I really enjoyed this outback Australian romance. The author has described the settings and scenes so vividly that I felt as if I were right there in the town as the story unfolded. The chemistry between Aurora and Ryan ignites the page and I was eager to find out how they would overcome their challenges and history to be together.
A very enjoyable and hot quick read. I loved the small town of Granite Ridge. Ryan and Aurora were fun characters with real, deep conflicts. A simple yet engaging story. I look forward to more.
A cracker of a story! After reading a blog by the author I downloaded this novella out of curiosity. So glad I did. Not only was it an engaging small town romance, it was really well written and edited. Hats off to Sara Hartland and team for a really professional product.
A damaged hero. A feisty heroine. A pub and a town that need saving. A love that needs resurrecting. Sparks fly in this Outback second-chance romance in which two city dwellers return to their small home town to help out and in doing so, find each other again. Sara Harrland’s writing is richly detailed as are her insights into the hearts of her characters, Red and Ryan.
Gosh, I loved this book, the characters, settings and especially the authentic and evocative language! Author Sara Hartland demonstrates a deep fondness for and intimate understanding of the people and issues of rural Australia, and her development of the relationship between Aurora (Red) and Ryan was magic. It was a joy to read.
