (in fact, I'm actually really looking forward to Ava's book!), and the spirit of community and help from the different people that interact throughout the story.

Emma and Noah, as separate entities, were absolutely fine and I had no trouble with them.

I had trouble as soon as they came together and couldn't string a good conversation to air out their grievances, however.

This seems to be a fairly popular topic in romance novels, I've found - the heroine will learn something about the hero that isn't necessarily true, but for some reason, instead of going to the hero and saying, hey, guess what, I heard this and this and this person says this and this, now I don't want to believe it but just set me straight will you? The heroine will for some reason unknown to me almost always believe a person she's only just met or has known for a grand total of thirty seconds instead of the hero who she has been getting to know the whole book and generally has a good grasp of his character by that point, and he has never shown ANY signs of anything that this other person is accusing him of.

Also, just give the guy the benefit of a doubt will you? Like yeesh, would it KILL Emma to talk to Noah before she just kicks him out for no good reason, and it actually all gets cleared up the next day, making it even MORE ridiculous?

I'm more upset that Noah just took it lying down, to be honest, but that's just me. If I see a problem, I'm going to want to solve it by talking to the other person it involves, not just make a decision for the both of us.

I find that sorely lacking in romance books today and why I often have problems with them, because the OVERALL feel of this one was definitely cozy and lovely, and as I've said, I'll be having a look at the second in the trilogy once it releases.

But, honestly: COMMUNICATION. Can we all just COMMUNICATE? Geez!

Beach House Romance is the story of Emma and Noah. It’s a sweet contemporary romance. There are conflicts between Emma and Noah, but there is fast communication between the two main characters.
On the way to their HEA, Noah and Emma must do a bit of cleaning and clearing up their pasts, including taking responsibility for their parts and healing other relationships to move on together to the next phase of their lives.
The series has good potential, and I see myself continuing with the series in the future.

Emma and Noah - a sweet story

This is the first book in the new Beach House trilogy. It’s the story of Emma and Noah. It’s a sweet contemporary romance. Emma comes to Seahaven having inherited her grandmother’s B&B and the adjacent community garden, Cliff Garden. She’s recently lost her business, home, and fiancée so it’s an unexpected but welcome turn of fortune. Noah has just sold his tech firm for millions and plans to surf and explore his passion for sports photography. He just needs a lot on which to build his dream house which will be designed by his architect brother, Andrew. He believes he’s hit the jackpot when he purchases the lot that houses Cliff Garden. Emma is unaware her sister, Ashley, sold Cliff Garden until Noah arrives to live at the B&B for six months while his house is being designed and built next door. The issue of the garden and its potential destruction is what causes all the drama in this story - for all four siblings. Despite the garden drama, the book was fairly low angst with character growth. The story is full of big emotions for the characters and lots of push and pull between the H and h but not any true animosity. On the way to their HEA, Noah and Emma have to do a bit of cleaning and clearing up of their pasts including taking responsibility for their parts and healing of other relationships in order to move on together to the next phase of both of their lives. I was disappointed that I did not connect as strongly with these characters as I have to characters in other books by this author. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the story and am looking forward to seeing what happens next for the other characters introduced in this book.

Beach House Romance by Cora Seton is the beginning of a new series for Seton and a departure from Chance Creek, which all her fans will mourn. Emma Miller and her sister, Ashley, had had a challenging life, but the letter changed all that. A decade after she had died, she received a letter from her grandmother's friend, stating bluntly, that she and Ashley had inherited their grandmother's bed and breakfast, Brightview, and gardens, Cliff Garden. She was beyond ecstatic. This would erase all the bad things. She could go back to the only place she's ever been really happy. She and Ashley, together. Until she discovered that Ashley wanted to sell, obtain the security she's always craved. No. She'd go to Seahaven and see. Maybe she could convince Ashley. Nana Angel's friend, Colette, had been running Brightview since their grandmother had passed and it was slightly shabby when Emma arrived, but clean and manageable. The phone rang; Noah Hudson was on the other end, wanting to rent a room for six months. Flustered, she said, "Sure." Colette had a binder full of the information she would need. She could do this.

Seton has a way of placing the reader right into the story, seeing through the eyes of her protagonist. In this case, it was the beach, and the garden, and the bedroom that was exactly as it had been when she had last been in it at eight years old. There were problems to solve, but she would show Ashley; she would do it. Things happened fast. She and Ashley were clearly not on the same page and the read can feel the rage, and the stress, reaching back years. Their mother had died, and their father had never loved them. They both carried, albeit in different ways. They both carried the traditions learned in that far-away summer. Their grandmother had loved them, and taught them. This is a lovely novel, full of emotion and angst; full of love and longing for things that may never be. Yes, it's a romance, but it is so much more. It is siblings coming to grips with their pasts, proving that things can work out eventually. Likable, but flawed characters, make this novel a terrific read. One the reader will read again. Thank you, Cora Seton!

I was invited to read a free e-ARC of Beach House Romance by the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Beach House Romance: Beach House Trilogy Book 1 is by Cora Seton. Cora Seton has once again started a wonderful series. This is much more lighthearted than her other series and makes fantastic summer reading.
Emma Miller was not very happy to see a brown envelope in her mail. It would just be more bad news. She had just lost her business and fiancé at the same time. Now she was packing to leave her apartment and had no idea where she was going. That was the story of her life. She and her sister had raised themselves while living with their father. The only time he gave them attention was ten years ago when their Grandmother Angela (Mother’s Mother) had died. He expected a large inheritance only to be disappointed when the girls got dolls which belonged to their Mother. He was angry and threw them in the trash. Luckily, Emma got them out and hid them. Reluctantly, she opened the envelope to find a letter from Colette Rainer, a friend of their Nana Angela’s, telling them that Angela had left them something and they needed to come to Seahaven to get it. Something after ten years? Since she had nothing else to do, she would go. She hoped Ashley would come and they could decide together what to do.
Upon arriving, she finds Nana Angela had left the girls her B&B Bridgeview and Cliff Garden. She fell in love with it again. She wanted to keep the B&B which was left to her and wanted Ashley to keep Cliff Garden. She finds out that Ashley has sold Cliff Garden. What can she do now?
Noah Hudson had gone to work for his friend Max Markwell. Their small company had bloomed and now Max told him they had sold it for millions. Noah was happy because now he could go back to what he wanted to do. First, he would have his brother design a house overlooking a view. Noah would give him free reign to design the house he wanted, with only minimum input from Noah. He felt he owed his brother that. Then he would do whatever he wanted; but not in an office. Surfing and photography sounded good to him. He finally finds a beachfront property for sale and buys it. Then he finds out it belongs to Emma and is Cliff Garden. What is he to do? He owes his brother but loves Emma!

Emma Miller has hit bottom but is working her way up again. Her business closed, her belongings sold to pay bills, she's working two jobs to save enough for a new place. Then another large envelope arrives, one she really hoped didn't contain more debts to be paid.

Instead the envelope holds an inheritance, the bed and breakfast and gardens her grandmother owned had been held in trust for her and her sister Ashley. Although she was confused as to why it wasn't revealed at the time of her grandmother's death. She found herself wondering if her grandmother knew about her father's gambling habit and overjoyed to now have not only a place to live but also a thriving business to run. She meets her neighbors, also women who have inherited their properties and businesses, Ava and Penelope. They quickly become friends meeting regularly.

Noah Hudson is preparing to leave the office when Mark Maxwell, his best friend and partner in Maxwell Tech comes into his office. Mark has big news, the moment they've been waiting for, an offer on their business to big to ignore. Not that they wanted to, Noah agreed to work with Mark until this moment, then he was going to buy beachfront property and let Andrew, his architect brother, build a showplace home. He knew exactly where he wanted the property, Seahaven beach on Cliffside Street.

When a property came up that Noah wanted he didn't hesitate and then made a reservation for six months at Brightview the bed and breakfast near his new property. When he made the reservation he didn't have a dog, now he did as a favor to his neighbor who needed care where he couldn't have his pet. I really loved the interaction when Emma greets her new guest and his surprise pet.

There's an almost instant attraction between Noah and Emma one that shows much promise. That is until she finds out where his property is. Emma is devastated to realize her sister had sold the gardens next to the bed and breakfast. They were far more than just gardens to the the town.

So much has to be overcome, the plans Andrew has for the house, her sister's betrayal and then there is the love that has blossomed between her and Noah.

Laughter, Tears, Romance, Conflict and some Sizzle in this page turning read.

Beach House Romance is the first book in the Seahaven trilogy by Cora Seton. Emma Miller is 27 and at rock bottom. She’s broke, homeless, and trying to start over with a mountain of debt. Until one day, she learns that she and her estranged sister have inherited their grandmother’s beachside bed and breakfast, Brightview, and the Cliff Garden, she is thrilled. She will cook and run the B&B and Ashley can tend the garden. She finally sees a light at the end of the tunnel. Until he comes to Seahaven. Noah Hudson is 33 and a newly minted millionaire. He recently sold his shares in a successful business and can finally focus on his passions. His older brother, Andrew, is an architect and Noah will give him an unlimited budget to build a luxurious home on one of the last undeveloped oceanfront properties. There’s one snag. The property he just purchased is next to Brightview. Emma is furious to learn that her sister sold the Cliff Garden but can’t deny her attraction to Noah, an attraction that Noah replicates. Can they find a way to heal the past, build their dreams and maybe a future together?
Beach House Romance is the first book I have read by Cora Seton, a name I recognize from various sites. I love beach reads. I love romance. So I was excited by this book. The story started off well and I was intrigued by Emma and Noah, their various life situations and troubling pasts. However, that intrigue quickly faded into frustrations as the chapters were long with changes back and forth in perspectives from Emma to Noah and back. This constant changing back and forth made the chapters way too long and bogged down. The story was fairly predictable, as most romances are, however, it was boring getting them. There were also way too many secondary chapters. I understand the author was trying to establish the community of characters but it got confusing. Even the romance was a bit bland for a romance novel. Overall, I was disappointed and I will not be continuing this trilogy. I am also reluctant to pick another Cora Seton book in the future. If you are a fan of Cora Seton, you may enjoy Beach House Romance. However, I did not enjoy it and do not recommend Beach House Romance.

I love Cora Seton and her books and this is definitely a departure from her other series, but equally as enjoyable!

Emma and Ashley have not had an easy life. Their mom died when they were young. Their father checked out mentally when she died and they were left to take care of each other. Their grandmother that they loved had also seemed to abandon them. Until about 10 years after her passing, they get a note that she left her beach house and garden to them.

Emma, who had just lost her business and her fiance, couldn't be more excited to take over the place. However, Ashley, who was more practical couldn't wait to sell it and pay off her debts and then buy into her firm's partnership. But all is not as it seems and when Emma goes to the house, she realizes that she wants to reopen it as the B&B it once was. Ashley, however, sold the garden. It isn't until both of them are there, that they both realize (especially Ashley) how important the house and the garden are.

Of course, Ashley sold the garden Noah, a recently made millionaire. He's been looking to by a piece of land in this area and was excited when one came available. When he meets Emma (as he stays are her B&B), he's completely smitten. However, he has his own issues to overcome with his brother Andrew who is creating the best house for Noah.

This book takes you on a wonderful journey watching Emma and Ashley find themselves and heal from their past. It's a delightful read and I can't wait to read the others in this trilogy.

Noah will be living at Brightview while his architect brother, Andrew. designs and builds Noah's new home. When Noah meets Emma he finds a whole new passion. The brothers also have a difficult history. And the combination of the sisters and brothers past, and how it affects their present and, perhaps, their future is the crux of this story. After moving out of her fiancé’s apartment three months ago, Emma Miller shuts down her meal-kit delivery business—Food to You Fast🚚—then she sells her possessions on the local online buy-and-sell page.

She’s now sleeping at a friend’s living room, working two jobs—Millie’s Diner and Beachside Grill—and scraping together the deposit for a new apartment.

One day she receives a letter from a man named Colette Rainer, a close friend—and executor of her grandmother’s estate—informing her that’s her grandmother, Angela Nelson has left her a bequest.

Her grandmother left her and her sister Ashley Brightview, the bed-and-breakfast and Cliff Garden. As such she’s supposed to go to Seaheaven in California to claim it.

Noah Hudson cofounder of Maxwell Tech, after selling his company decides to move to Seaheaven. He rents a room in Brightview for six months where he’d be staying with his neighbor’s dog Winston so he’d focus on his real passions —surfing and sports photography 🏄‍♀️

He’d also purchased a beachfront property on the beach 🏖 which he wants his brother Andrew, an architect to design.
When Emma learns her sister Ashley actually sold the Cliff Garden lot to Noah she’s distraught. Her sister sold the lot because she needs the cash to buy into a partnership at her firm.

Emma tries to dissuade Noah from building a house on the garden. Now all she has to do is come up with cash to make Noah an offer

What a fun, entertaining and heartwarming new series. I'm so excited for future books with the other characters.

Losing their mother young and with a father that fell apart afterwards, sisters Emma and Ashley Miller learned quickly how to take care of themselves. With no positive example, Emma has made choices that lead to the loss of her fiance and her business, and now she's saddled with a mountain of debt. Then a shocking surprise finds her inheriting her grandmother's bed and breakfast. But just when Emma feels her life is finally on track she finds out her sister's unexpected choice has left both girls devistated, and the man she's falling for is right in the middle of it.

Noah Hudson's business choices have recently left him a very wealthy man so he's moved back to his favorite small California coastal town to surf and take up his hobby of photography. Staying at a local bed and breakfast while his new home is built has the pleasant surprise of falling for the owner Emma. But when she finds out where his new home is being built their future is suddenly on the line.

With lots of exciting surprises, and entertaining, interwoven characters this series promises to give us more entertaining books in the future.

Beach House Romance is a great start to this new series that takes place beachside which is always a good place to begin! Emma and Ashley Miller have had a tough life after their mother dies and their father checks out. Thinking their grandmother didn’t care about them, they were surprised after inheriting an Inn and a special garden from her. Emma decides to make a go of the Inn and Ashley sells the garden, which causes all kinds of trouble for a lot of people.

After becoming a millionaire Noah Hudson decides its time to finally do what he has always wanted to do, surf and pursue sports photography. He plans to stay at Emma’s Inn for six months and do just exactly what he wants. He gets a little more than he bargained for when meeting Emma causes his world to shift.

I loved this story and couldn’t put this book down. The plot is so strong, interesting, and well written with many surprises. The characters are likeable and you feel connected right away. The secondary friends and extended characters add so much to the story you can’t help liking them all. This is such a lovely read with all the feel goods, a few nail-biting moments, and laugh out loud moments with a few tears throw in. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and cannot wait for the next one in this series.

Getting an inheritance seemed lie a life saver to Emma and Ashley. Both were drowning in debt and both were handling it differently. Suddenly they each seemed to have a way out, but each of them saw that path differently. Emma sees it as a second chance to have her own business, Ashley sees it as a way to pay off debt and move on with her life. As they sort out the inheritance issues, they learn more about the past and the family dynamics that led them to where they are now. Things are not exactly what they thought. Noah appears to be at the top of his game. His partner ad him just sold his company and he wants to build this fantastic house in Seahaven. He calls this bed and breakfast he saw the number for years ago and asks for a room for six months. But the past is calling to Noah too. Does everyone's past overtake their present or does it work out in the end? I was given an advanced copy for my honest review. This book definitely needs to be on everyone's summer reading list. The people are real and the situations are relatable- the good and the bad. This book kept me reading late into the night. I can't wait for more.

There is absolutely nothing about this book that I did not love! Ms Seton continues to capture her readers with fresh new characters in a brand new setting. And what a setting it is! With her vivid descriptions, it was so easy to picture this coastal property, including the "Trouble Bench" and the vast gardens that surround it!
The cast of characters is extensive, with a wide variety of personalities, who harbor hidden hurts, secrets, pain and love.
I absolutely fell in love with Emma and Noah! They were destined to find each other, but the obstacles they face are steep in places. With so many past hurts, will they manage to make it?
Of course, in typical Cora Seton fashion, there were many doors left cracked open to allow for numerous stories to follow in the future. I only hope it's sooner rather than later. She has, once again, captivated me with her tale, enamored me with her characters, and definitely enticed me to return to the beautiful Seahaven area. I look forward to reading Ava's story next.
I was gifted a copy of this book and am voluntarily giving my honest opinion.

I have loved the Chance Creek series and wasn't sure about moving away from there, however, after reading "Beach House Romance" I'm glad that Cora took the chance with something new. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The Chance Creek series always had fun ways that the characters got together drawn around a theme like fulfilling a will, interfering fathers, or a TV show. This new series was a more natural flow of falling in love. I loved the conflict for the characters and the way that Cora introduced so many new people, but didn't make it difficult to keep track of them all. It made me excited for the next book by getting just enough of the story that you wanted to see what happened with them. I laughed and cried and could not put this book down. This book has all of Cora's wonderful charm in a new fun direction. If you are a Cora fan be sure to give it a shot. If you are new this book will draw you in. Well done Cora. I can't wait for the next one.

I received an advanced reader's copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

When you lose everything the only way to go is up. This is true for Emma. What she never expected was to inherit a B & B from her late estranged grandmother. Whilst she sees this as a chance to start anew, her sister Ashley disagrees. Before Emma knows it, Ashley has sold her portion of their grandmothers land. Even worse, the buyer is Noah. Not only is he her new temporary lodger, he also wants to build a house on his land. What he didn’t know when he bought it is how special the land is and how much it meant not only to Emma but all the other residents of Seahaven. As he and Emma grow closer, will his plans for his land prove fatal for their relationship? Even though this story is filled with family angst, secrets, regrets and recriminations, it also made me feel like I was part of something special. There’s something almost magical and definitely soothing around Emma and the B & B. It makes me want to move to Seahaven. An enchanting, heart warming start to a brand new series.

A great summer beach read

Emma is struggling with losing her business and her boyfriend at the same time. Then she is told that she inherited a Bed and Breakfast from her late grandma. She is happy to move in and get started with something new. She is even happier to find out that she is booked for a week with a group of women, and with one guy booking for 6 months! Then she finds out that the guy here for 6 months has just bought the gardens next door from her sister. He plans to let his older brother build an award-winning house on it! What can she do when he seems so nice and interested in her? What can he do when he owes his brother big time?

The pace is engrossing and the tone is uncertain yet hopeful with a character oriented storyline that has some suggestions of steam but no major details. The characters are vibrant and engaging. I am anxious to read the next one. The secondary characters are as well developed as the primary ones.

This story was sweet and adorable with a full cast of fun characters I can't wait to read more about in the next book in this series! Noah and Emma were adorable together and we're the perfect match for each other. This book had just the right amount of angst and there was a lot of back and forth between Noah and Emma in a will they or won't they manner. Noah was steadfast in his pursuit of Emma and belief that they would end up together. There were a few significant mysteries to uncover in this book and a few that are still left to be uncovered and I hope we get to read more about those mysteries in the upcoming books.

I did feel like the majority of the conflict could have been pretty easily overcome if everyone was willing to communicate transparently with each other. In the end the conflict was resolved and Emma and Noah got their HEA!

It’s a combination of nerve-wracking and exciting to start a new series by one of your favorite authors, and it was with a sense of trepidation that I opened this one. If you’re considering reading this book, go with “exciting” because, while it’s a new set of characters and a very new setting, it’s still Cora Seton, and it’s a great read. Ms. Seton specializes in characters that aren’t perfect, and the sibling anger between Emma and Ashley, and Noah’s own past are used in an illustration of forgiveness and love. It’s a new beginning for the readers as much as the characters, and it’s difficult to say too much without spoiling it, so… Just remember that this is a gentle work; it’s not a fast-paced story. It’s perfect for warmer weather and the beach and dreaming of your own Beach House Romance.

I must admit I was a bit worried about leaving Chance Creek after having read so many of Cora Seton's books set in her fictional town. However, I can't wait to read more of this new series set in Seahaven! Similarly to her other books, Cora has created a cast of characters that you just feel like you know and therefore you are actively rooting for them to get their HEA. Emma and her sister Ashley had a difficult childhood after their mother died. And those childhoods have definitely influenced all of their decisions as adults. So when Emma finds out she has inherited a B&B from her grandmother, she jumps at the chance to start over. But Ashley has other ideas for her inheritance which just might interfere with Emma's growing attraction to Noah.
This was a great start to what could be a long running, successful series.

This is my first Cora Seton novel, so I'm not mourning her cowboys like so many appear to be. I love books that are set along the coast and I love beach houses, so this was right up my alley. It is the story of two sisters, Emma and Angela, who have had a really tough upbringing and have drifted apart over the years. When they discover that they have an inheritance from their maternal grandmother, it seems as if all their problems could be solved--or it could just be the beginning of more.

Emma has decided to run her grandmother's B&B and Noah is one of her first customers. Everything is grand between them until she discovers why he's really there. Their siblings make everything even more tense and impossible for them to work around the issue. Love is powerful, but so is blood relations. What do they give up? Is there any way for them to win?

Finding love and one’s true calling…

Much more than just a beach house, it represents a “garden of hope”, literally, and it stands in the way of rekindling family ties and developing new relationships not to mention her desire for a successful Bed and Breakfast. There is more at the root of the problem since regret and past obligations run deep. There is Emma and her sister, Ashley, who inherited the property and Noah who needs to let his brother build a huge house next door after Ashley sold him the garden lot.

The story is well conceived and written with many layers, wonderful characters and a very satisfying conclusion. I enjoyed this novel very much from beginning to end. Not only are we drawn into the lives of Emma and Noah but we get to know Emma’s new-found friends and neighbor’s – sequels that I look forward to.

Oh my goodness! I simply adore this book! It feels so magical. We get a small taste of the community that is Seahaven, but I fell in love with it right away. It's like Chance Creek, but it felt like its own identity at the same time. I loved all the characters, and especially Emma and Noah. There’s just something about them that I can’t even put into words.
It’s on the sweeter side of contemporary romance, with the s*x being closed door but there’s a small bit of language. It wasn’t a turn off for me, because it's fun to read different stuff.
I really can’t wait to go back to Seahaven with the next story, and while I know it’s going to be a trilogy series, I’d love to stick around even longer than that.

This book is a great story of starting over and finding yourself. Family and friends make the story complex and interesting. Emma is starting over after finding out that she has inherited a B and B. She has to learn to trust her instincts again. Noah comes to stay at the B and B after buying the garden plot nearby not realizing that Emma’s sister was the one to sell it and that she would have regrets. Noah has a complex relationship with his brother who he hires to build his house. He didn’t expect to meet Emma and develop feelings for her. Their story is complex and real. It is about balancing family and trying to stay true to yourself as well. The story is also about finding forgiveness and understanding in family.
