About the author

Deborah Jacobs is a publisher and poet living in Nisswa, Minnesota. She has been a literature professor, a restaurateur, an arts administrator, a long-term caregiver, and a professional singer. In October 2018, she founded Danielle Dufy Literary, dedicated to celebrating and promoting short-form literature—poems, short(!) fiction, essayettes, and more. Under the imprint, French Press Editions (“portable, affordable, collectible literature”), she publishes the quarterly anthology, Stone Gathering: A Reader.
