Tegan is learning that it’s not all fun and games being in a relationship with the most powerful vampire in the city. For one thing, there seems to be a catastrophe around every corner, and for another, how can a relationship between a half-witch and an immortal actually work?
Fearing Ethan’s transformation, Finn has decided to escape the city with his friends in tow. Unfortunately, a magical barrier has been erected preventing anyone from leaving. Along the way he makes the acquaintance of a half-elf named Alora, who has just escaped her warlock kidnapper. Finn takes Alora under his wing and finds that his feelings for Tegan are fading as a new love blossoms.
In anticipation of Theodore’s next move, the group cast their prejudices aside and join forces one last time. They know that if the city is to have any chance of surviving, they must put an end to the sorcerer once and for all.
Sunlight is book #4 in L.H. Cosway’s Blood Magic Series. A previous unedited version of this story was published under the title Tegan’s Power.

Sunlight is the final book in the Blood Magic tetralogy. What a wonderful conclusion to this well-written, well-developed, and well-executed series!
I loved how Ethan and Tegan's relationship has developed. I love that they're now free to love and be who they were meant to be with one another.
And even with so much power at hand, Ethan's only want - his only need is to be Tegan's. Tegan is also learning to control and tap into her power, and with the introduction of her grandfather, The Sorceror Roman and the proposal he offers her she could have it all...after they've defeated Theodore.
Once again L.H. Cosway has taken her readers on an amazing journey of adventure and love with unique, interesting, likable characters who you are cheering for right up until the very end.
I loved this series and I especially liked the twist at the end of this book that almost had me throwing my tablet across the room. Well played L.H!
This was a wonderful story and a great series!

Fast and furious ! There is no time to relax, stuff is happening all around all the time. I was shocked more than once, I may have gasped ! The author did something so shocking towards the end I stopped reading and just sat there for a while. This is the fourth book in the series, each builds upon the previous book. You really need to read them in order to understand the who's, why’s and the motivations. There is hate, death, love, fights, mysteries, magic, and a little something unexpected. I can’t tell you ! Several characters finally find their happiness, so deserved. Family lines are revealed, shocking !
In the last book of the series, all characters found themselves in quite a pickle. I loved they found some humor in their dire situation—those witty dialogues and quips were refreshing and managed to balance “the darkness” out perfectly. I was a bit worried about the story being divided into two POVs, Tegan’s and Finn’s. But after a few chapters, I found myself laughing at Finn’s take on how to handle all those wins and losses and was looking forward to another of his POVs short after that. Of course, there were new, intriguing characters as well, for example a sorcerer Roman, who managed to steal my heart within a few lines. I can’t wait to read some more about him and I hope we will get to.
I truly enjoyed this conclusion of Tegan and Ethan’s story. It was very fast-paced, full of intrigue, scheming and original twists.

Oh wow, I think Sunlight was the perfect ending to this series. It had everything. Excitement, intrigue, so many swoons and oh so, so many sexy times.
Sunlight, the fourth and last installment of the Blood Magic series by L.H. Cosway picks up right where Witching Hour left us dying to know what would happen to Ethan and Tegan.
I absolutely loved Tegan in this book. She’s grown so much, she’s more confident and I really liked how she never gave up on Rita. This book totally passes the Bechdel test!
Ethan is 200% swoon worthy. I can’t wax poetic enough about him and although I would’ve LOVED to have at least one chapter from his POV I really enjoyed reading’s Finn’s perspective. That’s right, Finn is a secondary character so having his point of view is not only original but also a treat. L.H. Cosway skillfully wrote it in a way the absolutely worked for the story.
It's told from Tegan and Finn’s point of view with a happy ending for everyone. Genres: Paranormal Romance
If I thought the previous books in the series were chock full of all kinds of crazy goodness, this one definitely puts those to shame, because boy does the author take us on one hell of a ride. Not unexpected considering we are all geared up for the showdown with Theodore, but it was the little added extras that made this one epic finale.
I have to say that while Tegan and Ethan are the main characters, and ones I really did like throughout out the majority of the series, I also fell in love with the motley crew of characters that made up their family ~ some by blood, some by choice and some by necessity (at least in the beginning). I enjoyed watching them all evolve and become more of who they were meant to be as they all worked together to fight Theodore.
When I dove into this series I had no idea that this was actually one that she had published previously and had gone back to and re-branded it, so I cannot say if there were any significant changes made, but I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. The world building was done very well and, despite the crazy Theodore brought, that a place like Tribane actually existed. I’m also happy to note that we will get to revisit this world in the future and I cannot wait to hang out with the gang again and find out what they’ve all been up to.

As this book begins, Teagan has a lot to deal with, part of that is the question of Ethan and how the actions at the end of Witching Hour are going to affect him. I must confess, there were times that I was uncertain what their life was going to look like as he reacted and made choices that had me questioning his motivation.
This is written a bit differently than the previous books as we have Finn’s point of view along with Teagan’s. This was a little disconcerting for me as he’s not the hero of the story and I wasn’t interested in his character enough to want his pov. However, I quickly found that I loved having it and as this series wrapped up all the business with Theodore we have more romance via Finn and Alora as well as Teagan and Ethan.
I was always a big fan of the Tegan series, so now I’m a bit sad that the story has ended. There was ton of surprises in this book. I loved Finn’s voice and his big ‘teaser’ attitude. There was a lot of hot sex in the book and a particular twist that I didn’t see coming. The ending was unexpected as well and I loved the idea the author come up with the spin series. Tegan didn’t disappoint, she was courageous and sweet. Ethan is still super sexy and now in power and as usual Tegan can’t resist him. I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes vampires, magic and other paranormal creatures. It’s a captivating read.
Last book in the Blood Magic series and I’m sad even if it’s just goodbye for now and not forever.
So many ups and downs and twists. I’ll need a moment to wrap my head around all that has happened. And that ending… I was not ready and I almost thought I was going crazy for not seeing it coming, so well done Ms. Cosway !
This series got better with each book and I loved that we got both Finn’s and Tegan’s POVs in this final installment. It brought a new dimension to the story. I also enjoyed the new characters and I’d love to know more about some of them (Roman this is for you).
This book was a real page-turner. I couldn’t read fast enough and wanted to savor it at the same time. Impeccable writing and really satisfactory ending that kept me entertained and focused right until the end.

The final book in a four part series, Tegan's Power was a wonderful ending to the cast of characters I've grown to love throughout the years. It also marks the beginning of a new series. (There is an excerpt of it at the end of the book) yay!
Book 3 spoiler ahead
I was left breathless at the end of book three and spent months wondering how this new information would play out. With Rita gone evil and Ethan drinking the ultimate power, anything was possible.
What I loved most about this book was the duel POV. I loved having Finn's POV written along side Tegan's. Also, the story is quick to pick up and keeps the reader entertained and turning pages. Nothing was dragged out.
There are new characters (and species) introduced in this book and a whole new world that I'm very excited to read about in the future.
Overall, a great ending to the series and a must read for PRN fans. Book one
The Blood Magic finale is here and it is fantastic! Sunlight opens with Ethan heading the vampires and Theodore’s threat still very real. Ethan wants peace for all but before he can achieve it, he and Teagan have to figure out how to eliminate the sorcerer once and for all, and it’s not going to be an easy feat with Rita backing the bad guy.
I was hooked on this story, desperate to see what the outcome would be. Like the previous books, there are twists and turns I didn’t see coming and new characters that impact Teagan’s life. We get more of everything, including a new POV, and I devoured every single word.
Ethan is unlike anything anyone’s seen before and it’s all because of Teagan. I love the strength of their relationship and the trust they share. The romance is as strong as is the magic in this book and they are all in physically and emotionally. Ethan and Teagan really turn up the heat and give us the intimacy we crave, and I love how passionate they are with one another. They are all about their love but one truth remains, Ethan is immortal and Teagan is not, and they have to figure out what that means to them and their future.
This book is full of excitement and action. The magic is fantastic and ever changing. There is suspense, mystery, and murder, and I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see how things would go down. The standoff between Teagan and Rita, Theodore and the vampires, gah, everything was up in the air until the very end.
And the ending?! I so didn’t see that coming and it is so good!
I have to add that I love Finn and I was excited to get into his head and so much of his story. His strength and goodness really shine through, and his love story is gorgeous. I loved Alora!! I desperately wanted Finn to find his own happily ever after and I was ecstatic with his!
Overall, I loved the Blood Magic series. I was invested in Teagan’s story from the start and am so happy with the way it went. I loved Ethan and thought he was the perfect match for Teagan and I was rooting for them from the start! Every side character also found a place in my heart and I am so sad to see the series come to an end. However, it seems as though we may get more of this world in Foretold, a Tribane Academy Novel, and I can’t wait!!
Sunshine is a triumphant conclusion to the Blood Magic series!
Tegan is the mate of the strongest vampire. Ethan has been transformed by her True Power blood and now leads the remaining vamps in Tribane. But Theodore still controls much of the city. There is a magical barrier that prevents escape, and he’s hell bent on murdering everyone inside. Tegan and her friends have to stop Theodore, while Tegan has a side mission to win back her best friend, Rita, from her evil father’s influence.
I loved the continuation and finale of this magical story. The cruelty of main adversary and the camaraderie of Tegan and Ethan’s crew kept me captivated and glued to the pages. I loved the dual narration from Tegan and Finn’s POVs. Finn has a cheeky view of things and is so deserving of his own happy ending. L H Cosway succeeds in maintaining the thrill and excitement right up to the final page! Brilliant and exceedingly satisfying!
Sunlight is the final book in L.H. Cosway’s Blood Magic series. And what a wild ride it was! I couldn’t have imagined all that L.H. had in store for us in this last book. Each chapter will leave you guessing what’s next and the addition of new characters opened more storylines. For example, I’ve loved Finn since Nightfall and was so delighted that he got extra time on the page as well as his POV. He deserved a proper love interest, and you will love Alora in that role. Ethan and Tegan have even more complications now with his newfound power, but their scenes together remind us that they fit perfectly. L.H. wraps up character storylines so that you feel they’re in a good place by the last page. I’m excited to read the spin off series as mentioned at the end!
With vampires, witches, sorcerers and slayers all battling for control of the city, Sunlight was a very enjoyable, easy to read, fast paced conclusion to this action packed series.
It continues straight after the cliffhanger of the previous book. For Tegan there is danger everywhere. Vampires and evil sorcerers are after her blood, but has she now got the ultimate protector in the transformed Ethan or will he succumb to darkness too?
I really enjoyed this final book and we had the added bonus of the pov from the charming and flirty vampire slayer Finn. He's been on a personal journey throughout with his feelings and actions regarding vampires and Tegan, so it was lovely to see him settled and happy after his somewhat inauspicious introduction. With a few new characters and all the heroes and villains we have come to love and hate, there was magic, mayhem, revenge, retribution, forgiveness and of course.....love!
A very satisfying conclusion (although there were some definite openings left for more in the future), even if the epilogue did scare me a bit for a moment. Naughty author, lol! 4 magical stars
I skimmed through this last book in the series just to see what happened with everyone, but I just couldn't really get into this series, unfortunately, though I did like some things about it. I think if you like tween-ish (there are some "adult" scenes in this last book and maybe in the third book toward the end, but for the most part this series is YA vibes) urban fantasy then you might like this series, but some elements drag on and on and others are not developed well enough, plus there are just too many characters to know or care about them all. I do like this author's voice/style and I have enjoyed at least one other of their books so I will continue to try more by her when I have a mind to.
I felt like the last battle was really short, and, well, not really a battle at all. That definitely disapppointed me a bit. But other than that, I really enjoyed this finale (just like the series as a whole). And overall, it was a very satisfying ending, too, despite the fact that the author never wrote that Darya spin-off she planned.
Honestly, I just wish Rita and Roman had their own spin-off. Now that would have been a LOT of fun lol.
Sunlight brilliantly ends the Blood Magic series and leaves me with a feeling of sadness ... I will miss the characters that I have grown to love greatly. I lived their story, with them, I knew them well and had become attached to them. Four books in their company, to laugh with them, to be afraid, to be surprised, to be moved... It's always difficult to say goodbye to extraordinary characters. This 4th book brings us new characters (yes again lol), including the talented and original Roman but also a particularly endearing half-elf. LH Cosway offers us new more vicious battles, predictions of the future, new powers and new spells... Theodore is more ruthless and insane than ever, cruelly killing vampires, humans and other creatures. He really doesn't stop at nothing and I loved hating him. Ethan has become extremely powerful, the king of the vampires, but despite his new functions, his priority remains Tegan. I loved his protective side and his crazy love for her. Tegan overcomes new obstacles, fights again and again while worrying about the people she loves. She is a half-witch with great humanity. Ethan and Tegan always think for the good of all, they only want peace and harmony. This couple is particularly hot in this book, they have a hard time not jumping on each other lol. We get Finn's point of view, which is a nice surprise. Being in his head will make you laugh and melt. All the intrigues find their outcome. Rita, Rebecca, Theodore, Tegan's father etc ... Nothing has been forgotten. I wish I had seen Tegan's dad more, i regret the fact that sometimes our favorite characters don't fight together but each on their own, and even though the ending is happy, I would have liked it a little different. That said it's a very nice ending and all the characters we love find happiness. In short, this last book ends the series with a lot of twists and turns and cruelty but also kindness and love. It was a magnificent and addictive adventure strewn with very strong friendships, loyalty, courage, discoveries, surprises. An extraordinary journey in a magical and exciting world. Blood Magic elegantly mixes paranormal and romance, everything is well balanced. I really liked this series and I already miss the characters ... Especially Finn, Ira, Rebecca, Alora and of course Tegan and the romantic and intense Ethan.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Sunlight is the conclusion in this serial. Sunlight is not a stand-alone, I recommend to read the books in order. Since the previous book ended with a bang, this book starts immediatedly where book three was left off. Ethan is the leader of his race in Tribane, Tegan is at his side and everything could be peachy. But there's still danger out there. Welcome back to Tribane for the last time. The main characters are seriously melting hot, the storyline is fantastic, the sidecharacters get their hea too, I simply loved this book from start til the last page. A great read,5 stars.
Story is well told through all four books. Twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. Very descriptive of locations and characters. I felt like I knew them personally.
What a fantastic conclusion to the series with POVs from both Tegan and Finn. I was riveted by all the developments and adored how everyone good got a happy ending. Plenty of action, sexiness and humour, too.
These are all great books, that I really enjoyed. I read them all in about 3 days, I just couldn't stop...
This one wasn't quite as good as the others, a little predictable. I found the dual characters swapping back and forth, not confusing, but there wasn't enough writing wise, to make them very different which would have emphasised the differing characters more emphatically.
The other problem with this final book was the amount of sex. It was significantly increased in this book, losing some of the story's impact, therefore reducing the quality of the tale. Once again, I also found the sexual details too similar between the two views. It was largely the same sexual styles throughout individual couples.
To give the book it's due, I still found the characters realistic, with real flaws. They occasionally flounder around with indecision, heart break, anger and joy.
I liked how the varied romances were conducted and the mistakes and agonising 'could of/should of' scenarios. Hindsight is a vicious thing.
What's good is that all is not necessarily lost, and I also like the way that various people of varied ages, struggle with decision making and their insecurities.
A great series, I wonder if the author might do a carry on with a Series 2...?
I've been blown away by this last installment. It all wrapped up so well. Cosway did leave it open for perhaps another series, with Darya, as ruler of Tribane. Of course, in the future. It'd be lovely to see Tegan & Ethan, & rest of the crew. For me, I found this last book to be exciting, thrilling, and oh so sexy!! Yay!! I really enjoyed the back and forth POV's between Tegan & Finn. Speaking of Finn, I'm really glad he found his HEA. That was nice. I was really surprised at how Ethan turned out after drinking Tegan's blood. He could have went crazy and mad with power but he didn't. He treasured the gift Tegan gave him. Ah, this book was just wonderful in my eyes. I've loved this series from the first book. Thanks, Ms. Cosway, for one of my favorite vampire series, ever!!
While I still enjoyed this book just not quite as much as the others so would rate it 3.5. I have though really enjoyed the whole series. I liked the concept of the two voice narrative, but didn't feel that there where really two different voices the writing style for both where very similar you got the different POV's which was interesting. There seemed to be a gear increase in the bedroom scenes that wasn't really to my taste. I can not decide whether I liked the end or not, I actually thought that Tegan waking up in a psychiatric hospital and all that had transpired had been part of some psychotic break was actually quite interesting and was a little disappointed when she found Ethan and Her daughter.
I'm really sad to see my favourite book series ending. I love this book as much as all others and hope the spin off series will come soon enough. I’m so happy it is actually happening. I have feeling that Darya and Grace will be a force to be reckoned with :D As always I was captivated from the start and actually I've missed my train stop because I couldn't take my eyes from the book. Loved reading the chapters from Finn's pov, they are hilarious and cheeky. Alora and Roman were a great addition to the story. Will definitely miss reading about these characters!! If you like to read an Epilogue from Ethan’s POV sign up to the newsletter!
A fun and bittersweet read since this is the last book. I'm sad to say goodbye to Ethan, Tegan, Finn and everyone else in Tribane. Ethan and Tegan's romance sizzled in this book. Boy are they a hot couple! After all they'd been through in the first three books, getting to be together finally was well-deserved. And it was fun to experience life through Finn's eyes.
As a whole I'm having a tough time rating this series/this book. I really feel like this series would have been better off being a trilogy instead of a saga (is that what 4+ books is called?). Part of that reason is because there's a lot of stuff that wasn't necessary thrown in and just kind of made parts seem a bit slow and convoluted. Ex: Tegan's dad, Emilia, Alora, etc. None of them really need to be there because they didn't really add much to anything. I can concede Alora a little bit, but part of me feels like she was just added for the love interest factor. If she had been brought in in one of the earlier books I truly feel like her character could have been made to be much more dynamic.
I'm still not all that wild about Tegan. I don't entirely see what is all that special about her besides her blood. I kept hoping she was going to have this big magical break through and I think I was disappointed in that. We never really see her learning or practicing so she kind of ends up being a one trick pony. I really wanted more from her character and honestly? I was rooting for Rita more than I ever was for Tegan.
I loved all of Finn's scenes in this book. We got to get a bit deeper into his psyche and how his thoughts and feelings have evolved over the series. His parts were definitely my favorite parts of this entire book and is ultimately why I'm giving it a three star. They were pretty action packed and exciting while also being sweet and flirty. He's a really great character and I wish we had more from him in previous books.
I was pretty disappointed in the climax of the book. We've been building up to this point for a while and it just kind of wrapped up quickly. I was hoping for more craziness like what we got at the end of the second book. That was completely intense and exciting and I was really hoping for that with this one. Unfortunately the ending seemed more focused on relationships than it did on the supernatural "wow" factor.
Ultimately, this series and this book in particular, was just okay for me. I enjoyed it enough to where I ripped through it, but I probably won't re-read it.

*** Sunlight is the fourth and final book in the Blood Magic series, which should be read according to series order. This review may contain spoilers if you are not yet caught up in the series. ***
Ever since Tegan Stolle began learning the secrets behind her mystical bloodline, her biggest job has been to protect her blood itself, at all costs... especially from vampires...
But with an evil sorcerer determined to tear apart the city of Tribane, and all of her friends who live there, Tegan's burgeoning powers, and her blood, are more important than ever before... if she can unlock them all before time runs out...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sunlight was more of a sweeping crescendo than just a finale when it came to ending the unforgettable Blood Magic series. Tegan and friends have been through A LOT, and the worst... and perhaps the BEST is yet to come...
While Tegan may finally be figuring out her relationship with Ethan Cristescu, lets just say that Ethan himself is going through some... changes.
Also, Finn gets his own independent voice... and it’s hilarious! I loved him as a side character, but in his own hero role?! Yes, please!
Let's not forget Theodore, Rita and the city of Tribane, which is falling apart at the seams. Everything is coming to it's conclusion, and it was a stunning one! Surprises, magic, blood and all the sex you could hope for, I am left feeling so satisfied (but sad that it's over!) with the finale of the Blood Magic series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
**3.5 Stars This was the epic conclusion to this magical series. There were many elements the kept me wanting more and more. Cosway sure knows how to keep a reader captivated.
PROS: 1. The twists and turns had me never wanting to put the novel down. 2. I LOVED having Finn’s POV. He is by far my favorite character in this novel, with Ira a close second. 3. As always the sub plots kept things interesting.
CONS: 1. I felt like things were wrapped up too easily and quickly. I thought the final battle with Theodore could have been expanded a bit more. I also wanted more from Rita when it came to switching sides (again). It was too easy. 2. There were some elements that weren’t tied up so neatly or forgotten. For instance, someone stole Tegan’s blood 2 books ago and we still have no idea who did it or why. The whole situation with Tegan’s dad was summed up quickly at the end of the novel. 3. I think the whole pregnancy thing could have been skipped. I feel it didn’t play a large role and it wrapped up too fast in the end. 4. I wanted to see more of Logan and Ira in this novel. Maybe some more POV would have worked...not sure about this aspect.
Overall, this is an entertaining series that kept me intrigued the whole time. I didn’t want to say goodbye to this world. Bravo, Cosway!!
