Alien Abductors #3

Alien Monster

Rate this book
I’ve abducted an alien.

It’s usually the other way around; aliens abduct Earth girls like me and sell them at auctions for the buyer to impregnate. But I’ve been there, done that, got the PTSD to show for it.

It’s not that I wanted to abduct this bright green, eight feet tall guy with eyes as red as stoplights. It was an accident.  But I’m afraid he doesn’t believe that.

Because he’s the scariest thing I’ve ever seen. And I happen to know that he’s a criminal, the nightmarish leader of a notorious gang.

He’s trembling with rage, alien eyes piercing me. The force field holding him could fail at any moment. When it does, he’ll definitely murder me. And the way his pants are bulging,  I can only hope that’s all he’ll do.

Alien Monster is the third book in the Alien Abductors series of science fiction romance novels. The books are complete stories, but should be read in order for maximum enjoyment.

Expect steamy scenes, mysterious aliens with features like adult toys, deadly planets and the love story between a girl from Earth and a sensationally hot alien with hidden talents.

Kind of meh overall

Some of the plot points and writing just felt disjointed so I kept being taken out of the story.
Emma accidentally abducts the monster alien while trying to rescue and earth girl. They end up in many precarious situations trying to find their way back to their stations. Honestly, getting more of a backstory on Emma, from her own perspective not just previous books, would have helped me invest in her more. All you know from this book is that she’s part of a resistance, has a sister who is as well, and is scared of fighting but apparently not of dying on a mission. That’s her entire backstory from this book. We get more on the MMC, but I would have liked to see him doing his morally grey piracy stuff.

Spice: 3/5

Triggers: trafficking, violence

SOOO GOOD!!

Another amazing story from Calista! I really loved this one, loved how “monsterish” the hero was on the outside, but how good and decent he was where it matters, seeking to keep his station safe from evil slave traders, being protective of his woman and doing what’s right. He was just awesome.

I also liked Emma, liked that she wasn’t a ball-buster or fearless, but was vulnerable and scared from her experiences, but wasn’t willing to let those fears stop her from fighting against injustice, even if her attempts to fight injustice weren’t always thought out too well. She had the passion and motivation, if not the brains for strategy. Might help to team up with a stern, strategically-minded monster alien who was calm and cool under fire and always has a plan.

Hero’s past isn’t mentioned, heroine is a virgin, belongs only to the hero, there’s no cheating of any kind, no ow/om drama. Possible triggers: heroine was once sold into slavery, and faces the same danger fighting against the slavers. HEA, but epilogue with only a short time elapsed. However this story is a stand-alone connected with a series

Okay, so I enjoyed to an extent the first book, liked the second better in some ways and less in others, but then THIS...!!

Emma is a spitfire. I love her passion, her fly-by-the-seat-of-her pants mentality, and her sense of humor. Her little sidekick (Bzt!) is adorable in a very DangerBoat kind of a way (←you'd have to watch 'The Tick'. And if you haven't, you have NO IDEA what you're missing!!!) Big Green monster is far and away the best alien in this series.

There are challenges (like in an old Nickelodeon game show), there are chases, there are strange creatures and amazing spaceships. There are betrayals and plot twists and SO MUCH fun!

I absolutely loved this edition, and can't wait for the next. And this is HIGHLY unusual for me - to give *anything* five stars. I just had such a good time reading it, it's even surprising *me*!

Definitely give this one a shot!

“I calmly stand up, grab the female’s throat with my other hand, and lift her up by her neck. “What is waiting at that place?”
“Nothing!” she gargles, face going dark red.
I let her hang for a heartbeat while I think. If she has friends there, I might want to keep her alive. I don’t know what could happen here.
Swatting at a tiny little insect that buzzes past me, I let the female down, and she collapses to the deck, wheezing and gasping for air.”

- great way to make me hate H, by him nearly choking h to death, now I know that H is able to hurt women and he doesn’t care that it is absolutely wrong and sick to do that, especially to his mate, doesn’t matter if she’s just a stranger, you don’t hurt women and this asshole is on my shit list

Emma is determined to stop the slave trade that the Bululg have trapped Earth females into. So much so that she intends to do a one-woman mission and do some recce at a known slave hub. Well her first mission is almost successful. She does get someone on board her shuttle - it's just not the Earth female she was aiming for. This passenger is taller, more muscled, and definitely greener!

Kagaron is the leader of a group of space pirates who have developed a space station. He's unaware of his unearned reputation as a slaver - something he would NEVER get involved in, not with his history. But someone on his station has found the lure of credits too much and is usurping his rules!

Short, satisfying space adventure with a mistaken reputation, feisty but flawed female, and a tender-hearted giant Alien with a reputation to uphold as a stoic space pirate!

Great read!

ALIEN MONSTER ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Well, meet Emma, jumps first, brain kicks in second. Yep kind of like a bull in a china shop. Let me phrase it a little more politely, she doesn't think things through. Kagaron, alien, leader of a band of pirates, 8 foot tall, green and extremely pissed at Emma. This is their story and it's a doozy. Now, that's just a teaser of another brilliant book by Calista Skye. There's two books prior to this and yes they can be read as a standalone. But, I mean, why take a taste of your of your favorite dessert when you can have a full serving. I cannot wait for the next book. This book has romance, humor, action, plus more, more and then some. Remember if you want to read a book you can't put down, you have to pick it up first.

Okay

This ones not too bad but as the series goes on it seems the characters are less? I found myself skimming the pages just to finish a chapter. A few new characters to help the main get on her journey but this book felt more disjointed to me. Taking a break from the series to get a different perspective because this author really is pretty good and has an interesting storyline. I guess I have just lost interest in the earth resistance cause and the rainbow of aliens that come along for the ride. His man parts look like what and has how many?? Um no, lol. Happy reading.

nice moves

So, I really enjoyed the story, I thought the plot was intense. I believe the main plot follows the continuing storyline of the Earth getting free of their captives. I am a little iffy on the characters. I felt the guy was a little redundant with his safety speeches all of the time. I felt like there was a few instances that showing her would have sealed the deal. There was to much talk and a little action to actually believe him and I guess that is how Emma felt but I wanted to feel their relationship more and that kind of fell flat. I gave this a 3.5 but rounded it up because there is a lot of goodness and things I appreciated throughout the story.

Loving the Space Monsters and Bzt

I've enjoyed all 3 of the Alien Abductors books so far from Calista Skye. Emma's story was slightly different in who abducted whom at first and even though the author explains later in her "After Words" that Bzt was created as a bit of comic relief that she didn't feel worked very well, I have to say, he was one of my favorite characters that made the series just a little bit less dark which we all need sometimes.

I'm looking forward to the next book in the series, book 4, whenever it comes out.

Edge of your seat action!
A rip-roaring adventure and delightful, thoroughly unorthodox romance! Emma is determined to undertake a mission on her own. The thing is, she’s seriously impetuous. This takes her on some pretty wild rides throughout the story. Once Kagaron gets past his initial animosity, he is fiercely protective, and has a droll sense of humor. I love the wordplay between the two of them. It’s funny and provocative at the same time. It’s a thrilling story - I love it!

Action packed romance!

Emma is on a mission to save Earth girls from slavers. She accidentally takes Kagaron instead of the girl. They have a series of crazy adventures along with some steam. There is also a little bit of intrigue. There were a few little typos, but nothing major. These books are great and even though it could be a stand alone, I recommend reading them in order for maximum enjoyment.

I love this author! Her female characters are strong and extremely sexy and strong. Her male characters are strong but willing to let their females do what they need to. Just something you don't see to often.
I can't say to much more without giving away the storyline.
I will say that I am providing this review because the author was kind enough to let me read a copy(ARC) but not because I have too.

I love Calista’s Alien Caveman series so I’m sad to say I was really disappointed with this book. I think it’s safe to say, we read this book (and these types of books) for hot alien sex (and the fated mates concept), am I right? I’m 83% in and there was like one quick sex scene... the other “sex scenes” didn’t even constitute as fade-to-black at the absolute very least, instead, they were only alluded to. Highly disappointing.

Update: 100% done and there was one sex scene...

👽 “Oh holy Darkness. She is too good a fit for me.”
~~~
Ema is a fighter and a bit reckless but smart and very compassionate. Kagaron is a badass, honorable and very protective (sometimes a bit too much). And I really enjoyed their relationship - it’s full of passion, romance and interesting alien naughty bits.
I loved their adventures, the new worlds and new characters we get to meet (Bzt is so awesome).
The story is also filled with so much action, betrayals, misunderstandings, twists, turns and lots of laughs. It’s a great read till the last page.
Can’t wait for more stories!
This is a steamy human and alien unexpected romance with so much action, you will read this book quickly. Emma is part of Earth's Resistance and she sees a human female while checking out this notorious station where Kagaron is the leader. When she goes to grab the human female, she accidently gets Kagaron instead and this is when the adventure begins. Happily they fall in love during all of their adventures and save his station at the same time.
You can't make others do what you want
Emma has to learn that just because she wants it to be so does not mean it is going to happen
She really doesn't "think" things through she just goes off like a loose cannon. If she would actually stop and think about things she wouldn't end up in half her situations.
I did really enjoy the book. I can hardly wait for the next one.
Alien Monster
The Alien Abductors series is interesting. You meet new characters everytime , most of whom are thoroughly enjoyable. I like the stories of the characters backgrounds and look forward to reading more about the Elders. I feel like there might be an Elder story soon!
❤👍👍
Emma finally got her book and it definitely exceeded expectations. Balderot kind of reminded me of the wizard at the end of Wizard of Oz when he gave the three their prizes. You can't help but kind of like the big ball of snakes. Bzt was probably one of my favorite characters of the series so far. I can't wait to read the next one.
Loved It
The story was amazing and captivating from beginning to end. It has everything you want in a romance with plenty of action, adventure, suspense, humor, love, and a romance so hot it sizzles with awesome characters? A beautiful series, highly recommend, and a must buy book.
Conflicted
On one hand I love the alien “monster” and many parts of this story. On the other, not everything. I was left bewildered on several parts. Could not follow the logic or reasons why the author wrote the characters certain ways. Like the asteroid ship part. No sense.
Will read next in series and hope it is smoother
A Must Read
I felt this story gave more insight to the main storyline and characters. Kagaron is an alien male, acts of piracy is his name to fame, gained a space station and now mostly manages. He has strong protective instincts, which for his mate becomes an issue. Emma is human struggling with nightmares from an abduction. She wants to be useful and prove, she can handle whatever it takes to save earth as a resistant fighter. Kagaron and Emma are well matched as they both want to overcome fears. I felt there was more action in this book plus light moments, I would recommend to readers that wants to read a not so extreme alien abduction.
An excellent book
Calista has another winner with this book. Once I started to read it I couldn’t put it down. A very good addition to this series. A strange alien hero and a fighter of a human girl. Some twists and turns make this one a must to read
Safety can never be overrated.
A great addition to the Alien Abductors series. I really enjoyed Emma, somewhat reckless and full of heart, and Kagaron, the misunderstood monster. It was a great dynamic.
Best of the three
This was the best of the three books. Characters were interesting and grew. Dialogue was better developed and believable. Some nice twists and turns that developed into surprises.
