Rate this book
A mole in the highest levels of the FBI…A possible security break-in at the facilities of a major United States defense contractor leads to the revelation that a mole might exist in the highest management levels of the FBI. Jennifer, a former NYPD homicide detective and now head of her own investigative company, J&J Investigations in New Jersey, and her partner, Doug, a Ph.D. computer scientist from Stanford, and co-founder of a major software company in Silicon Valley, are hired by FBI Director Finley, based upon their reputations and previous investigative success, to uncover the mole. The Director is reluctant to use FBI personnel for fear that the investigation will be discovered by the mole and he will quit operating.Jennifer and Doug accept the challenge, temporarily moving from Pawleys Island, South Carolina to Washington, D.C., where they find the investigation leads to a larger conspiracy than originally anticipated.
