This was brilliant, I did not know what to expect, but the book was action packed from start to finish. I really like Sullivan as a character and I hope we learn more about him soon.

It’s ok…ish….

Well four stars might be a bit much for a book that requires Zen in the Art of ‘suspension of disbelief’.
I mean come on…
Could be wrong but I believe is mentioned in all three current ‘John Wick’ films???
“He once killed three men in a bar with a pencil…”
The premise is similar here, an assassin that has distain for firearms, which is interesting as is the protagonist, as is the back story.
A bit hit and miss and sketchy here and there but generally a good read.
If it were more polished would be right up there.
Will read any following as, well, you need to give things a chance. Good enough (for now) an enjoyable read.
Many better books but maybe have a look???

Wow!! Unputdownable, this is the first book I have read by this author. Absolutely brilliant, it has all you want in a thriller. Excellently written and flowed from one page to the next. Unbelievably fast paced I couldn't turn the pages quick enough. Some unexpected twists and turns which I didn't expect.

Cracking book looking forward to more from this author. Only down side is I have to wait for the next book to see what new adventure lie for Jay Sullivan.

This book is a great way to be introduced to a great new character. Jay Sullivan is an assassin at the top of his game until a mix up changes everything. So much happens in this novel. There is a lot of action from both sides of the group. I do not normally read this genre but I found myself becoming totally involved in the story. Now I am looking forward to seeing where this author takes this character.

This was a really good book. In the beginning I was reading a little slower trying to keep up with the plot since it was in another country. It was somewhat slow at first, but it was always intrigueing. In the middle it picked up, and there was a lot of action from that point on until the end of the book. I have to say; I was not expecting the ending at all. I would recommend this book if you enjoy this type of reading.

Once an assassin....

Sullivan is part of an elite group of hitmen. A snafu on one of his assignments caused a ripple effect that resulted in a price on his head and the kidnapping of his twelve year old daughter. Will he ever see her again?

Great Read

I really need the character, the plot, the story. I read the book non-stop, I couldn’t put the book down. I hope that the author has written more like this one, I am hungry to find and start another.

I think I liked this, it was a bit grim at times, the plot that is. It's more dark than many similar books. I'm going on to book 2 to see where it takes us and if the issues at the end get resolved.

Not a bad read. Somewhat unbelievable, based on character. It was reminiscent of the Jason Borne series.

This intriguing story centers on one of the world's best assassins who has lost his daughter, then reason for living as his search for her fails repeatedly over the years. Suddenly, he finds clues that might lead him to her, if he can find his way out of the bottle and become at least part of what he used to be. The world view portrayed is a grim one where contractors are hired to kill other people, some of whom are clearly unsavory. Still, you will find yourself cheering on the main character in the hope that he triumphs against all odds while hoping he is one of the good guys!

First time of reading, and I loved this writer!

The story fairly pulsed along, with great twists and turns, enough to delight the most ardent roller coaster devotee!

The Jay Sullivan character, and supporting cast, all brought the story to life, and made for a throughly enjoyable read.

I would highly recommend this writer, as you might tell by how quickly I read this story.
