A riveting standalone romance from the New York Times bestselling author Sandi Lynn.EverlyI lived my life as low key as possible. My childhood wasn’t easy, and relationships never worked out, so I stopped trying. I accepted that I would likely grow old alone and was okay with that. The more men got to know me, the faster they ran. Then I met Asher Remington under unusual circumstances. For him, it was unusual, but for me, it was the norm.I was sent to New York to convince him not to go through with a merger that would destroy him and the company his father had worked so hard to build. He thought I was crazy until he discovered the truth. My job was complete, and I needed to forget about him. But after spending one beautiful night together, it became impossible. The more time we spent together, the harder I fell. He was living in the shadow of a lie. Only he didn’t know it. If we were to have a chance together, he needed to know the truth and put the past to rest.AsherEverly King was crazy. She was the craziest yet most beautiful woman I’d ever seen. We met under very unusual circumstances. She saved me from making what would have been the most destructive decision of my life. I owed her. After spending one night with her, I craved more.Even though things about her frightened me, I didn’t want to stop seeing her. Then I let my guard down, and feelings emerged. I couldn’t allow it, and I needed to stick by the decision I’d made several years ago after an incident determined the course of my life. I needed to forget about her and let her go. There was no “us,” and there never would be. The problem was the fear I had inside was giving in, and it tried to reason with me. The question could we ever live a normal life?18+

This was an intriguing romance read.
Everly had a rare charisma, she was psychic. In her dreams, she could see things happening in the future, or things that had already occured in the past.
She saw Asher in one of her dreams/visions and later found him as to warn him of what was to happen to him.

While the story was well written, it didn’t bring out any emotions and I wasn’t convinced of their love at all.
Asher was justifiably sceptical of Everly’s psychic skills, since he didn’t believe in general in these kind of abilities. Most of the times he heard Everly’s visions, his reaction was angry and not considerate in the slightest.
His life had a lot of drama, everyone in his life had betrayed him in some way, which I found far fetched.
In addition, there were too many cases with Everly’s abilities. Almost everyone she shook hands with or touched, was either a murderer or a serial killer!

I am sorry I didn’t enjoy it as much as I expected... 😔

I was pleasantly surprised by this one! I'm totally hooked into Everly and Asher's story after reading few pages. Characters and the storyline flowed seamlessly. A book of finding love and hope. I absolutely enjoyed it and if you're looking for a romance story, you won’t be disappointed by this one.

I am very on the fence with this book and only because of Asher. I loved the concept and the writing style and the story was actually enjoyable now of the time. Asher, as far as I was concerned , needed to be hit in the head. He really acted like he had multiple personalities and the way that he treated Everly was unacceptable a lot of the time. I can see how in the beginning he was sceptical but to continue to be such an awesome to her, I was not pleased at all.
I will still read more of Sandi's work in the future but was just saddened by hostile one turned out.
This is my honest and unbiased review.

What If You is definitely one of my favorite books by Sandi Lynn. The plot concept was clever and I was heavily invested in it. The best thing about this book is Everly’s had a unique gift which makes the storyline very interesting. This book has a great combination of intrigue, a little suspense, twists, hot sexy times and sweet romance. It’s a definite must read.

I greatly enjoyed this book, it made be fall in love all over again with Sandi Lynn. I read this book in one sitting and was disappointed when it ended. I fell in love with Asher and Everly at there first meeting. They meet under such unique circumstances, Everly is a psychic with a message for Asher from his Father who had passed away recently. Asher is a sceptic and doesn’t believe her initially. As time goes on and after many meetings and disagreements they begin to accept their budding romance.

I loved how Asher’s dad kept popping up randomly and annoying Everly and later on their kids. I found it funny and endearing. My favorite scene in the book is probably their meet cute because it so unique, she literally goes up to him and asks to speak him and he asks her out. The scene the follows is on their first “date” which goes so wrong.

My favorite scene is probably is the epilogue, Asher hopes that his children aren’t burdened with the psychic gene but one by one each of his daughters reveals that she has the gift. The eldest says she is having a tea party with Grandpa (who is dead by the way) and Asher groans but accepts that his father is here to stay and also that his child has her mothers gift. His second child reveals that his friend Noah visited her and apologized, Asher sort groans and goes ‘oh shit here we go again’ I found it hilarious.

This book was a lovely, light read that was highly enjoyable.

This is a fun paranormal romance book. It had some comedy in it. Even had some horror in it as well. (Some spoilers follow)
The main female character, Everly has a gift. An ability to see the dead and can see things that have happened or are going to happen. She doesn't involve herself in relationships because it's always awkward when they find out her big secret. Asher appears in her dreams and she is warned something is going to happen if he does this deal with his company. Asher is taken aback by this young woman at first, but then calls her crazy when she tells him what she knows about him, his father (who is dead), and the company. They keep coming back to each other over and over again. Each time something is thrown in their direction by spirits or visions, they deal with it head-on.
I loved how all loose ends were tied up. I thought Everly might get a visit from someone mentioned a lot in the book, but I feel like for plot and story purposes, it was best that was left out. This book reminded me of "Ghost Whisperer", which I LOVED.
Anyways, I rate this book 😄😄😄😄😄 ( <--How I'm rating books now) Highly recommend!

Immerse yourself in this beautifully written love story

Asher and Everly’s story is one of beauty, intrigue and true love.

Everly is an incredibly unique heroine who is strong, fearless and smart. She’s the kind of person who’ll invent her own happiness system rather than let unpleasantness get her down. I loved how her cousin Daniel and his partner Diana were always there to support her.
Her and Asher’s romance is utterly brilliant and their chemistry is scorching-hot. I really enjoyed watching their relationship develop.

I had a hard time putting What If You down. It was easy to follow, engaging, well developed and the writing style was exquisite. Sandi Lynn took her time building enchanting characters and an exceptional story line that draws you in and doesn’t let go until you’re completely invested and don’t want it to end.

The reason I deducted a star and a half, was because while the pace flowed greatly through most of the book, the very end felt a bit rushed. I also struggled a bit to connect with the hero. But overall, What If You brought energetic entertainment, engrossing enjoyment and excellent escapism.

Amateurish writing and not a credible story...

This book should come with a warning that it's nothing more than a fantasy read. Soap operas are more believable. Nowhere in the blurb did it say this was about a psychic, although had I read more of the reviews, I would have deduced that.

I was very disappointed in this, given it had such a high rating. Perhaps this just isn't my idea of a great story. To me it was not credible at all, with too many convenient, coincidental incidents and issues that were resolved much too easily and quickly. It seemed to me that the story was not really planned out, but more like the author just threw in situations and circumstances as they popped into her head... The writing IMO was amateurish, and it was hard to keep my eye rolls at bay. Yes, there's a HEA, but the final chapter is rushed and nothing more than a set of rapid-fire epilogues spanning 10 years in just 3 pages, which caused my eyes to roll so far back I thought they'd never return.

Although somewhat entertaining, this is one you won't miss by skipping it... Sorry!😔

The Merger : A Billionaire Romance

Another amazing story from Sandi Lynn. This story had a kick to it and it was a fantastic idea for the story. Every grew up with amazing gift. She inherited from her grandmother and her mother. Her mother couldn't handle it, she was raised by her grandmother. She went to New York to visit her girlfriend and she kept having a dream about a guy and tall buildings with burnt money falling from the sky, later, she finds out it's her girlfriends boss. The dream was about a merger that wasn't pose to happen. His father dies and she is in the car and she touches the seat and finds out that the dad dies from poison. The man who is doing the merger, his name is Asher. Anyways she tells Asher that his dad was killed by his uncle and he should not do the merger. As time goes by she and Asher falls into each other. The rest is history! This story was absolutely incredible written. I have read lots of this authors stories and I have enjoyed reading her books. You'll like this book! So sexy, drama and funny, it's all here in this book!!!Enjoy

I have loved every single book that I’ve read by this author but, I think that Everly may be my favorite! The way that she met Asher was just so unexpected as a storyline. But, I could tell that he was going to fight his feelings for her the moment that they met. Even though their relationship started rocky and teetered along, I was happy to see him open up, becoming accepting and try to change into a better person. Everly was a good person, patient with him and strong in standing up for herself. She was so relatable to me, even though she was just a fictional character, because I too have a gift. Sometimes I have dreams that foreshadow an event that hasn’t happened like Everly. Or I can tell when something life changing or bad is going to happen when a person tells me that they’re going somewhere. Like, Asher did when he met Everly, people doubt me and most continue on. After my prediction happens then they remember my warning.

I am a fan of this author. I love the way her works flow. There’s enough complications and twists to compel you to read without so much angst and frustration you have to either out it down or want to throw your device. This is an enjoyable story about Everly and Asher. Everly is a Life Coach who lives in Rhode Island with her grandmother. Everly is physic. This gift was also experienced by her mom and grandmother. She can see the dead and she can tell what will or has happened by touching people and objects and through her dreams. Everly has never been successful in relationships mainly due to her gift so it’s confusing because she has dreams of a sexy looking man. Everly visits her girlfriend and while in New York, she meets Asher, the man from her dreams. When they meet, Everly gives Asher a message from his dead father - and like all her previous men, he thinks she’s a nut.

I have fallen for this story by Sandi Lynn, What If You. I actually skipped reading the blurb and wanted to just go into this story blindly. I am so glad I did!!

Everly ~ I Flippin LOVE HER!!!! So at the beginning, we are hit with things that happen that just didn't quite make any sense. I couldn't quite understand what was happening or how this story was going to play out. Believe me! You will love the whats and whys.

Asher - My new favorite CEO!! Everly is either his godsend or nightmare. It was kissmet the way these two met and stuck through and through.

What If You is a story that has the hope along with a few twist and turns. And at the end I was smiling! I loved this book and can cross it off as a favorite read this year. #BookRec2021

Loved it ♥️

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Everly is gifted like the women in her family. She finds that she must accept it and go on. Her life will be anything but normal. She dreams of Asher and knows that she must warn him. He thinks she is nuts, until he becomes unsure what to believe. They have the beginnings of a relationship when he pushes her away like almost every other person in her life. She feels obligated to tell him one more thing by then she is done. Asher did not realize just what he lost until she was gone. This is a touching story between two people who are so very different. Their commonality is that they both fell in love. I thought the storyline was unique and well written. I had a hard time putting the book down

What an engrossing tale! A little bit different from the usual stories I’ve read by this author & maybe one for the sceptics, which I’m sure Asher was initially. However as the story progressed I’m sure Everly proved him wrong. I really don’t want to give the story away as that would spoil the experience for the reader.

There’s the slow burn between the two with a great chemistry. Both not wanting commitment due to their issues. I understand how things in Everly’s life was a burden but was she really crazy? It would’ve been difficult for Asher especially when things became a bit suspenseful at times. Her cousin was a good grounding influence in her life which rounded out the situation.

Overall I enjoyed this story it was both heartbreaking & heartwarming at times.

This was my first Sandi Lynn book and I enjoyed it. The plot was very original and unique. Everly has the unique ability to talk with the dead. They come to her when they have something they want to tell their loved ones. She can also tell things about the past or future through dreams or physical connection with someone. She begins to dream about a man named Asher and when his dead father visits her, she knows she needs to find him. The things she tells him continue to turn his world upside down. For a man who doesn’t connect with a woman beyond one night or just hook ups, this is a lot of interaction. Their story is interesting and takes a pretty crazy ride. It was enjoyable and I would read more books from Sandi Lynn after experiencing this one.

Asher’s father had died and he moved up in the company and his uncle took his place. Everly was special and had been having dreams about a mysterious man that was in trouble. When she went to New York to stay with her detective cousin and his girlfriend, she met Asher through them. She realized that he was the mysterious man but she and Asher also had feelings for each other. As Asher and Everly discovered the boundaries and depth of their relationship, Everly solved some cases for police departments with her special abilities. Their fun and interesting relationship was filled with intrigue, disappointment, mistrust, disbelief, fear, supernatural,, secrets and a deep and exciting love. Good read

Fantastic

Yet another fantastic read from those fabulous author.
The development of the relationship between Asher and Everly is brilliant, how they come to have mutual respect for not only each other but for each other's unique abilities is so comforting.
This book makes you laugh out loud, makes you cry but most importantly makes you question things and those around you.
I would definitely recommend this book, I loved every minute of it and wished it was longer or there were more in the series.
Would love to see how the next generation Cole with their 'abilities '.
Thank you Sandi Lynn.

This story was original, thought provoking and rewarding to read. Everly has a special gift. It is her gift that brings her to Asher to warn him not to go ahead with a business transaction that could ruin him. Everly gives Asher evidence that she somehow knows what she is talking about.
They spend a night together but Asher prevents more form happening til he realizes how special Everly really is. This was a fantastic and interesting read that I enjoyed from beginning to end with well developed characters and a fast paced story line.

Wow what a read, I loved this book. But not a surprise as all of Sandi Lynn's books are amazing. I liked how they got together and you just was on tender hooks every time she met she met someone new and shook hands with them, like oh god what have they done. Sandi has a way of getting g you hooked into the characters right from the start and you don't want to stop. A second book to this would be amazing to see how they cope and go on with there 2 girls and see how there life turns out, also find out more about her new found sisters and if the one into photography really made it. Fingers crossed I keep my eye out

so much potential….

I really liked the premise of this book and about 30% of the way through I was super excited…. Then about half way through it was like the author got a bit bored with it, stuff started to feel rushed and didn’t hang together properly in terms of the h and H. I was ok with suspending disbelief on the h’s abilities and even on how the police managed to do their jobs at lightning speed based on stuff all evidence but the lack of character development bugged me, one minute everyone was feeling a certain way and then literally minutes later total about face. I still enjoyed it but felt like it could have been so much more

Everly King has a gift, a gift many don't understand especially men. In the past her gift has made relationships very difficult which led her to simply writing off men... using them for her own needs and moving on.

When Everly goes to NYC to spend some time with her only family she also wants to find the man she's been seeing in her dreams she needs to stop him from making a bad business decision. Will he listen to her? Or will he think she's crazy?

When she comes face to face with him, Asher Remington thinks she's crazy. But what if... What if she's telling the truth. This beautiful woman walks into his life and suddenly things are changing? Asher and Everly have an unforgettable night together... but fear has them drifting apart but they keep getting drawn back together. Is it fate? Are they meant to be together?

------------

Decent read. Quirky characters.

Loved this book!

Right from the get go this book kept me entertained. I just felt so sorry for Asher & all his bad luck. So many tragedies for him that could or would have broken any human being. The best concept for me about this book was that Everly never swayed. She told it like it was & ultimately never kept secrets. I’m not a fan of angst & I appreciated that Everly told people when they were in trouble or something bad was going to happen. I absolutely loved this book. Top 5 all time for me!!

I finally come to the conclusion why this authors books rate so low for me, it’s because she’s pack so many plot points into her story. E.g. murderer, serial killer, Paedophile, Scorned lovers. In essence this story would’ve worked so well has she focused on one of these and had the main character solve it with her psychic abilities and then added in the funny story with the scorned love her at the funeral to give it the lightheartedness.

Different

Ready Sandi Lynn's books are always amazing. Her writing always have a flare to it. This story was different than any of her other amazing books and I just loved it. I couldn't put Everly and Ashers story down. The soul mate aspect of the book was phenomenal. I can't wait to read more of her books. I definitely recommend this book to all the people who love an eccentric read and soul mates.

What If You was a good story. Everly has special powers and as soon as guy she’s dating find out they leave. She ends up meeting Asher who she has seen a vision that he needs to hear. They have an attraction to each other. But Asher has a hard time excepting her powers. I did get a little tired of the back and forth between Everly and Asher. And Asher coming back and apologizing and Everly forgiving him right away.
