Incredibly crunchy, like getting a degree in Math. But that’s mainly because the numbers are...epic.

Huge fights, massive destruction, interesting minor characters, and awesome skill leveling. Solid character development for the MC and good plot movement.

Glad I bought it. More please?

Author progression I am impressed

I find it rare to find an author progress their skills through a series . I enjoyed the first few books but found some of the dialogue childish and upon opening this book I imagined much of the pages to be eaten away by skills and empty narrative but I was wrong this story is fantastic and I really look forward to the next book !!

Excellent

After 3-4 books in some series I start to lose interest. Have no fear it only gets better from here.

Wow...so good...makes my top 10 LITRPG

Such a good book! So rare to find characters with personalities that distinguish them, that stay true to their characters. So rare to find a book with harsh realities that doesn't have excessive swearing, sex, and political agenda's. And then, to top it off it's a nice LONG story with massive plot progression and character development, an excellent character development system, and an interestingly unique world!

I HIGHLY recommend this series to anyone who enjoys fantasy, LITRPG, and even Sci-Fi (not really any sci-fi but I think it's different enough from normal fantasy to interest people who normally are "meh" about fantasy novels).

This book has no swearing I can remember, no gratuitous sex scenes, no harems, and no political leanings either left or right. It's just a great story done in the LITRPG fashion ( lots of numbers, character sheets, and mechanics to quantify and explain things as if they were a video game )

There's even a little romance and a main character whom I can respect who isn't perfect.

Great job Apollos Thorne, this series is now vying for the position of "favorite series" I've read!

Great follow-up to an already fantastic series.

I am not the biggest fan of tournament arcs as they tend to focus too much on other people so that detracted a bit from the book; but I liked the new cast of characters that were introduced and hope to see more of them going forward.

We continue to experience more of the world underneath ours and I love everything that Thorne has shown us of different species cultures, lives, and worlds.

The power scales keep getting bigger and bigger I am totally on board the expansiveness of it all. This was both the end of an arc and the beginning of another and foreshadowing for the future speaks of something great for those at Sanctuary.

This has been the best so far and am eagerly awaiting the next book.

Another phenomenal addition to my favourite series!

Mr Thorne has done it again with this book. The characters both developed and introduced are believable with the power scales adjusting appropriately to the previous stories.

However the best section of this book is the world building, developing the underworld from a dangerous world into a developed and sophisticated world that is still terrifyingly dangerous!

***MINOR SPOILER***

My only gripe is the way in which Elorion spends master level orbs, I feel that his spending could cause the local economy to collapse!

A great LitRPG tale

I've really enjoyed this series so far. I like that while Elorion is powerful, he is pushed all the time, and not just one hitting Everything. I found entry in the series to be fun, but with a healthy dose of moral quandary. Is it indeed acceptable to destroy entire towns of vampire, simply because one can? What happens when some vampires are shown to be good souls, despite their abusive culture? Will we get to see suck jokes? Its worth reading to find out.

Amazing

Another amazing book to continue on the series. I literally had to force myself to put the book down or I'd have never slept and would have missed work. Kept me reading until the very end. Great ending to the current arc and leaves you desiring the next book to come out asap so the story continues and we can see the continuing development of Elorion and Aeris and everyone in Sanctuary.

Best of the series so far

This has to be the best of the series, by far. The first ones do have a nice cadence to the story, but seemed like middle school children playing an rpg. This one has more emotion and a thought out process. It shows that love isn't a single emotion and that can be felt to only one person.
The action in this book is a lot better than just overpowering a fireball. It is like this MC grew up really fast and became an adult in one book. I am looking forward to the next one to see if Thorne builds on this.

4,5 stars.

Easily the best book in the series so far , i wasn't expecting this level of awesomeness for real, the plot was tight, the writing was flowing, the progression of the main character whether be it emotional or physical was cool , the action scenes were outstanding and very satisfying, the side characters were interesting .... it's a nice feeling when something exceed your expectation.

Best book in the series yet. The beginning was not the best, but it quickly ramped up. Multiple times I was left going 'What? Huh? How? Did that...?" I mean, this book was wild. Things can't be the same after this. Not possible. Our hero....is he still a hero? I guess? I don't even know anymore. It's great. This book could have ended multiple times and been great, but it kept going and just got better.

He’s done it again!

Dunno how he keeps churning out one great book after another but it just keeps happening! The story progression with its aspects of action, suspense emotion thrown around kept me hooked to the point I couldn’t physically put it down! (Hopefully my job doesn’t see this post lol) 10/10 am recommending this to everyone/anyone into LitRPG style writing!

Best book in the series

It hard to write a review as I don’t want to give any information about this great story out before anyone reads it. Getting to see the larger underworld was awesome. Seeing that not everyone was a monster that was just out for themselves gave the story much needed depth.

Best one yet

I love the depths of emotion this book showed in the characters. I was worried for a while that there was no way this book would end well with all the craziness going on, but I loved the way it got all tied together at the end. This book definitely has me looking at the whole series in a new light.

Unreal

This series just goes from strength to strength. I always drop whatever I'm reading when a new one is released, and I'm never once disappointed. Probably my favorite book series ever, and I've read several hundred at this point.

Love this series

Such a great series and I'm enjoying the power scaling and the constant character development. I can't wait to see how things progress or what the matriarchs have planned for the group and what this new area the lich wants to bring elorion for training. Can't wait or the next book. Write faster Apollos! Lol
