"These two gallant ladies open up a dark subject in order for all females to learn the difference between love and abuse. Females can heal their heart, mind, and body. They can look for healthy relationships and they can find love once again." ~ Next Generation Indie Book Awards Judge

As a child, Kayla Hayes was sexually abused by her grandfather. She experienced unhealed hurts and low self worth. As a teenager, she got into a relationship and he became abusive and bit off 85% of her lip. While healing, Kayla made the decision to rise—and wear her scars as wings. She partnered with author Alisa Divine, to tell her story and provide this handbook for healing.

There are a lot of grammatical errors in the book that drove me crazy. I'd like to see her have this reviewed by a professional editor and re-publish it.
