How Not to Arrange a Mail Order Bride Situation
Two friends decided they were ready to marry but the selection of eligible brides in their location in Wyoming was slim to none. They found a Mail Order Bride catalog in the nearby town and selected brides. They wrote to the chosen brides and offered the chance of marriage. The young ladies met on the train from Tennessee to Wyoming and happily compared notes. They were happy to be going to the same town.
The young men decided to protect the young ladies by providing housing for his friends bride to be. This ended causing problems because the men worked long hours in their family ranches and had little time to visit the other ranch to be with their brides-to-be. The girls fell in love with the rancher each was staying with rather than the one they had pledged to marry.
Read this book to learn how they solved this situation. I really enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more books by Elaine Shields.

A fascinating story.
When she answered the ad for a bride what happens was not what she expected. Now Ruth will be faced with a choice to make. When two friends send away for brides but fate seems to have plans for not just one couple both are going to be affected. This was a fascinating story I loved how the author weaved it all together. This book was well–written and just full of drama, love, with a touch of action and excitement. I was impressed with this story. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Another well written mail order bride story with a cast of strong characters and an entertaining story line. The author once again does a beautiful job taking you back to the day with her detailed and descriptive scenes. She brings an exciting story filled with tons of emotions and throws in just enough twists and turns and kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. She moves the story fluidly and delivers a great historical western romance. I loved and would highly recommend reading.

A new start at a better life
Two new couples have to find a way to get to know each other. Ruth needed to get away from her family as she didn't want the same life for herself. But now that she has met her soon to be husband she realises that she has feelings for his best friend. And there is nothing that she can do about it as she promised to marry Jesse. But knowing that she will have to leave Kit & the new place that feels like home she is lost. Kit knows that Ruth isn't his not matter how much he wishes that she was going to be his bride.
Jesse & Stella have been getting on too well and they are also don't know what to do about their feelings for each other.Will they find a way out of this mess and be with the one that they love?
A good read.

Two best friend grooms-to-be picking out mail order brides for each other, what could possibly go wrong with that? Elaine Shields proves quite a lot. This story has more that a few twists and turns. I fell in love with the characters and think we’d all do well to have families and best friends like these, well, at least some of them.

Clean romance
I enjoyed reading this clean romance story. The interplay with the jealous sister was well played. The book was very detailed with clothing and nonessential information, but that's what my wife likes, so each to their own. I recommend this book for the young adult reader.

Historical western romance
I really enjoyed the story. Very very disappointed that I could not read the extended epilogue. The link did not work. Very disappointed they are NOT part of the original story!! This is not the first time this had happened.

Another good story Elaine. I really like that these 2 best friends decided to send for mail order brides together. They all went through so much in their lives. Ruth was my favorite character and I can say that I didn’t really care for Stella until later in the story. A good one to read.
