This series was the biggest waste of time. Not only was it so fucking boring that I only wanted to know what happened at the end, I couldn’t even skim read. Would skip over pages and then pick up somewhere. Yes the books were small but really, was 3 books necessary?
How many times will the fmc *gasp*
Fuck, I have never read about a character more dumb or shallow in my entire life. She finds reasons to not trust him, then fucks him, then goes back to not trusting him. Every fucking time he took her doubt away you’d think she would confront him instead of running away? The fuck.
Oh and let’s not forget how her mum told her her fathers name, and that he was from the north side, yet when the first guy that came up with her fathers name, she didn’t even question it when she thought about her dad a lot. Come on! On top of that, the key? She literally gave us all the reasoning the “charm” was important but didn’t figure it out? Billshit.
On top of that, this chick, for the life of her, can never get out of trouble. She thinks she’s “smart” and “strong” but nah, she the complete opposite. Every single time knights come to rescue her. WEAK. Oh and let’s not forget how she mentioned that she’s from the south side so she has certain skills. Bitch where?
This is what I mean by she is DUMB.
Ridiculous book and series. Never regretted something more in my life.

Electrifying!

We finally get the answers we've been dying to know and it was as awesome as it was heartbreaking.
The story behind Violet's parents was so sad, yet so beautiful, and I think the way it was built made Violet's story and background even more enthralling.
She was such a strong and captivating character, she needed a past that lived up to the awesomeness she was.

King totally redeemed himself. The bully jerk from the first book was totally gone. I mean, he was controlling and possessive, but not mean to Violet anymore. On the very opposite, he started to let his walls down for her, and from that came a caring, protective and vulnerable guy.
He could crumble the city, but differently from the first book, now he was willing to do it not only to find out truths and stir up chaos. Now it was for Violet.

They were surrounded by so much danger (my God, that little town was pure madness), and most of the time, trust didn't come easily for them (specially Violet). But the way they started leaning in on each other more and more as the days went by, the way they started to trust more in each other, the way their feelings grew to the point it was impossible to ignore made the story so addicting and I fell more in love with them both.

And even though this story was about King and Violet (mostly), I couldn't leave this without talking about Arabella, Briggs and Caleb.
It's not always I like Hero and Heroine's best friends. But these ones totally captivated me.
They were loyal and honest, they were willing to put their lives in danger and also to say the ugliest of truths to their friends, calling them on their mistakes without ever stepping over the line and being intrusive.
That was a fine line to walk and the author made a damn great job.

I can't wait to see more of all of them.

The Story of Knight & Violet Rolls Towards it’s Obvious Conclusion

The conclusion to “The Green Hills Academy”Series.

As expected, Violet, and Knight finally put the pieces together, and find out about her father, and his parents deaths.

They also find out what part the evil Mayor Ichabod King (Knight Uncle) his wife, Kiki, and the other side characters, Played in their demise.
Also the diabolical plan by Ichabod to gain Violet’s inheritance and run Franklin industry to produce a highly addictive drug.

BUT!

Before we got there, we had to deal with a pesky problem of Violet being held captive in Crystal Hillsgate’s basement.

And!

Just how she was going to get out…

Hmmm…Have no fear because, her clever boyfriend (?) Knight King had a tracker in the Freakin necklace he gave her…I know…WTF!

Seriously.
Violet really DID have nine lives.
Once again we get ALL the drama and angst only to have it ripped away with Knight to the rescue.

The authors sets up the two main characters in situation that seem impossible to get out of, and then miraculously gives them all the tools to immediately get out of those situations.

This is extremely frustrating, as just as they seem in peril, they manage to foil the plans, and escape.
Thus, as the reader, it kinda puts a dampener on the drama build up.

Then, between all this drama we get the sex between these two…
I swear. To many authors these days are using movie’s like “Pretty Women” - the shopping bit.
And.
‘50 Shade of Grey” - the vibrator bit as a reference point.

Ugh! Violet. The girl with the constant ache between her legs, throbbing clit, and pointy nipples.

She got wet just staring at Knight.

And.
Thank goodness she was able to call on her skill set she learnt from the South Side

It cracked me UP how Violet would have inner monologues about her suspicions about Knight not being honest with her,and being responsible for some of the deaths of the people who have tried to harm her.

But!

She’ll still go to him for sex and multiple O’s.
I found Knight to be demanding, controlling, ( I guess this was supposed to be sexy) POS! and Violet being a needy B’.

So eventually, we got to the end.

The big confrontation between Evil Ichobod, and Violet, and Knight, conveniently at “Jacks Diner” the SAME diner Violets Father, Jack Franklin owned.

And once again. Knight to the rescue…Yay!

HEA’s all round.

To say this final book disappointed would be an understatement.

And to think things started so well in the beginning.
The first part of the first book, I couldn’t put down.
Then the rest of the story borrowed from Disney, fairytales with a lot of “50 Shade,” and a touch of “Pretty Women”
And a LOT of bully romance “ go to” plot usuals.

I received a copy of this ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review"

This is the last installment of the Savage Knight trilogy

Freaking amazing !!!!! The shady fucked up shit a small town has is beyond crazy haha. Good lord that was a roller coaster. As the truth unravells Violet and Knight continue to fight the push and pull of their feelings for one another as well as the fight for the truths about the past and present mysteries that they have stumbled upon them.

With the truths and hidden secrets now out in the open will Violet and Knight finally admit they mean more to each other than they pretend to let on?

And most importantly will justice be served??👀👀👀

Broken King is amazing. Yes you must read this in order. Yes you get plenty of hotness coming off of Knight and Violet. I love Violet's sass and the bickering foreplay between her and Knight. Knight doesn't stop until he gets the answers the he is looking for. Violet finally will see the light of every twist and turn that has been thrown at her since her mothers death. I love how we are kept on our toes this entire trilogy. I couldn't put this down. I loved every moment of Violet and Knight. You will love how everything unfolds. I cannot wait for more to come from Josie Max.

Wow, just WOW....

This was the perfect ending for this Trilogy. Poor Violet ~ Who can you trust? What should you believe? What would I do??? These are all the questions I had while reading. Violet remained strong, she was no shrinking flower, and that made me like her more. I have to say the character that surprised me the most in was Knight, he was not what I expected. I can't wait from more from this "messed up" little town!

Broken King is the final book in the Green Hills Academy Trilogy by Josie Max and oh my what an explosive finale this was. The story begins after the cliffhanger in the previous book Twisted Knight.

I really enjoyed the secrets and twists that were revealed as the story unfold. I love that Violet finally found out the truth about what happened to her mother and that she discovered the truth about who she was. Violet really got to me in this book with her treatment of Knight especially after everything he has done for her. I was totally over her running away instead of facing her problems head on (girl you always end up in a bad situation when you do this).

I love Knight and I am glad he finally managed to do everything that he wanted to do (if you know what I mean, wink wink). I really love Arabella and I would definitely be interested in reading her story. And oh my gosh I’m so excited for Briggs’s story. Josie is a fantastic author and I am looking forward to reading more of her work.

I recieved an advanced copy for free, and this is my honest opinion.

Book 3.. the final installment! You must read Savage Devil and Twisted Knight before reading this.

We finally get the answers we've been waiting for... Who killed Violet's mom? Why was Knight at the pond? What is the Mayor up to? Why is everyone after Violet? Can we really trust Knight?

Violet finally finds out the truth about what happened to her mother and the truth about who she really is. And as this all unravels, Violet and Knight continue to fight the push & pull of their feelings for one another. Although being constantly surrounded by so much danger... both began to trust each other more and their feelings grew stronger. Josie Max did a great job with developing these characters... showing us growth. Knight went from a bully/jerk to this guy who was protective & vulnerable. Violet finally opened up and shown her light.

The story is full of heartache, deceit, steamy passion, and twists and turns giving you doubts on who you should know & trust!

More hawt sex and more insane decisions, trust issues, and waffling back and forth over motive, guilt and honesty. Violet is still just letting things happen and coming up with no plan. There is even more evil monologues telling the "victim" all the bad things they have done and why.... all being caught on camera and live streamed, which I would have expected FINALLY for them to do, but it came wrapped up in such a ridiculous scene that it was rather moot at that point.

Again with the locket. She didn't have it in book 1, she had it in book 2, and she didn't have it in book 3. I'm so confused about the locket.

I didn't hate this, the writing is good, the storytelling is good... it's just that the story was pedestrian and didn't stand up to suspended disbelief.

I regret the time I spent reading all three of these books. I should have stopped after the first one when I realized how utterly idiotic the female lead was. There are obvious plot errors and the plot is a case of the author trying to throw readers off with a preponderance of conflicting clues when the villain has been obvious from the start. Yet however obvious the clues were, the heroine was too stupid to make any of the connections and just stumbled through the whole thing always running head long into trap after trap because she never stopped to consider the evidence as a whole and take even a minute to think things through. I just stayed frustrated and furious with how stupid she was.

We finally got proper answers

I needed to read this since I hardly ever leave a book unfinished. It's not my style. Anyway, it was a good read but I had to give this book a 4/5 stars only for the fact that I thought Violet, the heroine was a little dense at times and such a pessimist. I wanted her to be stronger and learned who she could trust and not doubt her feelings so much. I'm glad everything was out in the open and we understood why the parents were murdered and the intentions behind them.

🌟🌟🌟

This was definitely not the worst series I’ve read. It had a good storyline. My only complaint is that it felt rushed.

As a result, there were parts that were confusing, and I ended up having to re-read those parts.

I think my biggest complaint was how Knight told Violet that he loved her. I felt like it didn’t fit where it happened. I felt like there were plenty of times where he could say it (like when they went shopping).

In general, the plot of the story was good, so I think it’s definitely worth reading.

How do I always wind up reading the most ridiculous stories with the most idiotic characters? Someone please take KU away from me.

What a bunch of nonsense. I didn’t like a single character in this book. There are doormat protagonists—and then there’s Violet, who’s full-on TSTL. Knight is just a weirdo. The plot is full of preposterous errors and inconsistencies.

Because I clearly enjoy suffering, I read the bonus scene too. It’s mostly Arabella and Knight exchanging foreplay banter in college. Yep—she’s still third-wheeling there.

This is the conclusion in the series so please read the first two. I know it says it in the blurb but it needs repeating. This ties up everything you wanted to know and more! There are still some twists and turns through this book and you may not know who to trust. Violet needs to trust what she can’t see and that is the biggest leap of faith. Knight is not what he seems. I loved being on the edge of my seat through this series!

Zero continuity

While the first books were ok (enough to keep me reading) they were redundant. This one though, was terrible. Details from the first 2 books were different in this one and they kept bouncing around. It was hard to follow. It didn't feel like the same characters with the indecisiveness in each chapter. It felt rushed, especially at the end. Honestly I almost didn't finish it.

Fantastic conclusion to this dark bully romance trilogy.

This is book three of the Green Hills Academy trilogy, please be sure to read books one and two before reading this book.

Knight may be called the devil, but his uncle the mayor is one twisted man. Violet is not sure if she can trust Knight; as much as she wants to she knows he's keeping secrets and she's really nor sure if he is no her side or just using her. This is a great trilogy and I highly recommend it!

Good read

So I really liked characters in this book and the story line. It was a little hard to follow at times but overall It was intriguing. I gave it 4 stars because there was a few typos and I didn't like the constant back and forth between the FMC and MMC. Also, I would have liked read more about the MMCs friends. Looking forward to the spin off book 🙂

Great Book and Series

Wow this series it exciting and I read all 3 books in 2 days they are that good.
I have just loved this series and how despite all the kidnapping, drugs, sexual assault and murder two people find love where they least expected it.
By god if anyone has a Mayor like this in their town they should pack up and leave immediately.

Good read

Now the story is almost to all over the place. Parts were confusing but the story line itself is actually very good. Violet never knew what she was missing. And Knight just needed to find that person to be his anchor. I gave it 4 stars because it was a little, I want to say rushed? But worth the read for sure

This girl. How many times can Knight prove to her he cares, rescue her, let her move in, go after her… and she still runs away and doesn’t trust him? Man, if I were him I’d be like ✌🏼. South Side skills, where?! She just does not use her brain.

The end in the diner was very anticlimactic. Such a build up and it’s just like…smile for the camera. Sirens. End scene.

The MFC got on my nerves hard core. After two and a half books her distrust of the MMC was unwarranted and annoying. I feel like much of this book and series was a bit forced. I didn't feel connected to the characters. This could really be a me problem, but I tried really hard to enjoy this series but it was a bit of a let down .

It's OK. The story is as predictable as Tuesday folding Monday. A disney ending where the lowly girl finds out she is in fact a princess and rides off into the sunset with the misunderstood knight ( pun intended)
For me it read more like gossip girl/cruel intentions fan fiction

Perfection

This is the third and final instalment for this series and wow it is a banger! Many things were obvious and others were not. I loved how the story tied together and the big reveal moment was giving major Scooby Doo vibes as the scene unfolded. Loved the series!
