Dragon's Daughter #4

Dragon Fire and Pixie Dust

Rate this book
Pixies are disappearing, and not in a good way.

The flighty little creatures are made of pure magic, making them both extremely powerful and vulnerable. For a mage with the right knowledge can capture and drain them, becoming a wizard of near-godlike power in the process.

It’s happened before, and it’s happening again.

But no one will believe the pixies.

That same flighty reputation means nobody is taking the abductions seriously — except Kylara Diamantine, the only mage who can transform into a dragon. When a pixie comes to her for help, Ky risks everything to bring the missing pixies home.

But why do they keep calling her the ‘big pixie’, anyway? Ky doesn’t mind, but it has her worried…

Wonderful story.

The story truly expands the universe these stories are based in. KY learns that here ability to open gates to and from the Pixie realm is give her a new power. To actually become a Pixie. Of course a new power needs a new villain. An ugly mage with ideas of becoming a world running Wizard. All of Ky's talents with help from her friends are required to save the day

Good series

Kylara and her friends have another adventure and another mystery to solve. The pixies are in trouble and the friends need to figure out how to help them. There is lots of action, snark and fun in this book and the gang learns how to work even better together. I am looking forward to the next book to see what other trouble they get into.

*Bk 4 "Dragon's Daughter" Series*

This is solid young adult series..the lead character is a female but I would suggested for middle school boys as well. Dystopia were Dragons-Mages-Humans-pixies live together. Setting is a Dragon/Mage School. Fighting-love-mystery..Great.

Nice!

New antagonist! New powers! Fun stuff!

Getting more PoVs is always fun to me and especially from allies. It is also funny how completely oblivious Kylara is to the boys who are crushing on her. I've enjoyed these last two books more and find it nice that while the fate of the world may still weigh in the balance, I don't feel best by doom and gloom.

Kylara and her friends are learning more about life and about working as a team. We see a new adversary, and lots of action. This is a great series, and it seems each story is better than the one before.

Lovely

Love the pixies. This is an amazing story, very well written. I love the way the kids get around the obstacles to leave school. They are very resourceful in their fight and truly support one another. Looking forward to the next story.

Lighthearted & Evil

Slavery of Mages has now went to pixies but this is more of a bonding experience between each race and discovery of each other and everyones capabilities making this a bit different than the rest of the series.
