Everything is Okay

Rate this book
Pain is inevitable, but not all pain is the same. Soulful and honest, Everything is Okay confronts and gives voice to two common mental illnesses: depression and anxiety. Because sometimes what we need more than anything is to feel understood, and know that hope and light are always there - even when life is at its darkest.

Sometimes I stare at the bottle. I know I need to take it. It will help. But the darkness has already crept in.

I've been practicing my craft for the better part of 10 years. For so long, publishing a book has been little more than a dream. I've nearly quit more times than I remember but here we are.

I love to read fantasy and mystery/thrillers. I find J.R.R. Tolkien deeply inspiring, although let's be clear I am nowhere near as talented as him.

Some of my favorite books include Dracula, And I Darken, The Whisper Man, and Kingdom of Souls.

I don't how to review this book, besides saying it was good. But basically it was good and worth remembering to read it.

There were also a lot of moments where I was like “ah yes, I relate to that.”

Stephanie Dunham is rapidly becoming a must-read author. This collection is really good. It's full of soulful poems, mantras, and little pieces that feel like they're for empowerment. I just love the style that this is written in. It's definitely a collection worth reading.
