This reboot is still pretty mediocre, but at least things have gotten kinda interesting now.

This issue started with a dramatic colour tone change which I thought was very effective. The mystery shrouding The Father and the happenings in this new civilization is slowly dissipating. Lemire always manages to link his characters seamlessly, as is shown with Earl and his sister. Lastly, I’m intrigued as to Jepperd appearing as an illusion to Gus. I’m wondering if it has something to do with the cloning process?

Sweet Tooth – The Return, Lemire
A fascinating world that Lemire has invited us into. It is always hard to reimagine a well-loved story arc, but this is a pretty good job. Cloning, like how Frank Herbert kept his Dune series alive. If you enjoyed the original multi-volume narrative, then this is definitely worth reading ****
