They Got Out: A Sci-Fi and Horror Collection By C. A. Gleason I loved these weird and creepy stories! Quite the variety. A granny that protects herself from headless zombies, giant spiders take over the world, a little girl that is possessed by a shadow demon, and more. My favorite was a guy that is taken into an alternative plane with horrible monsters on occasions and he has to find a way for it to stop before they find a way into our plane. All stories were definitely a 5 ⭐ or close to it!
Meh, there are some good ideas here but nothing really feels fleshed out, which is unfortunate because i was intrigued especially by Pending and then it was just over before i could really care about anything that happened
This collection of horror/science fiction short stories was surprisingly good. There were a couple of the really short tales that were over almost before they got started, ending abruptly and leaving the reader asking, "Wait, was that it?" But several of the longer ones really got your attention. Lots of dark humor and creative scenarios. The one about the old woman with dementia in a nursing home overrun with ... something... was my favorite.
Gleason's collection features eight engaging stories catering to various tastes. Each tale showcases a remarkable level of creativity, ranging from a unique zombie outbreak in a nursing home to an intriguing plague of rage on a distant planet. Readers will surely enjoy the imaginative scenarios presented throughout the collection.
A collection of short horror stories written by author, C.A.Gleason. Out of the 8 stories in this collection I personally found 4 to be fun and memorable. That does not mean that the other 4 stories in this book aren’t worth your time, not at all!! It means exactly what it says ‘personally found memorable.’ In other words, they are all I can literally remember. That’s probably because I’ve got too many books going at the same time. But hey, 50% rating isn’t bad for an anthology. For me the book was well worth the cost on these 4 stories alone!! All 4 stories 5⭐️ overall rating 4⭐️
Hammock Spiders World Savin’ Granny The Hatred Summer Winter Salvage
A collection of horror and science fiction themed short stories with little substance. The last two entries had potential but were poorly developed and the final story in particular, was a little on the slow side.
