"Wild Heart" is the second book in the rejected mate romance, series,Real Wolves Biteby C.R. Jane and Mila Young. It is also the nineth book in the multi-author series,Kingdom of Wolves.
REAL WOLVES BITEcontinues . . .
I ran from my fated mate.
I drove to the middle of nowhere, where I thought I’d be safe. And somehow, I ended up here.
Amarok has secrets. And it’s a town filled with shifters. The very thing I’ve been trying to get away from.
My arrival has shattered the fragile peace this town's had for the last century. War is coming between the two packs, and only I seem to have the ability to stop it.
The two alphas in the town are determined to have me. But a killer wants the very same thing.
Me? I just want whatever’s inside of me to be released.
Like Wilder and Daxon, I carry my own secrets, ones that make it impossible for my fated mate to let me go.
They call me wild . . . But I just want to be free.
Real Wolves Bite books should be read in this order: Book #1: Wild Moon Book #2: Wild Heart Book #3: Wild Girl Book #4: Wild Love Book #5: Wild Soul Book #6: Wild Kiss
I'm a wife, mother, and author! Writing has always been a passion for me, and publishing my first series is a dream come true. I drink too much caffeine, never sleep, and my imagination is always churning out ideas. Eva and her men have been in my head for awhile, and I'm so glad to finally take you with me on this journey!
I can't believe that it's over. I wanted to keep going and it ended way too fast and I can't wait -probably because curiosity is really getting at me, until the release date!! I can't wait to read the next part and find out what will happen to this trio.
Rune ran from her abusive mate, the pack Alpha who rejected her but won't let her go. Her plan was to keep running but circumstances led her to to Amarok, a picturesque little town home to two wolf packs. And although the town looks idyllic, it has secrets. And a killer.
Sex, blood, and silver shifters. I love Rune's growth in this book. I know most will attribute her growing confidence to the Alphas in her life and the absence of her fated Alpha. And yes, having men truly want her makes a difference but they are not the key reasons to me. Rune finally has a true friend, a confidant. Someone she can talk to, cry with, laugh and play with. Miyu. The men make her feel valued, Miyu allowed her to find herself, to feel free. Miyu with a nudge from Mr. Jones' special tea, along with the guys and the magic of Amarok seem to be changing Rune into who she should have ben all along. It's fantastic.
The story was sexy and mysterious with some humor thrown in. I love the unexpected laughs. I also love the moments where Wilder and Daxon get along. These two are meant to be friends/partners. They lost sight of that along the way thanks to a nasty female but now they have found one who can repair their broken relationship. The revelations about Rune are intriguing, and the cliffhanger has me hoping to see more of the new Rune come out to play.
This book was so much better then the first book. At least she didn’t annoy me in this one. This one got a bit darker then the 1st book but the story was still addictive, I did love this storyline from the start and why I kept up with reading this. But once again this bloody ending I can’t not find out what happens next. The heat level with those 2 sexy arse alphas is wow sexy and hot as hell. She has taken on a whole new level of under standing in this book and wasn’t so stupid thank goodness.. so many questions with this book hope book 3 will let me know what sort of wolf she is..
I hate when the FMC begins to mess with the guys, no being able to choose and being HONEST talking to them and explaining how she feels! Here Rune is starting to make a mess in town, stirring rivalry between the guys. And I guess it will be like this throughout the book, the guys realising that she f*cks with both of them and then rejecting her but eventually forgiving her, and blablabla... Nothing new here or interesting for me, just free useless drama😤
Wow what a ride. Rune keeps growing and changing in this book as does her relationship with Daxon and Wilder. I was not expecting the whole new side of Dax you see in this book. Lots of great sex and bloody deaths in this book. I can't wait to see how things turn out for Rune in the end.
Noooooooo - You cant end a book like that! I am not ready!!!!!! lol
OMG - This book...much like book 1, I devoured it! I love everything Rune, Daxon and Wilder.
Book 2 continues right where book 1 left off. Unfortunately, things take a turn when the town is convinced, Rune is the one that killed Eve. She quickly becomes the black sheep, something she's all too familiar with. Shortly after, Alistair is sending his enforcers to find her. Only, they're here. They found her. When the guys are aware people are in town, ready to take Rune - they take matters into their own hands.
Feelings are growing stronger between the three of them and Rune is not prepared to understand what is fully developing. She's also getting these weird feelings she cant explain. Her wolf wants to come out, but that's impossible, right?
This book is so good! I am diving into book 3 right away. The ending blew my mind!!!! lol
*Overall 5/5 *Heat? 4/5 *First person POV (Mostly Rune, some of Dax and Wilder) *Ends on cliffhanger
Book two pretty much picks up from the exact moment that book one ends, and after that explosive cliffhanger we got it's a good job. Most of the town has turned against Rune, accusing her of murder. Grief can do funny things to a person and they can't think logically. Not just that but Rune's ex is still after her, sending others to find her and they will stop at nothing to try and drag her back to him. But thankfully, Rune has two rather dishy, super protective Alphas to protect her.
Rune really does grow as a character in this book, almost settling into her actual self. I was a little wary after book one. I liked it but found Rune to be a little all over the place, this story definitely pulled her actions together a lot more and built on her character. A lot of stuff definitely happens in this book and we find out a bit more about Daxon, who no matter what is still hot. Wilder for me is a bit of a wild card still. The story couldn't be what it was without yet another cliffhanger ending which left me craving book three.
We get to continue with Runes story, this one picks up right where book 1 ended. I loved watching Rune’s growth in this book she is finally settling into town and finding her bearings. Also the relationships she has with Wilder and Daxon. I am looking forward to book 3.
Rune has been abused and rejected. So it’s no surprise that she is immediately drawn to Daxon. What could have been an incredible series morphed into TVs lead female trading on monster for another (and liking it). This is so dangerous. So very dangerous. It’s like the author ripped off every TV show on shifters and really hones in on Dexter with her characterization of Daxon. Not quite sure how one can romanticize the level of brutality in him, but not Allistair (who is equally brutal). I couldn’t finish this book and will not finish the series. It’s too...unhealthy.
I have been waiting patiently for this book and it didn't disappoint. I love the combination of Wilder and Daxon. They are so protective of Rune that they are willing to do anything to protect and keep her. Yet the darkness in Daxon and Rune call to each other and I cannot wait to see how that continues to work for them. The ending is not nice and I cannot wait until the next book.
I wrote this review on the whole series after reading Wild Kiss (the six and maybe(?) final book) so there are some spoilers in it after my warning of the series being incomplete.
I always check to make sure a series is complete before I read it so I thought "Cool, it's safe to start" when I saw this at the top of the final book listed: "Wild Kiss is the sixth and final book in the rejected mate romance, series, Real Wolves Bite by C.R. Jane and Mila Young."
For anyone reading this who is wondering if it's true - it's not. The book ends on a cliffhanger, was published quickly after the first five (so the one after it should have been out years ago) and I've dug deep, but all I can find is the authors saying "it's coming soon" for years while releasing a ton of other books in that time (I know writing individual books is different than when you're writing with a partner, but at some point y'all need to get together and finish the series you wrote too), and apparently putting up pre-orders then taking them down again multiple times if the complaints are to be believed. It wouldn't be so bad if they ended this one on a note where you could feasibly think it was wrapped up, but they do the opposite. It ends on a huge cliffhanger and people are rightly pissed about it.
Outside of that, Rune's story personal story away from the RH is interesting and thankfully the RH plays a very small part in the overall books, but I feel like we're just going around in circles at this point. I waited until finishing this final book to write a review for the series because I thought maybe everything would be answered, but nope.
We don't know why Alistar turned against her when her blood results come in or why he decided to trick her into trying again with him (though I have a theory), the Daria thing is never ending, they ghost who tried to kill Rune just doesn't seem to exist anymore despite nothing being done about her, we still don't know who set up Ray, and Wilder's pity party makes me lowkey hate him.
There are also a lot of inconsistencies that I've caught throughout the series, like the authors forgot stuff they put in their own book. First of all - if you're close enough to drive to Chicago in a few hours, you're not driving to Vegas in four hours even if you're driving NASCAR speeds. I don't know WHY this bugs me so much, but it made my eye twitch when I read the Vegas part after the previous bit about Chicago - and how did she just get a few hours away from Chicago when according to the first book, she was traveling for months? Second, one of the ways Daxon and Wilder thought they killed Ares was because they didn't feel/hear his heartbeat, which made sense because he's a vampire. But then after she saved him, she said that hearing his heartbeat brought her comfort. Which one is it? Does he have a heartbeat or not?
At this point, even if the actual final book comes out (which at this point I doubt), I'm not sure I'll be reading it. There's not much farther you can go with Rune's personal storyline and that's really all I care about in this story, because the RH storyline is just eh and I don't like Wilder, who will star in that one.
Now a lot of people seem to be annoyed at the ‘changes’ in personalities between the Alphas from the last book to this one. The thing is we actually saw Runes suspicions of Daxon not quite being who he portrays himself to be to everyone, she notices this after he captures her in the woods in the last book. She becomes more aware he may hold a dark side we knew that his pleasant happy-go-lucky attitude in town was likely a mask. Plus Wilder makes a point of stating he is usually made out to be the ‘bad cop’ out of the two alphas although he has a softer side that comes out with Rune so I am nor surprised in the character development and changes people are mentioning they don’t like as I can see there have always been these signs that the others haven’t seen.
It’s clear the Rune has 2 sides to her - it’s highly likely the human side is attracted to Wilder and the wolf side is attracted to Daxon. I can see why she wants both as they both give her something different that she clearly needs in order to heal and be whole again after Alistar has ruined her.
She has grown a bit in this book, she starts standing up for herself more and isn’t as submissive and broken as she was which makes me think this is who she always was but the beatings and being tied sown by her old life forced her to be submissive.
There are a lot of people complaining that we don’t actually know how she released her wolf but I think it’s obvious the moon goddess has removed the curse/mark from her as she said she was compelled to go to the moon the night of her first shift. The problem is people seem to want the answer to this instantly rather than waiting for an explanation which hopefully will come before the end of the series.
My issue is these are not every long books and are more like long novellas and they would easily have been able to into 2 longer books. I usually read books that are over 400 pages so I always feel like I get more for reading and these feel way too short. The cliffhanger from last book didn’t really need to be the end of that book and could have easily continued and flowed to this one without the break in the books. However this cliffhanger in this book is a perfect stopping point and I could see this being the natural ending to the first book if I was writing it. I don’t think some people reading understand the authors choices in this series.
I understand a lot of people don’t want to continue reading this series because of Dax and him admitting he is a psychopath and they think he is toxic and they don’t think he is good for Rune and that they don’t believe rune would accept him after her past and the way she was treated but she is clearly pulled but some kind of bond to him which is why she over looks some of the things and she clearly sees some of herself in him especially after she attacks her attackers on the cliff.
I personally am loving this and wanting to find out what kind of wolf she is so I will he reading to the end of the series
The first book by this author in this series left so many huge cliff hangers and no resolutions that I felt forced to continue this series because, against my better judgement, I became invested in Rune. The last book premiered only one other POV, from Daxon, for a hot minute but was mostly from Rune’s POV. This book starts with Rune’s POV but then gives us a POV from Wilder. He seems like a teenager and is the most confusing character to me, hated and was hostile to Rune in their first encounters, then assaults her sexually at her place of work where he is the owner, and then confesses in his inner dialog that she is only the second woman to awaken his wolf and feels like she could be his mate but he also confesses that he doesn’t want to get tied down? He’s also important in the town, owns half of it, but acts like an immature, broody, jerk. Yet, Rune responds to him sexually and lets him do what he wants. Just before the 30% mark, I was on team Daxon because he seemed like a golden hero and was willing to win her, not force her. I liked the difference between them which makes for a good dynamic when it comes to RH.
The town dynamic is utterly confusing as well. There are’t any authorities but the alphas, no police or sheriffs. Even though another young girl was killed before Rune showed up the townspeople blame Rune for Eve’s death? There is no evidence and no motive. The alphas fight publicly with each other a lot. So much of it just seems too far fetched and unrealistic. The story about how Rune escaped an abusive relationship and then the mystery behind why he severed their mate bond based on whatever her blood test revealed, and then how she was trying to establish a new life and maybe a new love was intriguing enough, but the writing is SO bad. This author either did not have a good editor, or no editor at all. Some examples:
“I mean, why would some girl they’d been after mean much compared to the safety of their packs and the life they’d built for them? See what I mean? I was spiraling.” I honestly wish that this author would find a good editor because her imagination makes for a good story.
“It may not have been the most welcoming place at the moment either. But at least it had felt a little bit like mine for a moment.”
Then, it turns ridiculously dark with one of her love interests being a psychotic bloodthirsty serial killer? I didn’t like that at all. I had hoped that he was still the golden boy hero type who looked after his people and Wilder was the unhinged alpha who also looked after his people and that the two would end up working together to save Rune and their town from Alistair. This might be the book that I DNF because the author is rally that bad. The premise of her story is rather good but the execution is so poor it makes for annoying reading rather than enjoying reading. This author is so out of touch, so ignorant, and so naive that I can’t read anymore. I don’t plan on wasting my time on any of her other books either. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, unless of course you are also an immature teenager.
This entire series infuriates me on an indescribable level. I can't even put into words why I've read all 4 of the available books because it's so nonsensical considering how much they piss me off.
***Spoilers***
First off! All of the books are incomplete novellas that feel more like installments to a larger book. The plots —if you can call them that— run together and you finish this book with questions you still have from the first one. I read them so quickly out of pure spite that I have to swipe through them to remember what happened in the individual books.
I thought there would be a defined plot in this one, considering the murder it begins with, but I was wrong. Then I thought it would again when an enforcer showed up, but once again— WRONG.
One of the characters abruptly changes to be revealed as a psychopath, which I guess is accurate because when you finally get their POV in this book they talk about wearing a "mask" ect, but it feels like an afterthought because the character quickly devolves to a near Diesel from Den of Vipers level. (Cover your ears D, I still love you.)
For a town with so much beauty and two alpha wolves more than capable of reigning in their pack members, the townspeople are terrible to the FMC.
We finally get her wolf, whose miraculously been released and —of course— looks like nothing she's ever heard of/seen (more questions) and even when the FMC takes it into her own hands and goes to the library she doesn't learn anything. Insert menacing, muddled fortune from a county fair fortuneteller that you will also not get answers for by the time it's over and I'm truly just a glutton for punishment at this point.
The Smut is good, but it's not the greatest I've read, and I don't read for smut. I will literally skip them if they're too repetitive. It helps that she has the two guys to switch between and the tension between the two alphas adds humor and stakes. As much as I'm irritated with Daxon's personality change, it gives them opportunity to dip their paws into other bedroom proclivities.
If I had to give it any credit and guess why I kept reading them, it would be the far and few between details. I literally squealed when she told one of the males to eat a donut, because he was making the rest of them look bad and you can't help but smile as the two alphas interact and fight over her in the pettiest ways.
The side characters are unique and likeable, minus Arcadia who is just the stereotypical slut shamed mean girl at this point. Love Mr. Jones and Miyu.
I really wish the wolves were more present in the story. They only shift to kill/fight.
If I wasn't such a control freak I never would've read another one of these.
Wild Heart is book two in C.R. Jane and Mila Young’s Wild series and this book is going to be so hard to put down once you start reading. Get ready for steamy, dark, twisted and surprises! I ate this book UP and the authors left me howling for more. Wild Heart does an excellent job picking up where book one left off. Rune has tragedy strike her in this new town with the death of Eve, someone she was calling friend. Sadly, the death of Eve and Rune being the one to discover the body causes many of the people in the town to turn against her. Simply because she was the one who found the body! Ouch! But things begin to heat up between her, Daxon and Wilder. Yummy! Both men feel a pull to Rune, but Rune is still struggling with the curse that afflicts her and her true mate bond with that jerk Alistair. Now, if you’re wondering what’s going on with Alistair...don’t worry. The authors answer that question in style with this book. But look out for the cliffhanger ending! My eyes nearly bugged out of my head. There is going to be so much going on the next book and I can’t wait to read it. This book though really takes a walk on the darker side with Daxon especially. The authors drop some hints about his past, and I have to admit that I’m eager for more. There’s a reason for why he is the way that he is and I’d love to know more. I like that Daxon isn’t the only one with some darkness in him though. These characters are really interesting and come together to make this book a delight to read. I’m choosing to rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I’m looking forward to the next book and what is going to be happening next. If you have enjoyed this series so far then you are going to want to read this book!
2nd book in this series and man oh man was it good. The first book had me hooked and so did this one. Before i started this series i read a series and the entire book was from one character’s perspective and i was dying for more than one point of view and this book was just that. It really let you know everyone side of the situation when you were wanting it.
The book starts with Rune having found Eve dead. The towns people start showing up and immediately start blaming her. The entire town turns against her and without her two guys standing up for her she doesn’t really have anyone in her corner. There are a few towns people who are nice to her, like the coffee shop owner who gives her calming tea but she gets super high. While on her way home her men find her and comes to terms that they can be civil for her till she sobers up. Anyways after that she can’t really go anywhere in town by herself because they blame her for eves murder. Also for some reason one night she randomly breaks the curse and is able to turn into wolf form for the first time ever and she finds out she is white silver and leaves behind shimmery footprints. While all this is going on the guys are secretly taking care of all the guys her abusive ex keeps sending to bring her back to him. Both men are taking care of them without knowing about the other until they both come together for one guy and come to an understanding. They both fight for Runes attention and she refuses to pick either of them. It comes to a head when they are at a wedding for her one friend in town and the guys aka her to choose who she dances with. She refuses to choose and runs out of the wedding. Once outside she is confronted by her ex.

Rune cannot catch a damn break. After everything that went down in Wild Moon, she’s barely holding herself together when she ends up in Amarok, a small town that looks peaceful on the surface but has major bite beneath it. What was supposed to be a chance to breathe turns into chaos when her arrival sparks tension between rival packs, old grudges, and a danger that’s been simmering in the shadows for way too long.
And then there’s Wilder and Daxon, the kind of alphas who make you forget how to breathe and remind you exactly why you love this genre. They’re protective, possessive, and both way too good at pushing Rune’s buttons. The chemistry is wild (pun intended), the danger feels real this time, and the emotional stakes actually hit harder.
I loved how much darker and grittier this one felt compared to book one. Rune’s still grieving, still angry, but now she’s starting to fight back. The worldbuilding deepens, the suspense tightens, and the spice? Ferocious. If I’m being picky, some of the twists were a little predictable and a few emotional beats flew by too fast, but honestly? I was too invested in the pack politics and pheromone-fueled tension to care.
✨ trope checklist: – rejected mate redemption arc – rival packs + small town danger – protective alphas + jealous tension – found family meets feral chaos – reverse harem / why-choose energy
I mean if I truly felt even a quarter of what this girl claims to feel for and from Dax and Wild - then yes I would be as delusional as she is and want them both but there is still a snarky little side of me that is thinking; does she just feel so safe, seen and loved by these men because she was starved of all affection and attention from Alistair?
My current thoughts are now either : (1) He did do the spell that Wilder said he did - but BECAUSE she's this whatever magic moon creature that thank you I called, she can like over ride it to some extent?
(2) He didn't actually do that curse and instead it was just something that like hid her wolf and because she clearly had very little wolf knowledge she didn't question any of it?
But I also have questions because why did her mate bond with Daxtton not take?
He obviously says it only normally doesn't take if the person biting doesn't feel it enough, but that obviously isn't the case since the kid is head over dick for this woman, but I think that was just another foreshadowing moment where I'm just yet to put the pieces together.
Also I'm still back on her never being Alistairs 'true mate' to begin with but at this stage? Honestly anything could come out of this, I'm just along for the ride.
Everyone has secrets. But some are darker than the others. There is something strange going on in Amarok, what with the murders and irrational hatred between the wolf shifters. All centers around the new woman in town - Rune, the runaway from abusive partner who rejected her but tortured nevertheless, woman who cannot shift to her wolf, and woman who attracts the attention of both town's alphas. The tension between Dax and Wilder is escalating, however if their feelings are true, there might be hope they unite for Rune's sake - if her ex does not find her sooner. The story has definitely become more interesting now that there are some secrets unraveled, and especially after getting a glimpse of Daxon's true self, the man that is hiding underneath the golden boy pose. Rune's animal is also an intriguing element, when she gets freed the fun will come. I am enjoying the complications in the relationships and the constant fight for a woman's heart, even with Alistair joining the "contest" again. Happy and sad moment bring the whole book on a swing, and with the cliffhanger at the end, we are left being suspended in the air, just waiting for the drop..
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "WILD HEART". Rune runs from her fated mate who rejected her to a small town called Amatok but it had secrets & two wolf packs something she wanted to avoid. Wilder & Daxon two hot ALPHA'S want to win her heart but so does a killer who's after her Rune is special she just wants what's inside her to be released the guys have secrets also she just wants to be free. Rune has some some hot steamy scenes with Wilder & Daxon who don't really get along both who want her she drawn to them maybe they'll change for her. Rune finds Eve dead a huge monster in the forest who was about to attack her then just disappeared all of a sudden the towns people looked at her accusingly but the two ALPHA'S stopped anything from happening, could things get any worse for her if her abusive ex-Alistair finds her what will he do to her. I definitely recommend to get this interesting mysterious book with great characters I'm so looking for to next book especially after that cliffhanger I'm so looking forward to the next book in this series "WILD GIRL" I thoroughly enjoyed this book great series you don't want to miss getting so well worth the read.
*sigh* My favorite part of this book was a scene with Miyu and Rune. I love good female friendship, where they genuinely support and raise each other up.
I just read two entire books, and barely know the characters. The lack of character depth is kinda ridiculous, actually. But they love to fuck, I guess. So, the three are in lust, the characters are shallow, the lead female is so stupid it's kinda painful, and for no reason, the two lead men had their entire personalities flipped. The first book had Wilder being the bad boy, rebel type and Daxon was good, light-hearted and kind. Romantic even. But in this book, Wilder was carefree and laughed easily and Daxon was a psychopath. Okay. So, no consistency. Nobody has any hobbies or interests or anything that makes them different or appealing.... at all. The storyline itself is vague, with a killer and her abusive ex as threats. She randomly does magic. No explanation. Her trapped wolf somehow broke out of a bond, again, no reason.
I don't know how anybody likes these books. I don't understand. It's like the author's couldn't be bothered. I'm not going to read anything by them again.
After the ending of the last book, I was craving this one because holy moly what a cliff hanger it was. This book didn’t disappoint, the intensity from the ending of the last book was carried through!
This book was perfectly intense from the steaminess to the follow-up of the ending of the last book and then the furthering of the plot with our FMC’s past coming back to haunt her. All of these moments were broken up by perfect wholesome moments of fluff and it made the intense moments even more so!
I love how we get to see our FMC grow in this book, her character becomes stronger in what feels like a natural progression, which is amazing. The guys also reveal themselves to us a little more and, oh my goodness, they have some secrets which I was not expecting at all but am totally there for!
The plot really leaps forward in this book as does the relationship between the FMC and the guys and I am here for it and here for the next book because I need more!
Rejected, branded and in a new strange town alone trying to find her feet was hard enough, but now.. now they think she's a murderer.
When will fate direct her life into the sunlight?
Oohhh what a freaking fantastic continuation of this series!
This is the second book in the real wolves bite series which is under the kingdom of wolves multi author world. We first met Rune in book one "Wild moon" and here her story continues.
There's mystery and mayhem, delicious alphas, true friends and strange happenings, all woven around a town full of wolves.
Rune was once shy, weak and rather timid but she casts that aside along with her past and I loved the new and improved version of her!
Wilder or Daxon, Daxon or Wilder. Nope I can't do it, I cant pick one over the other!
I loved the way they try to claim her, protect her and drive her wild with desire. They are perfect for her!
Another amazing installment in this series, but seriously the cliffy ending!! eeep!! I need more... NOW!!
Oh my gosh I could not wait to read this book! The last book left us on a killer cliff hanger and I was drying to see what happened next. This did not disappoint in the slightest!
There is a lot of growth for Rune in this book, you started to see a little bit towards the end of the first book but she really starts to come into her own person. She has the help of the men but she has also made a friend that is there for her without judgement and just lets her be herself. There is definitely still the mystery in this book and then you factor in the killer, I cannot wait to find out what is happening next in this series. I could not put it down and need to know what is happening next with Rune.
There is plenty of steam and some moments that make your heart swell. There are also sometimes that you will find yourself laughing at the unexpected. C.R. Jane and Mila did an incredible job with this book and I will sit patiently waiting for the next book in this series!
This story builds every step of the way, as is typical when Mila and C.R. Jane team together ! I am obsessed with Rune, Wilder, and Daxton. Dayton’s darker side becomes seen more as his obsession and need for Rune builds, the town is starting to turn against Rune as the alphas fight over her and after the death of a town member. There’s a killer on the loose to increase the problems that Rune faces as Allistair searches to bring Rune back to him.
She ran away from her past, but is her past truly done with her ? I am obsessed with these books and am already wondering when the next book will release.
