Somewhere between three and four stars. When the author starts talking about Daisy and Tom Buchanan and Jay Gatsby, I'm thinking "Wait, aren't they fictional characters? How can they be in this book"? Moment of thinking and " This IS another book of fiction, so I guess it's OK". the people from The Great Gatsby have a pretty important part in the story......but wait again, Maybe it's not all about them at all. Rethinking, I would definitely give The Double Bind four stars. A roller coaster ride from page one to the end.
