Dracix
I feel a great love, and I know what will set my beloved's heart free. A life with me would never be enough while he remains captive. If I wish to declare and prove my love to him, I must do it by setting him free. With my military position and the backing of others within the rebellion, I have a plan to get him home and expose my people and our crimes to the rest of the galaxy. I know I will be seen as the enemy, but as long as he knows the truth and the evil stopped, I can die a happy male.

For love, honor, and justice!

Leona is a longtime staunch supporter of human rights and environmental causes. Her favourite genre to read is M/M fiction and she particularly enjoys science fiction, fantasy, and action/suspense subgenres—especially if they have a nice seasoning of romance. She has far too many books on her Kindle, has overloaded her phone with even more and, when not reading, writing, being driven to distraction by her children, or being overlorded by her three cats, can be found trying to locate the portal that the sock monster uses to steal socks from her dryer.

Dracix fought against his mating instincts to complete his mission and freeing his captive mate. I liked Dracix; he was willing to do whatever it took to save Paul even if it meant, Paul would hate him in the end.

There were parts of the story that felt rushed especially, the ending. It would have been nice to see a deeper emotional connection between Paul and Dracix. Their bond wasn’t fully developed.

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review.  Space privacy at its finest, only with a rebal group going against the grain to right a wrong. Dracix is only doing what he feels is right but once Paul, mate is found their could only be one outcome. Just loved how Dracix senses is missed up at first meet Paul. Just loved all the characters it was such an entertaining read of captive and guards bickering at each other.

Queer sci fi romance. Interesting premise but limited emotional engagement between the main couple.
