My SO wants to start investing and since we've heard mixed things about penny stocks, this guide seemed worth a look. There is enough information in here for you to grasp what this kind of investing entails and to get a sense for whether or not it might be a good fit for you. Complicated things are explained pretty clearly and we learned a lot from this book. There's some practical guidance on how to choose and a variety of ways you can analyze worth. Plus, the author shares some good things to bear in mind as well as some tips.
We wish that when the author stated there was software available to help that he would've shared the names of some good ones to look into. Same thing goes with brokerage houses, investment personalities and penny stock and investment sites. An exhaustive list isn't necessary, but some to help you get started would help you sift through the choices. Since it is a quick start guide, we were hoping that there'd be some recommendations on where to go after reading the book if you decide penny stocks are for you.
Overall I'm glad we read the book. My SO is still open to penny stocks, but now he's going to have to look for the software to check for pricing, features, and customer reviews, try the paper trading recommended and to see if he can find a broker he can trust. He's still somewhat overwhelmed, but at least now he understands concepts, terminology, tactics and strategy more than he did before we went through the book. I got this at a free or discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. If you're completely new to this world of trading, this book can help you understand what's going on.

Got this book because I want to learn on how to make money on the side. This book is a good investment for a beginner and will help you get started on the right foot by providing all the information from all the aspects of the stocks in order to inform you which ones are the best to invest in. The author gave on how to start investing, so if you are a beginner investor, you will find it very useful and beneficial. It touches on stock trading, mutual funds, excellent money management tips and highlights the importance of gradual income growth and wealth building.
The basics of this concept was introduced to me by this book and how my small amount can actually turn into something if invested rightfully but of course there are risk to take which was highly reminded to me by the author. This book shows the opposite of that, giving great advice on low investment stock trading.
Although I got this product at a discount or received a complimentary sample in exchange for my honest review, all thoughts and opinions on the products I review are always my own and have not been influenced by any discounts or samples which may have been provided to me.
