The Order of the Black Silk 2: The Coming of War, is an excellent second installment in the Order of the Black Silk series. As readers, we are all familiar with the idea of the embodiment of Death as a physical being. But Richardson takes this idea light years further and asks herself...What would it be like if not only Death were a physical being, but what about Pestilence, Famine and War? And the result is just genius. Brilliant premise and execution with Battle scenes that can only be described as Tolkienesque, Richardson’s novel is a must-read.
