The NIV Radiant Virtues Bible is a gorgeous, verse-art-filled Bible which is a joy to use. I received the pink cloth-over-board hardback version, which comes in a light cardboard slipcase. The cover art is a golden starburst of radiating lines, with the title "Radiant Virtues" at the upper right corner. That's just a hint of the beauty you'll find inside, though. This Bible, and everything in it, is based on the familiar virtues mentioned in 1 Corinthians 13:13--faith, hope, and love.

There are lots of helps for the reader, ranging from 4 Bible reading guides, a 12-month blank calendar, 52 devotionals, journaling spaces, and highlighted verses that are color-coded (blue for faith, yellow for hope, and pink for love). And there's so much beauty throughout, whether it's the Bible's verses themselves, full-color art on sidebars, glossy bookmarks and postcards at the end, or the coloring pages for the reader that are interspersed through the Bible.

I've used this Bible during sermons, Bible studies, and in my own devotional reading times. I've so enjoyed the art and color, and the coloring pages. Also, I've loved the color-coding over the uses of faith, hope, and love throughout the Bible. These have drawn my attention again and again to those virtues, whether they're reminders for me personally to strive for or those of God's care for humans. What an encouragement. I've loved this and look forward to engaging with it more!
