This is a series but you don’t need to read the previously books in the series to enjoy this one. I hadn’t read the previously books and I really enjoyed this children’s chapter book. This is a quick-paced story as Kitty is faced with a few obstacles as she solves another mystery using her superpowers with her cat crew at her side.
In this adventure, Kitty’s father has just finished creating a tree house for her and she can’t wait for her first sleepout. Mother has just informed Kitty that tonight, some good friends are coming over for dinner with their son, Ozzy. Mother thinks that Kitty should invite Ozzy to her sleepover. What?!? Kitty thought the tree house would only be hers.
When the family arrives, Ozzy seems too quiet for Kitty but nevertheless, she invites him to her sleepover. During the night, big changes occur for these two.
This was a fun adventure. I liked how there was some emotional ties and the mystery had a few layers to it. The storyline was easy to read but not childish. It was a good story.

I think that book was really good the part I loved is when Ozzy and Kitty found the two dogs. Well done Paula Harrison!

Kitty memperoleh teman baru, anak laki-laki bernama Ozzie, yg sama spt Kitty memiliki kekuatan super. Ozzie memiliki kekuatan super burung hantu. Mereka bekerjasama untuk mencari anjing milik pemilik toko kue.
Ternyata anjing tsb bernama Ludo yg kehilangan kalungnya. Merasa jatidirinya terancam, maka Ludo sibuk kesana kemari mencari kalung tsb. Tak disangka tak dinyana ada anjing kembaran Ludo yg bernama Tully mengenakan kalung tsb. Jadi siapakah anjing yg asli milik pemilik toko kue tsb?
Kembaran yg tertukar....
Yg satu baik hati dan lugu, yg satunya lagi jahat dan iri hati. Intinya kebaikan selalu menang dan kejahatan mendapatkan balasan yg setimpal. Cuma di buku ini endingnya ada win win solution.
Jadi saya sudah kelar baca buku seri ini buku 1-6. Aslinya sih sampai 12 buku, tapi yg ada di IPusnas cuma 6 buku. Lumayanlah ya apalagi gratis bacanya. Ilustrasinya ciamik dan ceritanya juga tidak mengecewakan walaupun simpel sekali ceritanya.

Such a fun, cute story! I love the illustrations, and the story itself is really cute and sweet. The characters were fun (I loved the talking animals) and it had a nice message too.

yes it’s me a grown person reading a book for young readers and absolutely loving it. i definitely plan to read all the books in this series and I don’t care if people think I’m too old for these!

Regalo de los reyes para Cata. Nunca la había visto leer tan rápido y me intrigo. La historia está decente la ilustración esta de huevos y el mensaje mejor. Ojala pueda leer más lo que ella lee.

A new ally appears, a dog goes wild in a bakery, and more! A fun action and friendship-packed part in the Kitty series.
I normally write these reviews in Dutch as I read the books in Dutch, but I thought this time I would just write my review in English. More people can read my thoughts that way!
In this book we have a new adventure and it comes with a new friend, a boy named George. I have to say that I had to warm up towards the boy, and still not sure if I actually like him. I mean, I love his superpowers. Whereas Kitty has kitty powers and can do amazing acrobatic skills, George can float/fly (well ish). He has owl powers! And I loved those. But the way George acted around Kitty, acting like he was better (though he had to be helped each and every step) was just not my cup of tea. Also, he was just so stiff and unemotional, like he was Spock from Star Trek. Plus, I love this series because Kitty works alone. I do hope we don’t get this duo stuff constantly. But that they occasionally meet up, I wouldn’t mind that.
Now it sounds like I didn’t have fun! But I definitely had fun. I loved seeing Kitty talk to animals, go on adventure, figure out why the dog did all the things (is he unhappy with his new home?? is something else wrong??), and see the case get wrapped up in a sweet and friendshippy way. The tree house, I would LOVE one like that as well with tons of fairy lights and space to just have a good nights sleep.
I definitely loved the little dog, OK, sure, at first I wasn’t sure what to think of him, but when we find out his reason? I just wanted to hold and hug him. Tell him it would be all right. That his owners still love him.
The art was just fabulous once again. I love that we get so many illustrations. From full pages to almost all of the page to little illustrations. And Jenny Lovlie has such a lovely (I am sure she heard that pun before) style.
All in all, I had fun. But I will be checking the next book for George and how much he is in it before I actually read it.

kali ini petualangan Kitty ditemani oleh Ozzy, anak teman ibunya yang baru saja pindah ke Kota Hallam dan menginap di rumah Kitty. ternyata, Ozzy juga pahlawan super seperti Kitty. bedanya, kekuatan super Ozzy yaitu dapat melihat setajam burung hantu. Ozzy memiliki teman burung hantu bernama Olive.
Katsumi datang membawa kabar bahwa ada kerusuhan yang dibuat oleh seekor anjing di Toko Kue Sticky Bun. anjing itu menghamburkan seluruh isi di dalam toko kue. ketika ingin ditangkap, anjing itu justru lari. mereka memutuskan untuk berpencar saja.
Kitty mendapati anjing itu adalah Labrador jantan. menurut pengakuan anjing itu, ia sedang kehilangan kalung bertuliskan namanya: Ludo. ia harus menemukannya karena kalau tidak, pemiliknya pasti akan sedih dan berpikir bahwa Ludo tidak suka dipelihara oleh mereka.

So far this book and number one are my faves out of the series! I love how we get to know that it's not just Kitty and her mom that have powers and I thought that was pretty cool.
Ozzy is a new kid to the town and he is super quite but he love the night, just like Kitty!! I love that they go on adventure together. As always I love the story as well as the art!! I am very excited to read the other books!

Friends can be hard to find and meeting new people even harder, especially when you have superpowers. Not everything is as it seems and twists come in many sizes. Another great adventure, shame my little kitty is scared of owls.

Lo que me gusta de estos libros es que Kitty y otros niños tienen comportamientos y sentimientos acordé a su edad, nada de adultos miniatura.
Y esta aventura me ha gustado porque se promueve la adopción, tanto infantil como de mascotas.

Memiliki kekuatan super memang menyenangkan, tetapi sekarang semuanya jadi lebih seru karena dia memiliki teman yang sama dengan dirinya!
Cerita khas anak-anak yang ringan dan menyenangkan, cukup seru, ditambah dengan ilustrasi yang menggemaskan.

Di buku ini Kitty enggak berpetualang sendirian. Dia diperkenalkan sama anak cowok yang ternyata juga punya kekuatan super. Berpetualang memang menyenangkan, tapi kalau punya temen yang bisa diajak berpetualang sama-sama rasanya pasti akan jauh lebih menyenangkan lagi.

Helppolukuinen kirja, tarina on ihan kiva kyllä ja pidin. Eniten kuitenkin pidin kuvista ja sivujen värityksestä, jotka vaihtelivat mustan ja valkoisen väliä. Mietin kyllä, että onko mustien sivujen valkoinen teksti kuinka hankalaa luettavaa. Mutta ulkoasu ja kuvat houkuttelevat lukemaan.

My daughters and I adore these books and we especially loved that this book introduced a new child with a new ability! They learned how to work together and solve the mystery of what happened in the bakery. Short, cute, and sweet.

My four year old loves these. I didn’t really need the addition of the know-it-all boy in this one, but it’s a fun, sweet series with very mild thrills for younger kids.
