Impressive Word Search Puzzles!

I've done word searches for decades and have reviewed a fair number of word search books, so it takes a lot to impress me. I have to say that this book is one of the few that has. While it has a few words that aren't quite right for the themes (is “accompaniment” Basic English?), I was thrilled to see that even though this is a large-print word search puzzle book, each puzzle had a huge 20 x 15 letter grid and 40 words to search for! So many words search books I see these days only have 10 or 20 words to find. When I was a kid, each word search puzzle had at least 25 words to look for. This is the only word search book I've seen in recent years that has so many words to look for in every puzzle. Very cool! As stated above, each puzzle is themed, like about specific countries or the arts. To really challenge yourself, you'll find a few in foreign languages like Norwegian, Portuguese, and even some using the Russian Cyrillic alphabet! I like the way the solutions are formatted, with each word circled in the full letter grid. Too many word search books just show the letters included in the words, not showing which letters go with which word. With so many puzzles that have so many words, this book will provide days’ worth of delight!

This is full of word searches with different topics. There is a variety of different words with each puzzle for example we have adjectives, animals, geography. These puzzles are fun and have many words to find in each puzzle. There is an answer key which is always nice. Word searches are one of my favorites. This book will keep you occupied for some time. Great collection of puzzles.

A great collection of word search puzzles with a wide assortment of themes. I found some of the words quite weird, for example, the word in Spanish “land” and “desmanchar”. I’m sorry but those words are not Spanish. I have looked them up just in case and they don’t exist in my language.
All in all, it is a good exercise for the eyes, concentration and memory.

There are answer keys at the end in case you are stumped by any of the words. This Large Print book is easy to see and contains 300 puzzles. This is very good for memory and concentration to help keep your mind sharp. This is a fun stress reliever to have on hand. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout.
