To be perfectly honest, I was skeptical about this book. I have stopped reading self-help books -except for a few exceptions-. And things didn’t get better as I started reading the book, I mean, you’re talking to me about retreats in magical places and buying houses in foreign countries, so it seemed like another book written by a privileged woman for other privileged women, and the “follow your heart” mantra in the first pages didn’t really help (I don’t think it’s entirely wrong but I do have my reservations on it). Yet I insisted on going through with the book because it was given to me by a dear friend who spoke highly of Nevin and I could see her influence on her life, and I’m glad I did. The further I read it became clear to me that this book was on to something. It introduced some vital ideas which I personally needed to hear, even those ideas you think you know, but the way she formulates them is so simple and powerful and easy to remind yourself about whenever you fall victim to doubt or anxiety. I even reconsidered my previous prejudice about it being a book for the privileged, the truth is that perhaps it is indeed, because you can’t preach this content to someone who is struggling to meet their daily needs and fighting against various odds over which they have no control, but that’s the point, the problem is not the book or this type of books, because everyone has the right to a decent life where they don’t spend their time worrying about food and paying the rent and are able to focus on improving their world-view and working on themselves. So, yes, maybe the book isn’t for everyone, but it should be. I think it’s an important book that I would recommend for anyone dealing with anxiety or self-doubt, or simply looking for a new perspective on life.

This is a great book .. golden one ..
I may know most of its ideas but Nevin made it clear and very organized ..

No details which a thing that may be needed from most of readers but I find it enough ! I don’t like big books especially when you talk LIFE as its all about experience..

Reading books and getting sessions won’t be useful unless we experienced it in reality from a to z

اتحفظ على مايسمى كتب التنمية البشرية، رغم اني اطالعها من باب التنوع أولا، والتعرف ثانيًا على هذا المدار الرائج حديثًا حيثما تلفتنا، تعددت مدارسه وأنماطه، ولا شك ان كل منها ينطوي على فكرة ما، منفلتة من قاموس خبراتنا.

كتاب ذهبي مُلهم بحق، خطوات واقعية طبقتها الجندي لتغيير نفسها ومعيشتها، أقدمت على حياة عملية وهي تقارب الخمسبن، نجحت من خلالها ارشاد العديدين للتحول من التشكيك بالذات الى الثقة، من الخوف الى الحرية بغية عيش حقيقي سعيد.

إلى أي حد تتحكم أفكارنا في رؤيتنا لذاتنا؟ كم منا يدرك حقيقته؟ شغفه؟ هل نمتلك اليقين بالله؟ هل نعي الوفرة في حياتنا؟ النعم؟ نمتن لها؟ ماذا عن الحدس؟ حديث القلب الذي ندير له ظهورنا! وماذا تفعل بنا المصاعب ان لم تعلمنا؟

كتاب امتلأ بالالوان، مظللة الجمل التي لامستني 😊
كتاب بان لي في التو واللحظة بعدما أغلقت كل وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي - حتى مع أهلي وأولادي - لأكون بين طياته ومع نفسي ..
هذه الكتب تختارك، تظهر كرسالة من الكون، من الله الرحمن العليم، وستجد -خاصة ان كنت بمثل عمري- انك تعرف كل ماجاء فيها، ولكننا بعوز لمن يضع لنا خطًا أحمرًا تحت ما نحتاجه حينها.

This book is inspiring ❤️ I loved it.
They way it’s written makes you want to get to finish it, but also want to take it step by step slowly to absorb all details and rules written .
