What happened to book 2?

HUGE GAPS in the story. What happen after Eric came to her apartment , he and Vincent had words? When and what happened between their first date and her calling him telling him its over before it even began. This leaves a lot of gaps to the story. Book 1 jump to book 3 with only 25 pages????????? After this series I will not purchase another from this author unless she has at least one hundred plus pages and NO Gaps nor missing pieces to the story. The author leave you lost and confused in the beginning not even the middle of the story. The story is good but it could be put together better than scraps of words / readers have to guess what happens in between.
