In this charming sixth book of the Good Dog series, Bo has his first snow day!
One fine winter day, Bo experiences his first snow fall! Most of the animals on the farm know how to handle cold weather. But when he sees that the barn cats are freezing their tails off, Bo decides to lend a helping paw.
With easy-to-read language and illustrations on almost every page, the Good Dog chapter books are perfect for emerging readers.
I love this series! Great stories with nice short chapters and a few (adorable) illustrations throughout. This one was so sweet - Bo learns what snow is and what happens when you get a pileup of snow. He saves the day when he thinks of letting his humans know about his barnyard friends shivering outside! I highly recommend this series!
This is the second book in the Good Dog series that my son has read to me. This book was no less cuter than the last. I have a feeling my son will make his way through the entire series before the year's end.
Bo's first snow. Begins with Bo hearing the word "snow" and wondering what it is. Then experiencing the cold and playing in the snow. Then, finally, realizing that the barn cats are not built for below-freezing weather.
This is better than others in the series, more interesting with Bo discovering snow. For once, King & Diva weren't extra mean. They actually need saving.
Nadia loves this series. When the first snow comes, Bo sees how all the barn animals get ready for the cold. But what about when the snooty cats are freezing in the barn? Nice addition to the series.
Read aloud with my 6 and 8 year olds. We enjoy this series so much and this book was especially sweet because the main character dog makes peace with the cants that are not too nice to him. Really fun and well done.
I love reading through this series with my little boys (4 and 2). Even though it was spring when we were reading this, it was still neat to see Bo's reaction to snow. Another great addition!
