I really relate to the MMC in the book we share something’s in common.. Good back and fourth with the 2 Main characters in the book.. If you like a story that feels like real life here’s your story..
Traci had the world at her fingertips. She had a booming business that was taking off and set to marry the love of her life in the coming months! However her world came crashing down when she walked in on her fiancé and her assistant in a compromising situation and to say she was devastated is an understatement.
Looking for an escape, she uses a work trip to Jamaica to clear her mind and start fresh! She indulges in island activities and even gets some ire peen while there. What happened in Jamaica doesn’t stay there however because she soon realizes that the man she shared a bed with just so happens to be the man she’s partnering with in her business.
Refusing to blur the lines, Traci is at a crossroads and not sure if she’s willing to take a gamble with her heart again only to lose even more the second time around!
This book had a lot of potential and the foundation was pretty solid however there was wayyyy too much going on in these 115 pages. We had infidelity, multiple side babies, DNA tests, drug addicted parents, death, relationship drama, audacity, a runner and a track star because she definitely ran away when it got hard. I mean there was sooo much going on that you couldn’t enjoy what was happening in the story because the story had to keep moving forward in order to resolve all of the conflict.
The book could have benefited from editing both grammatical and as far as the storyline itself. This was an older book by the authors so I’ll definitely read something more recent to see if there has been growth over the years. That will determine if she stays in rotation or not.

A beautiful love story. You know anything that goes good will eventually have obstacles and it's what you do with it. Jay and Tracy meet in Jamaica on a business trip, and after a hot juicy night of togetherness, they both show up for the meeting not knowing they have to work together. Traci, although away in Jamaica for a business trip, she just wanted to unwind and get her mind right after dealing with the break up of her cheating ex. She is approached at the bar by the sexy tall Jay and he asks her for a dance. Jay hasn't been in a relationship in a while. Two people with pent up sexual energies... You know what's about to go down. Back in LA, the obstacles start coming. Just when you say love don't live here no more, love will come and interrupt. Highly recommended
She was in need of a mam that would make her believe in love again. Who knew that she would find her forever love from a one night stand. She started out in a relationship with a lover. A loser that she was going to marry within the year. Due to circumstances, she dropped him & within 24 hours in another country had a one night stand with someone who would make her believe in love again, no matter how much she fought that emotion.
Traci, trying to get over an ex met Jay, who was on a business trip in Jamaica. Their dancing led to a night to remember. They both went their separate ways thinking they wouldn't see each other again until they did. If you like romance this is for you. Great debut novel by this author.
Dria Bond’s first novel is a hit. Traci Carter lives her life being in control of everything. When Joseph Banks enters her life, Traci realizes she doesn’t have as much control as she thought she did. A must-read to find out if Joseph and Traci can get on the same page and give love a chance.
