Abducted and held captive on an alien planet, all Tiana wants is to escape.

When the alien base is attacked by a rival tribe, she runs without looking back — only to end up stuck with a huge blue male who claims she belongs to him.

Separated from their friends, they have to find a way to safety without getting captured by enemy soldiers or eaten by wild animals. And while she thinks he's crazy to call her his mate so soon, and she only needs him for survival, her treacherous heart might have a different idea. It doesn't help that the gorgeous alien warrior will go to great lengths to make Tiana his, body and soul.

If the wilderness doesn't kill her, his untamed passion might just finish the job.

Warrior Hunted is a slow-burn fated mates romance featuring a hot alien warrior and a feisty heroine. No cheating, no cliffhanger, and a happily ever after guaranteed! 18+

Each book in the series can be read as a standalone, but for maximum enjoyment, it’s recommended that the series be read in order.

3.5 - short and sweet, but still no backstory

Tiana and Jaryk were cute together and had a dangerous adventure surviving in the wild. She was a good mix of soft and hard; always trying to be bold and brave but not unable to express emotions. I couldn’t quite pin Jaryk’s personality. In book one he seemed like the impulsive jokester type. He was still impulsive and teasing in this book, but we don’t get to learn anything about his background. All that we know about his life prior to this book is from book 1. I would have liked more insight into how he was raised, his culture, any trauma, etc.

Spice: 4.5/5

Triggers: abduction, captivity, trafficking, near death experiences, violence

Fun and exciting with two great MCs. Compared to book one, I could have used a little more smut, but it was still awesome. Points for there being a non-white heroine.

Going straight on to the next! 😏

If Tiana wasn’t so feisty, she’d be safe and having a better time. Instead, she’s in a jungle chased by those who abducted her; with an alien she thought was after her, but is helping her; and food for the local ferocious animals! Danger is ever present and the attraction between the two of them is distracting them when they need to be completely focused.

Love in the Face of Danger

This is one great story in an action-packed series that just keeps getting better and better. I loved how caring Jaryk was, and patient when they couldn’t communicate properly. Tiana is the sort of strong woman who is brave in the face of danger, but I loved how real she felt when you got overwhelmed but all the newness and struggled to adapt. Please, Ms. Jones, let there be more, I need more Ravvians!

What a fun and exciting adventure! Tiana and Jaryk’s trek from the crash site through alien woods and caves is full of excitement and danger, and plenty of new experiences for Tiana. They are hunted by the Hujani (red skin aliens) and Jaryk protects Tiana and is surprised by her ability to adapt to each new thing she encounters.

He recognizes her as his mate and even though she doesn’t believe him, he continues to treat her as such. He recalls it took longer for his friend Xorian’s human mate’s mating bond to activate. His patience is rewarded as Tiana starts to take care of him and become more accepting of their bond.

I found this book fu. To read and a great second book in the series. I would recommend reading the first book to better understand the Ravvea and Hujani, because the action picks right up from the rescue operational the end of the first book but focused on different main characters. This book can be a read as a standalone without too much confusion, but some of the world building would be missed. The backstory on how Tiana and the other human women end up on the planet held captive by the Hujani isn’t mentioned, but I don’t think that’s a storyline while just something left unknown to the readers.

I look forward to reading future stories in this series, especially as some of the human women had small secondary roles in this book ...Elsa and Annie and a few of the Ravvian warriors seemed pretty interested in finding their mates.

The writing and editing of the ARC version of the manuscript was mostly clean, with occasional typos and well constructed sentences. The world building was well done, with the landscape and animals of Halia coming to life. The development of the romantic relationship was sweet and hot, with a heat level of three chili peppers. The plot lot was exciting and the pacing was quick. There was low angst and high stakes throughout, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. The characterization was okay, with the hero being sweet and the heroine being proactive. However, her habit of having hysterics every five minutes was somewhat tiresome to read. This novel used the Road Trip trope, the Fated Mates trope, and the Mars Needs Women trope. The world building, plot, and pacing were all four stars. The characterization was three stars. The development of the romantic relationship was four stars. I therefore gave this novel a combined rating of four stars. This novel ended on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger ending, so that was a big plus. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy sci-fi romances with high stakes, action, and danger. I am unsure if I will read the next novel in this series. I will not buy myself a keeper copy of this novel.

Will They Survive to Become Mates?

This is book two in the series and what a home run – again!! I thought book one was great, but this one was even better! The Ravvian’s attack the Hujani compound to free the 50 human women that are being held there and used as slave breeders. Jaryk’s job is to make his way to one of the Hujani’s ships, steal it and take it back to their village. Things don’t go quite as planned and Tiana, one of the slaves, escapes and runs onto the ship and knocks Jaryk out. When he comes to he must restrain Tiana so he can attempt to take off with the ship. As they are about to escape, the ship is hit and they slowly run out of fuel forcing them to crash land. By this time Tiana has realized Jaryk isn’t trying to hurt her, but trust is hard coming after the way they were treated in captivity. Jaryk knows Tiana is his mate, but he must be very careful with her because she is so afraid. As they fight their way across Hujani territory they must fight more than the Hujani to survive. But as they start to work together to stay alive, the trust becomes love and by the time they get back to the village, they have mated and bonded. Truly a wonderful book that holds you spellbound from start to finish!

Nice mix of story and steamy sex

Warrior Bound: I really liked the story, plot, and kickass heroine. Just the right mix of dominant male to dominant female. Trust and submission aren’t weakness but sometimes it takes a while to get there. Kira, the heroine, is pretty amazing and adaptable.

Warrior Hunted: I liked Jaryk in the first book when he was Xorians sort of little mischievous brother in arms to this book where he certainly grows into his strength. This too has a great kickass heroine that in a way moves much faster with more surety than the one in the first book. Being on the run changes dynamics and makes for strong interactions between characters. I want a Xena ....for those that want to know what Xena is you’ll just have to read the book.

Both books are very good and I’m hoping that Dakim gets the next book if she continues the series. Or if it follows the females instead, then Elsa!

Warrior Hunted is the second book in this enjoyable series. This story is about Tiana and Jaryk. The Ravvian’s attack the Hujani compound to free the human women that were abducted. The women were tested and forced to be breeders. During the attack, Jaryk's makes his way to a Hujani’s ship to take it back to his village. Meanwhile Tiana flees the compound and enters a ship and knocks Jaryk out, when he awakens Jaryk restrains Tiana and takes off. As they escape the ship gets fired on which hits their fuel line so they crash land on the planet. Now surviving the crash Tiana has to trust Jaryk to keep her alive. As they journey to his village and Jaryk senses Tiana is his mate, will this bring them together? This is another enjoyable story with likable characters with action, drama and romance in this ARC I volunteer to read and review.

First story that I've read by this author and she really knocks it out of the park. Love the adventure that she weaves for us. The storyline was so intriguing that you don't want to put it down. (Dinner was late.) Tiana escapes the Hujani compound and runs into a ships. Jaryk's is trying to steal the ship but when Tiana gets in there she knocks him out. He ends up tying Tiana up and continues to steal the ship. Jaryk knows that Tiana is his fated mate but he also knows that she's scared. Will Tiana learn to trust Jaryk? He is the only one that's able to help her escape to his village and they will have to travel through some rough terrain. Great story with adventure, drama, action and romance. Can't wait to read book 1 (Warrior Bound: Mates of Halia)since I missed that one. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a great book. It is the story of Jaryk, the Ravvian hunter and Tiana. Tiana and a number of other women are being held captive and either being tested or forced to breed. A team of hunters, led by another human female and her Ravvian mate set out to free them. They storm the prison where the women are being held but in the insuing melee Tiana runs away. Jaryk follows her but she believes he is just as bad as the other aliens who held her so she tries to knock him out and escape him. They end up thrown together outside of the safety of the others and have to battle back to the village. They manage to find a way to speak to each other but will it be enough to convince Tiana to say with Jaryk as he knows that she is his mate.
The descriptions of the planet and the creatures really bring this to life. I can't wait for the next installment!

Tiana, the female human lead, has been abducted from earth and is being held as a breeding slave, though she hasn’t been raped yet. Jaryk, the male alien lead, is part of the rescue party - a literally different type of alien to the ones holding her. When his group break in, Tiana seizes that opportunity to escape, not knowing that staying is the wiser option. Jaryk pursues her and they hone work through the wilderness together, building a relationship.

This story is dual POV, well written and edited, and merges well from the end of the first story. I empathised completely with Tiana’s choices and her eventual frustration when she realised she’d actually stymied her own rescue. I appreciated the character development and how both of them changed as the relationship progressed.

I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.

Tiana escapes her abductors only to be caught by Jaryk who unbeknownst to her is trying to rescue her and her friends. When their ship crashes leaving them separated from the others and far from his village, Tiana will have to put her in trust in Jaryk as they make their way through the forest while trying to stay one step ahead of their enemies. Jaryk is determined to show Tiana she is his fated mate & they soon give into the passion crackling between them. But when the chance comes for Tiana to return to Earth, will she go or will she embrace this new planet with the handsome alien who has stolen her heart?

Awesome read! This book had me hooked from the first chapter! Jaryk and Tiana are thrown together escaping the clutches of the Hujani. A slow burn romance happens even though they are fated mates. I like this idea...sometimes a writer forgets the human aspect of a relationship. A human might feel attraction but fated mates? Well, Alaska handles this beautifully. I enjoyed the introduction of Xena. I absolutely love a book where an animal forms a bond between the couple. I can’t wait to find out if Rox ever gets his mate! I’m hoping it’s Tiana’s friend and gives Rox a run for his money. Download and enjoy readers❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Tiana, abducted to be a slave, escapes and runs onto a ship Jaryk was trying to take. She knocks Jaryk out and when he wakes, he knows this one will be trouble. But as they are about to escape, their ship is hit and losing fuel, causing them to crash land.

Tiana will need to trust Jaryk, which isn’t easy to do after her horrible abduction. But he is her means of survival, and she has figured out he won’t hurt her. Jaryk is aware that Tiana is his mate but can see she is not ready to learn that yet. But the dangerous travel and fighting as they cross Hujani territory gives them time to get to know each other and build that rapport. Will Tiana be ready to become his mate?

The name suits this author! She is cold and bloody brilliant! Not only can she weave a tale so well that you are literally absorbed into the story but the journey she takes us on is remarkable. Visually stunning writing and characters whom you can absolve of all their sins. Truly a remarkable read and one for the to reread shelf most definitely! I felt for Tiana from the start she is so broken she really could not see her way out of a paper bag in the beginning. Jaryk just so much wow going into that name! A wonderful read that I know many will enjoy!

I love this series !!
This second book is at least as good as the first. I highly recommend this to everyone who likes a great adventure, hot aliens and lots of pantymelting moments.
Tiana and Jaryk make a good couple, even better once their translator chips are updated. The rescue doesn't go quite to plan but it doesn't slow them down too much :) It's definitely a walk on the wild side.Their guardian Xena sounds so beautiful and amazing.

Hot Mates

This is book two in this series. Book one was great, so I hoped book two could live up to it. It surpassed it! The blue Ravvian's led by Kira attack the Hujani to free the human slaves they are holding for breeding purposes. Things go well til Tiana besides to make a break for it on her own. This causes all kinds of problems and leave her and Jaryk to have to fend for themselves in order to make it back. I think my favorite part was Xena! The story really flows and you feel as though you are there with them. Can't wait for the next book!

Started off strong but left me me wanting..

I started reading this author to change it up a bit from my usual. The first book was promising but this one felt forced. The main had such reservations about the whole mating word and then bam she’s “one” with her mate and they are in it forever? I understand this is an instant mate bond, but the premise of the female not feeling it until later.. and then when she does feel it it settles all her previous doubts and fears? I don’t think it was done right with this book.

Tiana has been captured by alien slavers who use human women as breeders. When others show up, Tiana uses the distraction to attempt an escape, which is thwarted by Jaryk, a huge blue alien from a different tribe. Separated from the others the two must travel to the village overland, thus beginning their journey of discovery. Both main characters are strong, confident personalities and their interactions are fun and ring true. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.

Loved It

I am really enjoying this series. Very exciting the hero and heroine get separated from the group. They have to travel through enemy territory, fight off strange alien animals, search for food and water and on top of that deal with being fated mates. Loved the heroine she was a fighter had a lot of spunk. The hero was all tall and alien sexy. 😉😉😉. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

I think I liked this one better than number 1. I really enjoyed the surviving out in the wild aspect. Sometimes the characters all feel like the same people just with different names. Everyone feels too similar. Not much else to say. It was a quick, easy read. I loved Syta or whatever the cats name was.
Also the synopsis claims this is a slow burn but IMO it is definitely not lol. The book is 200 pages, they are into each other almost immediately, fated mates, etc

I’m really enjoying this series. Jaryk & Tiana are absolutely amazing together. Between the rescue mission and the dangers that Jaryk & Tiana faced, I didn’t want to put my kindle down. I’m hoping that there will be more book in this series.

What a great book! I had a hard time having to stop reading last night just to go to sleep. I finally had to give up. It had my attention from beginning to end. It's full of action and fated mates. The journey they had to go through before they made it to the village and safe had me on the edge of my seat. I won't give too many details, but it is definitely a book you want to read.

Jaryk inadvertently found his mate upon the pursuit of Tiana, who had misinterpreted their rescue. This led to a temporary language barrier and much fighting and escaping.
