This book is the end of the Broken Trilogy and the end of this book is the start of the Golden Series!
Warning: This werewolf trilogy is not intended for anyone under the age of 18 or anyone who doesn't enjoy a good spanking. It will take you on adventures around the world, make you laugh, fall in love, crush your heart and possibly leave you drooling. Side effects can only be cured by reading the next book in the Golden Series Spin Off Coming this Spring 2021.
This started out great, but why kill the hero it was unnecessary. I believe it was just done for shock value, however I feel it ruined the story. Not sure if I will read about Cassie.
This was certainly a beautiful love story but it was tarnished at the end by killing off Lukas. I really hate unhappy endings. I do not think I will be reading any more of this Authors books.
The whole book makes no sense. Not a love story!! The author needs to do a better job in descriptions as this was set up as HEA but it is not.
A male lead - Alpha of Alphas - that wants nothing to do do with his kind - he doesn't want to lead a pack or be involved with any pack related affairs. However, he has no problem living lavishly with a chosen mate - the typical ugly on inside but beautiful on outside female. Important to note that both he and his wolf accepted Ms. Ugly Personality as their mate. When he meets his true mate - a slave, living in a horse barn bruised and starved he doesn't want her and he curses the moongoodess for giving him such a mate. Whose slave is she? Ms. Ugly Personality's!! Fast forward to him meeting his mate again but now fully accepting her without ZERO character development they magically fall in love on the spot. Fast forward again them eating, and exploring cities and having unprotected sex bc let's be honest the female leads in this trilogy have no other purpose but to be teenage baby machines. Alpha of Alphas takes a "potion" to free his mate's wolf but ends up duying because it was actually a poision. You might think that it was a selfless move on his part to free his mate's wolf but it is not. He was going to ask his uncle Ryder (from book 1) to take another potion to free his wolf by trapping Uncle Ryder's wolf. No he didn't ask him in advance he assumed uncle Ryder doesn't need his wolf! Why would he assume such a thing well because he is a spoiled rich 30 +year old boy! The best part is that he died like a coward he was...he did nothing to better or protect his kind. I feel sorry for his mate that has to endure more pain though. Years later she got a new mate/love interest though, right? Nope.... before he died he pointed to stars to show her his favorite star. Well it is Cassiopeia an arrogant and vain goddess that sounds just like his first chosen mate.... nothing romantic about this book or the male lead....
What is the purpose of this trilogy?? So 3 books: you have God descendants and wolfs with super powers and Alpha of Alpha but they have not done one thing to better their kind just their own pockets. Slavery is normal and rampant as ever. Alpha of Alpha's talks about visiting a slave market to buy his slave mate and his family talk about slavery casually over lunch and breakfast .... and a little growl from mama wolf means she hates it so much and she needs to go to a spa and forget all about that!
What a wasted ending. The author recycled book one storyline except this was worst since the jerk h was with another mean other women choosing her as mate and flat out denied his malnourished mate. Don't get the h could be okay with heroine being treated as slave and abused when his mother was one.
The slave, abused, beaten heroine, and jerky h choosing another women as mate was already been used and overdone on book one. I couldn't stand the h since he was like his jerky uncle. What a wasted way to end the series...with a poor jerky h and again slavery. I gave up after the slave ran away faint and is taken or is probably going to sold or raped again the same plotline from book two.b Book two was the best one but one and this one had an unoriginal storyline was the worst. Annoyingly and unoriginal with awful h. Don't recommend this repetitive slave abuse and unlikable h. DNF..
The first two books in this series were great but this book started slow got better but then the ending was awful. I don’t want to spoil it for those who haven’t read it yet but wow what can I say. The book had like 5 pages left and I was thinking there is no way this is going to end it must be a cliffhanger. But noooo it was like the author gave up and just said f**** it I just want it over. So disappointed on this, I had plans to read the next series but now I will pass.
I'm not happy with the ending of this book. To have every other one end in HEA, but the last one not? It is an ok book otherwise. I feel like it was thrown together and not as good as the first two. The female lead just submits too easily and it doesn't follow how strong the previous ones have been. Very disappointed in this one for more than just the ending.
Recycle of the first book and the worst ending. Complete let down to the rest of the series. Needed way more development and a new plot. The ending was completely avoidable and a stupid way to wrap up the book.
This book starts out with a bang, nothing like an occasion and a new pack to grab your interest. We meet Sybil Martin, a pack slave at Sapphire Moon pack. This book comes full circle from the first one, and once again, we are introduced to a pack broken by hatred, except Sybil hasn't shifted yet. This book starts in the mountains of New York. This book is from a dual point of view, jumping from Sybil to Lukas. This book is cruel. I feel so awful for Sybil, and, of course, I really wish the worst to Alpha Jaxson. I might have missed it, but we don't find out her mother's name. We do know she is from the Blue Mountain pack. But, then, in a time of the most need, we find out Syble is elemental as well. This book is action-packed from the beginning. It doesn't slow down as you get more in it. Wow, Syble really defeats the odds in this book. I love her wolf, encouraging her she finally hears it. This book is a whirlwind of activity, and Sybil gets new abilities very fast. This book gets more romantic and steamy as it progresses. Like all of the books, as soon as you think things will settle and be expected, the author twists the plot adding mystery and intrigue. Now the characters must figure out the puzzle of Sybils' inability to shift .once the mystery is solved, this book is heartbreaking. Not a happy ending. Definitely have your tissues ready. I love this story, even though it has to be my least favorite. This book is a whirlwind of emotions, romance, and disasters. The author is fantastic at connecting the reader to the characters and story. You feel everything in the book, from happiness to loss and everything in between. This book is all about life, love, and sacrifice. This book is unlike anything I've ever read one second, I'm in shock, and the next, I'm rooting for the romance and then quickly trying to finish the book and not cry. Sybils' character is sassy, funny, and relatable. I love how she develops their personality as they go through the book. The epilogue really helped end this book for me and not leave me with a complete cliffhanger.
Why would he think any “punishment” as play would be ok with such a traumatized character? That felt SO insensitive and needed a lot more careful time before it should have been brought into the bedroom… he left her a prisoner tied up overnight alone without protection… that’s so not ok. Especially, when we still knew people were trying to kill her and following them. It was a missed opportunity for redemption maybe…
*** major spoilers ***
Not all stories need a HEA, and I felt like the author was going that direction pretty early on but it was too late in the story. The other main characters should be able to really stand on their own and be more integrated or your left feeling lost. The epilogue felt like a forced attempt to circle back but the character had been SO damaged it felt like a fake front. Kids don’t magically make everything else disappear, I hate the cop-out when that’s thrown in last minute to fix everything especially when the parent left is so young, inexperienced in life, and so traumatized. And omg, no one really TRIED much to do anything for him… Also it seemed really unrealistic for them to blindly assume it was safe without having a lab run tests or something (I mean they were mega wealthy it would have been easy)… they were already leery of mages.

Read the 3 books all good but endings are to abrupt. It dont flow feels there should be more to it. I.ve read hundreds of thousands of books. I read numerous ones a day and in all honestly these 3 disappoint me because the endings dont feel finished. It just ends there . Even when I read series that are all follow on they have a ending that makes sense a ending that feels like saying ahh that's good can't wait to read next one. But your endings my me feel I.m not sure I want to read another because I.m already thinking how disappointing the end will be. It needs more . And yeah lukas dying that hurt didnt expect that. He died and you jumped to 8yrs later no grieving or anything. That could of made the ending extra special the grief and pain then giving birth ect.
Can't believe the sad end. Unbelievable. It ends with the Omega story but it doesn't end with the prophecy so you'll have to start the series (there are 2 books published so far, I'm not sure if there will be another on). I really like how fearsome and strong Syble is, her story is similar to Lucy and Lukas end up being a really cute. I like how the stories come together. I really like the book, but I also thought it felt a little rushed and I still don't get the end (he really had to die!? Out of nothing, she kills the enemy, breaks her curse, bad guy appears out of thin air and dies but not before Lukas can live!? oh come on, seriously!? The end felt rushed and so unnecessarily sad.)

Loved the first 2 books, but this one was terrible, why kill Luckas. As this started out as a beautiful love story in which they continue their with the birth of their pup. A better ending would have been once Magnus appeared, his eyes changed to the emerald and Sybil realized he's the one from when she was a child. Then Magnus tried to use his powers to kill Luckas by forcing him to drink the potion before he drinks, the danger triggers Sybil to defend her mate by pulling the air out of Magnus, killing him. Something like this would have been a ending to what started out as a beautiful love story
What an amazing series! I loved the characters the stories are beautifully written and the emotions are so real. Iv cried and laughed reading these books but broken omega was the most heart breaking book iv read and it shows not every book needs a happily ever after but out of something tragic something good can come of it. Lukas and luke where hero's and sacrificed their life for the love if his life just a shame there wasn't any special power in syble to bring him back. Looking forward to next set of series
Not my favourite in the trilogy, but still a good read. I felt it dragged at times and some of the much needed angst was played down. From having read other reviews it appears that the shock ending hasn't gone down well. I on the other hand loved it! Like Storm, I was yip yip yipping. So happy to read an author who isn't afraid to twist things up a bit and create feelings in her readers. Whether they made you mad, glad or sad.... she made you feel!
Time to go and read, Golden Prophecy. I'm hoping to find out what the mystery is concerning syble's Gran's past.
STAR CROSSED LOVERS. It's called the broken trilogy for a reason. If you need a happily ever after, this is NOT the book for you. It's a book about love and sacrifice. If you can handle a tragic love story, grab a box of tissues and read. It will make you laugh and cry while taking you on an adventure. I love how this author always makes me feel like I'm in the city or country this takes place in.
Syble is a broken and abused omega who is waiting to be saved. Lukas is an Alpha who lost hope looking for his mate. They found each other. How cute is that. Her story is so sad and sweet. He is so good with her. I love is when Lukas calls her "little mouse". Their love story is heartbreaking and beautiful. I laughed so much and I cried. The action is this was interesting. The ending shocked me. I really enjoyed this.
XXX! Adult content, reader discretion advised. Sylbe was sacrificed as the pack slave when a rouge attack killed the pack Luna and her father failed to prevent her death. Lukas was willing to sacrifice a fates mate connection to be with a she-wolf he fell in love with. Later he was willing to sacrifice his wolf for his mate and pup. He sacrificed more than he bargained for.
Until the ending. She went through years of abuse. Starving and living with torn clothes. She was beaten while she ate dude. Then after all that.. she finds her mate and it take a bit for him to care enough. Then the fighting and curse. So much drama.. just for that ending? For her to not have a happy ending? For her to care for their child alone.. when all she ever wanted was to be at peace? Naw. It's a 2.
This whole series was amazing, for the first time in months I not only finished reading a book without stopping half way through due to boredom but I binged all 3 books in a matter of days. Gotta say tho, you did me dirty with the ending of this one. I’m still upset about it. To say my heart broke is an understatement.
