TOUCH OF HELL
We might survive this, if we don't kill each other first.
If you told me I would open up a demon exterminator business with the guy who's pulled on my pigtails since grade school, I would have told you to put down the crack pipe and snap out of it.
But the gates to a hell dimension opened up, releasing dark creatures into our world, and now it's up to Travis and me to clean up the streets.
A hell of a pair we make. The sidekicks, the losers, the screw ups. But at least we have a purpose now, chasing down the nightmares in our Whack A Ghoul van. Being part psychopath has never been so advantageous.
It's satisfying work, even if we sometimes accidentally burn down a client’s house while trying to exorcise the demons.
But when a mass of strange and unsettling suicides crop up, we find ourselves in waaay over our head. Not only because we have to track down the supernatural evil at work, but because my past has come back to haunt me.
I shoved my childhood trauma so far down, I can't afford to let my subconscious vomit it back up. I'll do anything to keep it locked in that cage, even if it means pushing away the one person who's stuck by me through literal hell.
And if that's not enough to send me to the insane asylum...
I'm hiding the fact I'm knocked up with Travis’s baby from our one night stand.

Touch of Hell - What I liked most about this story is that you really see just how far each of the characters has grown, and how much more they still have to go. From the beginning, Travis was not the one you wanted in a time of emergency. No survival skills, no communication skills, no fighting ability, nothing to recommend him. Learning about the Stygian, seeing the devastation that evils brings, and realizing how every person needs to fight, he stands up and becomes better. The scenes between him and the kids and him and Gran show a more caring and emotional side. The scenes between him and Krystan show the yearning he has to be wanted and needed. But it's his determination to the be the best he can be that truly shows his growth.
Into Darkness - Hell is not just a place, but also an emotion. Enemies, frenemies, uneasy alliances... not the best circumstances for finding a way home. Damien's deviousness, the sacrifices the orders made, Emma's belief and Calan's strength is all challenged by what they know to be the most difficult portion of their journey.
End Game - Great conclusion to this series. The orders are all in disarray. Enemies have become uneasy alliances, possibly friends. Weddings bring out the 'zilla experience and all Calan still really wants is to go on a picnic. But will the Stygian have the last laugh?
Into Darkness - Hell is not just a place, but also an emotion. Enemies, frenemies, uneasy alliances... not the best circumstances for finding a way home. Damien's deviousness, the sacrifices the orders made, Emma's belief and Calan's strength is all challenged by what they know to be the most difficult portion of their journey.

The I read all three novels separately, this is a great bargain to read them together.
A Touch of Hell has Krystan and Travis falling for each other and starting their company Whack a Ghoul. A fun-loving story. We get to meet Snarp the demon who possesses Krystan’s grandmother.
In Into Darkness we have one from each house in hell. Now they have to get out without killing each other. Snarp helps them out.
End Game ends it all, Emma ends up with a hitch hiker who may just ruin her wedding day.
Three great reads that I would recommend to all.

The last 3 books of The 5 Orders Series is a must have! The last 3 books are full of action, romance, humor and surprises! The books are so good, you will read until the end of the final book and ask for more!
