Have you ever thought about a person from your past and wondered what if? You know who I mean…the one that got away. I have, and his name is Jack Perry.

He’s fun and flirty. Sexy and mysterious. But there’s also a dark, brooding side where he hides a secret bedroom desire. A provocative veiled persona no one knows about.

You see, years ago, we had an internet relationship. After trading countless emails about our private thoughts, he went deeper, confiding in me what was missing from his sex life.

It intrigued me, and I never forgot about it.

Now my life has been thrown into a tailspin. I feel invisible these days. Lost…and after all these years, Jack and his soulful eyes have been on my mind. A lot. I made the decision to experience the tall and handsome Mr. Perry in the flesh. To stop being invisible. To start feeling alive again.

So, here I am, standing on his front porch, ready to meet him for the first time. No matter what happens, this evening is destined to be full of surprises. You’re welcome to come along. Within these pages is a story you don’t want to miss…

I never imagined “what if” could go so far. Great story with incredible steamy scenes. I really loved the chemistry of J and Nat. (I wouldn’t mind being Nat, haha. ) I’m looking forward to seeing what happens to them in book 2.

Acts of Closure is a wild, seductive ride with powerful moments of raw emotion and tenderness. It is part wild fantasy and part cautionary tale. Is it wise or healthy to act out a long-held desire? Is it possible to compartmentalize an isolated act of intimacy and then go on with your real life? Our MC, "Nat" believes so when this story begins. Ms. Anderson has written a fascinating and erotic tale of seduction, friendship, and love that will hold you captive until the final pages.

Anderson takes readers on one couple’s sensual journey of passion and discovery in her fascinating latest.

It’s been almost a decade since Natalie talked to Jack Perry, the lusciously sexy, enigmatic stranger on the net. But Jack is no ordinary struggling writer, weighed down by a broken relationship and a devastating secret of his past she met online years ago: he is a highly successful screenwriter in Hollywood. And Nat herself is married now, content in her life except for a bit of restlessness that makes her wonder about Jack. What if she knocks on his door and announces herself suddenly? Can she find the courage to act on her fantasy? And what happens if she does?

Anderson adeptly reveals the duo’s intricately complex attraction to each other, allowing their relation to develop with subtlety and sensuality. The story’s main draw is Jack and Nat’s passionate longing for each other and the sense of melancholy, which is an integral part of their love.

Jack’s vulnerability and integrity make him a compelling hero. Nat, with her impulsiveness and honesty shines throughout. Though the thriller elements form the basis of the plot, the book is heavy on emotions and subtle romance, with tantalizing scenes of erotic love-making stretching beyond a few pages.

The gripping narrative is rich with details, passionate romance, and poignant emotions while yearning and tender love dominate the story, turning the novel into a melancholy, haunting read.

Erotic without being crass, the novel makes for a page-turner.

I originally bought this one for my wife. I mean, erotic fiction is really not something I normally read but I know she likes this sort of thing so she got the first read on it. I already had far too many books to work through!

Unfortunately, as I bought her the Kindle edition, her tablet died and she hasn't had the chance to read it, so I got another copy, this time for myself, and I'm glad I did!

The premise and concept for Acts of Closure by N.T. Anderson is excellent and one that really will resonate with a lot of people, that nagging feeling about "The one who might have been!" Told over a single day, through the eyes of Natalie as she reconnects with J, and the very clever use of e-mail flashbacks, the story is perfectly paced, never rushing you through or slowing down too much at the wrong time.

Bear in mind, this is a book aimed at open-minded adults, definitely not one for the kids, but if you like your reading clever, interesting and steamy, this is definitely for you and I'm really looking forward to finding out what happens next with Natalie and J.

I must say, as romance books go this is not bad. OK, the hero is stunningly handsome, supremely fit and ridiculously wealthy but that's par for the course. I'm not sure I should be using the terms hero and heroine though given that both characters are cheating on their partners. One thing I would have liked to see is a playlist given how important music is to both characters. According to Nikki this may happen at the end of the series. All in all though, a pretty good read.

End of a dream.

Nat had always thought of J. Now she would find the answers. NT Anderson has written a remarkable tale. It's to me half romance, half redemption. I find myself wondering what happens next. Always a good place to leave a reader if you are writing a series and I have a feeling this will Bevan amazing one.

NT Anderson is an ‘Author of Erotic Romance’, and the absorbing story of how Natalie meets Jack face to face for the first time, rekindling a relationship that had started online many years ago, is just that. Romance with a side order of steamy!
But it’s also so much more.
There are, of course, the spicy sex-scenes, but this is emphatically NOT a book where the story has been fudged in around such erotic set pieces. These scenes are a natural extension of the story, which is very much a kind of old-school romance. It’s a very intimate story, in a way that feels like this could be turned easily into an engrossing stage production.
One weekend. One location. Two people.
The joy of the story NT Anderson tells, however, is in the details. In the moments between the two characters that give the story a kind of bittersweet feeling. Erotic-Romance is not usually my genre to read, but as a middle-aged man I recognize the sentiment of looking back over your life and casting a curious eye over the paths not taken.
This is Natalie’s mindset in the book. I defy anyone our age to not be a little retrospective sometimes and wonder ‘what if’. To want closure on some aspect of our life from the past.
‘Acts of Closure’ is a self-contained tale, but it’s also billed as the first part of a trilogy. The ending leaves the reader satisfied, but also wondering where this story goes next.
I’m definitely on board for the next instalment.

Acts of Closure, the first book in The Acts Series by NT Anderson, was an absolute joy to read. After an online relationship many years ago, Natalie finally meets the man she believed had got away – Jack. What follows is so much more than erotica. It’s the story of two people who can’t resist each other, not just physically but emotionally too – and a tender exploration of what might have been. Both characters are written with such depth that they feel completely real. The flirting, the desire, the sex – it’s all beautifully crafted, as their relationship unfolds into something far more complex and deep. Told from Natalie’s perspective, NT Anderson opens her up to us in such a natural, effortless way that nothing ever feels forced. You can’t help but care deeply for her, and to feel every spark, doubt and rush of emotion alongside her.

For a story that takes place over less than twenty-four hours, it’s remarkable how vividly the characters come to life – not only in their present, but in their shared and individual pasts. The writing itself is elegant, confident and full of emotional intelligence, drawing you in with a sense of authenticity. The erotica is exciting, steamy, and beautifully written, but it’s also seamlessly woven into a narrative that offers so much more. This is a clever, passionate and genuinely moving story, and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

This is such a unique book, it is written in first person and has a very interesting feel from the start. What would happen if we took a left instead of a right. Fell in love with another person. Or just made a small choice that was different. This story explores that what if, but goes farther and stands on the precipice. What if that person that we friended on Social media years ago and never met in person was our person. This takes us on an adventure to see the what if. I enjoyed this book. We all have that someone that we wonder about. That someone that we took the left with and not the right. This story is about the what if, and finding out what it could have been. It’s a romantic story with feels. This is a new author to me and I thought the writing style was intriguing and fresh.

NT Anderson has delivered a solid, compelling, and passionate contemporary romance.

Right from the start, any reader can tell that Anderson has a great command of language and possesses exceptional writing ability. The best thing about her prose is that it is much like breathing, like poetry, and flows ceaselessly with flawless transitions.

With Nat and J, we have two characters with depth and their own discernable styles, and in Anderson’s more than capable hands, they both shine through distinct yet realistic dialogue. Painting a vibrant picture with words, one can easily take in both Nat, J, and their surroundings as if watching their story unfold on screen.

To delve into the actual narrative would mean giving too much away. However, Anderson forgoes the pathetic trappings of formula and presents readers with a unique tale devoid of tropes. In fact, she creates an element of suspense, as well as intrigue, that rivals those found in crime thrillers and in horror novels. Better still, the reader bears witness to the tale as it takes shape because Anderson never tips her hand to telegraph what’s coming next.

The first person storytelling approach allows us to get deep inside the mind of Nat. We not only grasp her emotional state but what’s at risk for her. This certainly does not diminish J, who he is a person, and how he feels, because Anderson’s descriptions are insightful. We not see J through Nat’s eyes, but through his actions. All of this culminates in the author’s awareness of the five senses. Where some authors cling to sight and touch, Anderson includes smell, taste, and sound, almost at equal levels, which creates a full-blown reading experience of both depth and beauty.

One of the important elements to Anderson’s craftiness is that she does not forget the little details that resonate. Those little nuances add up to strong narrative that is full-bodied.

All of this amounts to a story where it is hard to discern exactly how J and Nat’s venture will end – and that makes for one exceptional reading experience.

On to the rest of this vibrant series…

ACTS OF CLOSURE by NT Anderson is the first in a contemporary romance-erotica series. The steamy scenes are superbly done, as are the hard-hitting intimate moments. This book is about second chances, the masks we wear, and the roads untaken. Though deliciously hot, raw, and spicy, there is a deep emotional undercurrent in addition to the physical fireworks, a whole body and soul attraction.

Jack and Natalie are incredible characters, fully realized and fleshed out. When Jack is a starving writer and Natalie is an exotic dancer, they meet online as internet strangers, then divulge their deepest secrets and desires through email. Years later, after success finds them both in writing and advertising, and after life choices have defined their divergent paths, Natalie decides they should meet in person. Out of the blue, she shows up at Jack’s doorstep as a surprise to test the simmering chemistry between them, to catch the one who got away, if only for one night.

It’s a gripping “what if?” situation where an online crush turns into a real-life opportunity. Jack and Natalie have fantasized about each other for so long, and their strong bond runs deep. I love how Anderson details all aspects of their relationship, from shared secrets to steamy sex and everything in between. Theirs is truly a well-rounded connection between two intelligent, talented characters. Psychological intuition and physical tension run throughout as they peel away the literal and emotional layers to reveal each other’s inner core.

It’s extremely well written, empowering, and contemplative with an impactful, immersive look at the risk and vulnerability that true intimacy entails. A highly captivating and compelling read. 5 stars.

I really love this book. It tells an unusual story of Natalie, a successful women in her own field, who for several years developed an intimate online relationship with Jack Perry, a well-known author whose books became some famous movies. In their emails, Jack and Natalie told each other their private thought and the most deep dark secret sexual craving and desires which no one knew. They had tried to make plans to meet but it never happened, life went on and eventually they lost touch. Natalie got married and had a son but she felt her life came to a stand still; she fell lost and invisible while Jack was still on her mind a lot. One day, she decided to meet him in person and to make all his secret desires come true.

The story stayed on my mind for a long time afterwards and not sure if I will ever forget it. I fell the story speak for a lot of women who had crushes and fantasies, which they wanted to see them come true, especially with a famous and sexy celebrity like Jack Perry in this book. The book is well-written with great characters and once reading, you do not want to stop. The author keeps you engage and you want to find out more what's going to happen on the next page. The whole book only tells what happened in one day, but so much happened at every minute that you do not want to miss it.

Did I tell you I love this book?

This is the first in a series as well as being a new author. This is Jack and Natalie’s story. These two were strangers who connected on the internet but never met, and now Natalie is eager to connect to Jack, as she has a nagging feeling about “what could have been.” This story is unveiled with flashback into the past and future. This is a well written, well-paced story about a poignant romance, redemption, with passion, emotions, and is a steamy all-consuming page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author and I recommend her work.

A Relatable Fantasy

Anyone who wished they had one shot at their long lost love or the one that got away will relish this story. A 24 hour love affair that is pure butterflies in your stomach, sweaty palms and enough heat that will have you reaching for that ice cold drink. I loved that Natalie and J had a previous pen pal type relationship on MySpace ten years prior but never met before. Their messages are sprinkled throughout this book, to give you a glimpse of this unique relationship. We all should be as brave as Natalie.
A bittersweet ending but luckily I have book two.

Ahhh the myspace days. This was a steamy read about a couple finally meeting years down the road after only conversing/flirting over myspace ten years prior. As someone who doesn't read a lot of straight-up romance, I found myself needing to know what would happen between J and Nat. I've even immediately picked up book 2 to continue the story. Enticing 'what if' story.
