I love a good mafia book with a great romance story intertwined in it. This book was that and a whole lot more. I truly loved Theo and Aria. Aria may have acted shy, but she knew her own mind and really didn't let anyone push her around. Theo was just as amazing, he was sort of sweet, very protective, and took no crap from anyone. This book will keep you on your toes the whole time and you will read it fast so you can get to the next page, while at the same time you never want it to end. This is definitely a must read and I can't wait for the next one. Job well done, Emily.

I always enjoy a good forbidden love book and Aria and Theo's love was definitely enjoyable. They brought so much intrigue and passion to the pages I couldn't put this book down and I never wanted it to end. There was a lot going on between them and Aria's family, as well as some other mafia business but it all came together really well. From page one we were thrust into the drama of the mafia while also getting all of the amazing scenes with Aria and Theo sneaking around. They kept me guessing the majority of the book and I can honestly say I didn't know what would happen until it was already happening. I love books that can shock me, and this one definitely did.
I do think the ending could have been fleshed out a little more so we had more closure on these characters, but it also has me dying for more from this family and I really hope we get to see more of Aria and Theo in the upcoming books.

This was a new to me author and one I'll definitely be reading more from in the future, including the next book in the series!
The book intrigued me from the blurb alone, and was I not disappointed. It was everything promised and more.
With captivating characters and plot you won't be able to look away from cover to cover. Especially with bullets constantly flying and twists you'll never see coming.
Eagerly awaiting the next book to get answers on what on earth happened towards the end.
Definitely recommend.

Every book with Emily gets better and better! I love how you get pulled in and how you don’t know where each twist and turn may lead. Theo and Aria are so so perfect for each other! I loved loved loved it!

Sinful Daughter by Emily Bowie was a tension filled and super steamy mafia romance between a honest cop and the daughter of the mafia family he is trying to take down. It was full of twists and turns and unexpected emotions.
Theo Fox is determined to destroy Rossi family for killing his father. And by some fortunate accidents, he get an in with the eldest daughter Aria Rossi. But the longer he spends time with her, the more he realizes that she is not a corrupt spoiled mafia princess. Aria knows that a cop has no place in her world and it would only end in death. But they have a connection that's too strong to deny.
I was experiencing a disconnect from the characters whole time. Theo wanted to use Aria and he did and Aria fell for his trap. That felt kind of wonky for me. Also Aria may not be in the family business but she has grown up in this world. And she kept on putting herself in danger by making not so rational decisions. Theo repeatedly pushed that he doesn't want anything to do with Aria's world even after he fell in love with her and so that ending twist was not what I expected. The story had a good pace but there were so many details that I was having a hard time concentrating. Their chemistry was definitely fire. Passion is not in question. I just didn't get to feel all the feels.

Mmmmmmmmmm,
forbidden & mafia
, two words that just make me all tingly :)
I really really enjoyed the heck out of this book! So much so that I got twitchy when I found out I have to wait until September to be back in this world again! *cries*
The story was on from the word go! The minute I started reading I was sucked into this mafia world and on the edge of my seat for Aria and Theo. You see, they’re kinda forbidden, they shouldn’t even work, but the heart wants what the heart wants. Amirite? BTW, that’s the best part of this story; Aria and Theo navigating their opposing worlds trying to be together. I don’t do play-by-play reviews, but I just needed to give props for that because it added a level of excitement that felt swoony to me. I loved it!
On the flip side of that we have the mafia world twisting and turning and reeking all kinds of havoc you probably won’t see coming so yet another layer of goodness was added to my reading experience. This is my first time with this author but I am already thinking of carving some time out to read some of her other words very soon!

I always enjoy a good mafia book and this one is fantastic! It has that raw, gritty feel where ‘Bang! You’re dead!’ actually happens. Good versus bad and mixed together to confuse as well, I love it.
Aria is the oldest daughter of the head of the Rossi mafia family and has been brought up knowing things but shielded too. She is a lawyer, as was decided by her father, and is at a crossroads in her life trying to decide if she’ll be counsel to her family. I really liked Aria’s character because although she might look like she is a tad protected, she has an inner strength and uses this to help others, not just her family. She is so genuinely caring of others and when she loves, it’s with her whole heart.
Theo is a cop who hates the air any mafia member breathes. He has made it his focus to ‘get the baddies’! He is dedicated to his work and determined but very tunnel-visioned. With the loss of his family he is totally by himself making his work his life. I liked Theo but at times wanted to give him a shake. 😆 I think he even found the changes with his feelings a surprise, but enough said.
There is a great deal of drama and action and I particularly liked the variety, there is no way you could become bored reading this book. The twists and turns make it unpredictable and surprisingly some things actually happen that you don’t think will, clever planning. This fast-paced story will captivate you with its solid storyline and intriguing romance, why intriguing? I just couldn’t see how it could work out! 😉
This author is new to me and definitely one I have enjoyed thoroughly while reading this book. I look forward to reading more stories from her backlist and future ones, especially in this series.

I enjoyed reading Sinful Daughter by Emily Bowie. It was twisted and had a lot of turns to go with the story that kept you on your feet. The thrills kept you going and Theo was just enough of a cop to keep you guessing if he was going to cross the line to the wrong side.
Aria has grown up in the mafia, but hers is a little different. Her father has given all the children a chance to find out if they want to be part of the "family" or not. Aria has not decided what she wants, when it comes to her families dark side. When she meets Theo the sparks fly and she knows she wants him unlike anyone else she has met, but she also knows that he is there to hurt her family.
When the bad guys show up, Theo will do anything he can to make sure his women is protected and taken care of. Will he be able to keep on the proper side of the law, or will he become everything he despises to protect the one he loves the most?
Sinful Daughter is the beginning of a new series by Emily and it is pretty good. I am excited to see where she goes. This book is shorter, but keeps you guessing and going with the story line throughout. All the characters are well developed and should be good for the next book to come out.

I genuinely enjoyed Sinful Daughter. Aria is the oldest daughter of the Rossi criminal family. She's set to be married off to another made man, but finds herself drawn to good cop Theo. Theo can't be bought and wants revenge for his cop father who was killed on duty in the same corrupt town. He looks to take down the two warring mob families and inserts himself into Aria's path to get momentum. What he doesn't expect is how good girl Aria tempts him. Both have to make difficult decisions because their relationship is ultimately forbidden and a cop can't be with the mafia princess. Aria was interesting as she battled two sides of family and staying clean of all the mob dealings and Theo ends up facing a similar dilemma. I didn't know what to expect of the ending, but found myself pleasantly surprised. This book had steam, sneaking around as well as a thoughtful plot while introducing several characters I could see getting their own books. I definitely will continue reading this series.

Emily Bowie has written an extraordinary tale of forbidden love between a cop and mafia daughter. I really enjoyed how she was able to get inside Theo’s head and describe the torment he experienced between his love of Aria and his need to avenge his father’s death by the mafia.
Emily has quite the twist at the end which is difficult to comprehend completely. It provides closure but feels a bit rushed.

This was my first book by this author and I enjoyed it.
Theo has been a straight cop all his life, now that he’s alone he decided to move his life to his old neighborhood and start cleaning the streets from what the mafia is taking and destroying.
Arya being the responsible one from the daughters of the head mafia family is still trying to decide what she wants in life. They keep her isolated from the family business and at times frustrates her.
When Theo meets Arya a switch goes off and everything he stops feeling in life comes back! Torn between the person he is and seeking the one person that brings life into him has him a lot at a crossroads.
Their story is suspenseful, spontaneous, and thrilling. Looking forward to this series.

Wow! This was a book of forbidden love and boy was it hot!! Who doesn’t love a good mafia romance?!?! What’s even better is when the princess falls for a COP!! Yummy!!

Theo is everything a sexy cop is… arrogant, hot, caring, confident, and charming. I can’t get enough of him. Though he worried me a few times. He was teetering on a thin line quite a few times.
Aria is the mafia princess. She is a soon to be the family’s lawyer. She is a confident, loving, beautiful spit fire of a woman. I loved her the entire book. Even though a few times I said LEAVE!! Just run away with our boy. Lol.
This couple was on fire!! They were spicy yet beautiful. I fell in love. I wish I felt Aria’s love as much as Theo’s but it was still wonderful. I even started to like her father.
A lot of the book was a mystery. I had no clue who was ending up where. Or who would be the next one shot. That made this an even better mafia romance.

Sinful Daughter is the first book in the Dark Mafia Sins series by Emily Bowie. It is an enemies to lovers romance that can be read as a standalone. Aria Rossi is the oldest daughter in her family and hasn’t quite decided if she wants to be part of “the family” yet. She has a singleminded determination to be an attorney and doesn’t want the taint on her career, but at the same time, it makes her feel left out and separate from most of her loved ones. Her attraction to Theo was the last thing she expected. A cop. A do-gooder. Unwilling to be bought. Aria’s explosive first meeting with Theo sets them on a path that neither can veer from and most certainly won’t end well when revenge is the driving factor.
“I hate that the only woman to trip me up is Aria Rossi. She’s deep in the world I’m fighting against. I want to worship her, kiss every part of her body, when I should be wanting to destroy her”.
What a fantastic read! This was my first Emily Bowie novel and I really enjoyed it! It was a little on the shorter side, but didn’t skimp on storyline or character development. Would you be willing to do something morally bankrupt? Theo is wonderful as the tormented hero who just can’t make himself stay away from the beautiful Aria. Mafia charisma at its finest. I love Mafia stories and this one was a crackerjack of a story. Theo and Aria's story captivated me right at the get go. Theo Fox is a rare breed. He was a cop that could not be bought by the Mafia. He followed the rules and never wavered. One exception, Aria Rossi. The two together was dangerous and hazardous to both of them. When it came to Aria, Theo would do anything for her, she was his and his alone.
Aria was attracted to Theo immediately. He was strong, dominant and gorgeous, a lethal combination. She knew if they were found out, the circumstances would be deadly. Being the daughter of a Mafia boss, she knew the risks involved. But she could not help herself when it came to Theo.
The suspense, drama and the risk of a catastrophe kept you on the edge. I was fascinated with Theo and Aria and both of the Mafia families. The heat that Theo and Aria had together was off the charts sizzling hot. I am waiting with bated breath for the next book in this series.

I always enjoy a good mafia book and this one is fantastic! It has that raw, gritty feel where ‘Bang! You’re dead!’ actually happens. Good versus bad and mixed together to confuse as well, I love it.
Aria is the oldest daughter of the head of the Rossi mafia family and has been brought up knowing things but shielded too. She is a lawyer, as was decided by her father, and is at a crossroads in her life trying to decide if she’ll be counsel to her family. I really liked Aria’s character because although she might look like she is a tad protected, she has an inner strength and uses this to help others, not just her family. She is so genuinely caring of others and when she loves, it’s with her whole heart.
Theo is a cop who hates the air any mafia member breathes. He has made it his focus to ‘get the baddies’! He is dedicated to his work and determined but very tunnel-visioned. With the loss of his family, he is totally by himself making his work his life. I liked Theo but at times wanted to give him a shake. 😆 I think he even found the changes with his feelings a surprise, but enough said.
There is a great deal of drama and action and I particularly liked the variety, there is no way you could become bored reading this book. The twists and turns make it unpredictable and surprisingly some things actually happen that you don’t think will, clever planning. This fast-paced story will captivate you with its solid storyline and intriguing romance, why intriguing? I just couldn’t see how it could work out! 😉
This author is new to me and definitely one I have enjoyed thoroughly while reading this book. I look forward to reading more stories from her backlist and future ones, especially in this series.

Sinful Daughter by Emily Bowie a sinfully delightful five-star read. This is number one in the Dark mafia sins series and I am so eager to sink my teeth into the rest, Ari and Theo whetted my appetite and left me wanting, and I am sure that Gia and Romeo will just keep the action and drama pumping. This has it all, the drama, the passion, the loss and sadness that will break your heart and a love that shines through all of the darkness. I adore Emily Bowie and her writing, she has a way of making you feel the characters no matter who she is writing, a mafia boss, a hot cop, or a cowboy, she makes them all so believable and loveable. Even those who appear so dark on the surface, maybe they have light underneath the surface.

This is my first read by Emily Bowie, as soon as I read Sinful Daughter's blurb I was intrigued, and I couldn't wait to read it! Sinful Daughter is a standalone and book #1 in the Dark Mafia Sins series. Wow! I absolutely loved the storyline! I was hooked from the very first page! And I devoured this book in one sitting! Aria (heroine) is the eldest daughter of the Rossi family. The Rossis and Mancinis are two rival Italian mafia families, and there's a war brewing between them. As the eldest daughter, Aria, has to set an example for her sisters to follow; she has an image to keep as a dutiful and dedicated daughter of the Rossi family. Aria is unsure whether to be apart and follow her family's way of life. Theo (hero) is a cop, he is not under the payroll of the mafia; he follows by the rules, fighting crime and bringing criminals to justice.
A forbidden romance, a cop and mafia princess, Aria and Theo are playing a dangerous game. Ever since they met, Aria and Theo has been resisting the urge to get close to each other. But with the chemistry and s*xual tension they have for each other, Aria and Theo eventually give in, its inevitable. Both of them are aware of the risks of being together, yet couldn't care less. Both of them have strong personalities, and yes, at times they were in a heated argument but the s*xual tension was ever so present, with very steamy scenes. Theo brings out the sassiness in Aria and unawarely Theo becomes protective of Aria, he goes all alpha mode. Personally, I haven't come across a read similar to this setting, I'm really impressed with the author's writing technique! Overall, if you love reading enemies to lovers, forbidden and mafia romances, you should definitely read this book. Can't wait to read book #2 Sinful Kisses.

When I read the description for Sinful Daughter, I wasn't certain how this relationship would play out. I mean a good cop, and a daughter of a mafia family? Hello opposites attract and enemies to lovers! From the initial meeting for Aria and Theo, to the very last page, I was fully captivated. I was curious how this would work out. I was waiting for the moment where they got caught, and what the ramifications of their tryst would bring. I was also waiting to see if Theo would keep his "good cop" status, or if he would start slipping into the shady cop world. I loved the enemies to lovers aspect of the story. I loved how they kept their relationship going, while trying to keep it hidden. My heart shattered toward the end, and I thought this was the end for Aria and Theo. I thought there was no way anything could happen. Then Kane entered the story, and this relationship gave me the HEA I wanted for Aria. I'm ready for Sinful Kisses to be released, as I cannot wait to see what happens next! Especially with that little tidbit we learned toward the end of the book. What the heck happened there? Oofta.

Really enjoyable start to a new mafia series. This is about the oldest daughter of the Rossi family, Aria and a good clean cop, Theo. Throughout the story we are also introduced to the rest of the family, her father who is the head of the mafia family, his dutiful wife and four other siblings, one brother and three sisters.
Theo actually hates the mafia, and has made it his life's work to take down various members. They first meet in a nightclub when Aria is out for a girls night...
I'm not going to add any real spoilers in this review, but I can tell you that the chemistry between these two is scorching and only grows throughout the book. You also get some rather sweet moments, which is a nice addition to a mafia novel, as the hero's tend to be pretty bad arse and don't do sweet.
You can see that there is lots of potential for the other siblings and following books. I hope the following books are a bit longer, as this one was quite short. But enjoyable never the less.

This is a fantastic suspense mafia romance. There e is some many twist and a few SURPISES.
Theo & Aria first meeting was very interesting and it made me smile. Theo is a cop and Aria is the daughter to The Don. Both are caring characters but Aria never gives up on person even if they are a lost cause. Theo will help but he know of they don't change he let's them go. They are similar but she never gives up. This Hero & Heroine are fantastic they have a moral compass and they love with all their heart. I really LOVE these two! There are other wonderful character but I just love their bound. You can feel it off the page.
I did smile a alot even thou its suspense romance. End of Chapter 21 i laughed cause she completely caught him off guard. That is there relationship they try to bet each other and they always end it a kiss🔥back of your mind you will think "will they get caught?"

Theo Fox is a dog with a bone when it comes to taking down crime families, and won't take a kickback no matter what. It makes him a by the book sort of law enforcement but there are a lot of others who aren't. Aria Rossi is part of one of the powerful mafia families that Theo is trying to take down, but the moment he sees her, he can't stay away from her that's for sure. It does help that they have chemistry in spades, but there are a lot more complications when feelings start getting caught since her family won't be too happy about it. Plus, she's been told she has to get married, and Theo's name isn't on the list. The twists are coming in hot, the action is heart racing, the sexy times are HAWT, and it all leads up to some pretty big things happening that had me ready to take out Aria's father. Oh, and while each book is about another couple, Emily Bowie left us on a HUGE cliffhanger so I'm dying inside for more! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Emily Bowie is a brand spanking new to me author and y'all, this was quite the romance she gave with her new release. Sinful Daughter was crazy good- angsty, intense, steamy, twisted, full of unexpected turns and moments, and packed to the brims with all the feels.
That cover and blurb might have initially drew me in to Sinful Daughter, but it was the words and these two, Theo and Aria, that kept me hooked from cover to cover, on every single little word. I was addicted y'all, racing to the end because I had to know everything.
Whew! All the angst. All the heat. All the feels. Those twists I did NOT see coming for even a second. Lawd have mercy y'all! Be still my fast beating heart.
THIS book and THAT couple gave it all to me in the most unforgettable, undeniable, forbidden, delicious way.

The chemistry between Aria and Theo was thru the roof!!!!!!!!! The first time they met she was mortified of what transpired but who would of thought that the straight laced cop and the mafia princess would have so much in common. The tug of war and banter between these two was hot!! They fought but failed and fell for each other even if it was against everything they believed in. They both sacrificed and showed how much they love each other by their actions. There was some heart stopping moment but it was worth it for their relationship. It was a great start to a series and I can’t wait to read more on these two and the others.

Sinful Daughter: A mafia Romance by Emily Bowie is a dangerous and forbidden mafia romance that is dramatic and edgy. This story was very well written and very engaging. Add in a love between a cop and a mafia princess, and I am one happy reader. Another bonus is I have found another creative and talented author to add to my bookshelf.
Theo is a straight arrow that is after justice. Aria was everything he never expected. Sparks flew from the very beginning and continued to intensify throughout the story. The attraction was magnified by constant danger and secrecy. It keeps a reader on the knife's edge. There is nothing better that danger magnifying emotions and actions. There is a lot of these stories out there, but this author puts an original spin on it and delivers a powerful and energetic drama with explosive sexual energy and brilliant characters. 4 stars.

This story was unique to the mafia genre. I loved it.
