I liked the. chapter on "atypical children" but it made me wonder, in a society where individualism is prized, are there truly any "typical children"? Interesting compilation of other people's ideas (well referenced at the end) and a great recombination of the way several methods. can be used together. Final thought, this book seems to make education more about giving kids control of the classroom but fails to take into account the implications of stress that control could place on unaccustomed students not prepared to take responsibility for their own education (if you always feed a child with a spoon then hand them a fork to try it themselves, whose interest did you serve?)
