This is the book my father, Bill Morris, wrote about my grandfather, Charles E. Morris, who was a cowboy photographer in Montana at the turn of the century. It contains over 100 photographs of cowboys, cattle, sheep, Native Americans, and the open range with no fences. It is a work of art, a family memoir, and a piece of American history, from a Montanan's viewpoint.
