Thank you to InkSlingerPR and Stephanie St. Klaire for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Oh my gosh! This was seriously so much fun to read. This book was light and hilarious with a touch of sexy. It's my first book from this author but definitely not my last.
Jack "The Pecker" Decker is a sexy fireman who is the ultimate lady's man with a revolving door of women. At least that's what everyone thinks, including his neighbour Juliet who can't stand him. Juliet tries to convince herself that she doesn't get why all the women in the town are fawning over Jack or purposefully causing fires to get his attention. These two start off as enemies and the banter is hilarious.
Jack is suddenly thrown into the world of fatherhood and his life is forever changed. This books is extremely unrealistic by the way but I didn't care because it was just so much darn fun to read. Juliet sees another side of Jack that she never knew existed as he embraces being a loving dad. I just love these sexy single dads who make their child the center of their world. It makes them oh so much sexier!
From the cover and the title, you may think this book is all about the sex but that's not actually the case. While there is a lot of tension and anticipation which I loved, there is a decent storyline and the heat was actually on the mild side.
If you are looking for a sexy, fun read to make you laugh then I would definitely recommend this one.
It’s summer time! Which means a good and fun read is a must. With the DILF Diaries, Stephanie St. Klaire delivers a light and funny, enemies to lovers story that’s perfect for a hot afternoon.
Drop dead gorgeous fireman, Jack “the Pecker” Decker is known for being the life of the party and a player. Every woman in the county is affected by him, some plan their schedules around his outdoor workout routines. All except for Juliet, his neighbor, who can barely stand the man. That is until an unexpected bundle of joy is delivered to his front porch and his life is turned upside-down. Slowly Juliet starts to see the man behind the good looks and not so accurate bad boy reputation.
This is my first book by Stephanie St. Klaire and I look forward to reading more. The plot moved nicely, with hilarious antagonistic banter between the main characters that had me smiling and flipping pages waiting and anticipating how and when Jack and Juliet would resolve their growing attraction.
I enjoyed both characters immensely. Although a here in his own right as a fireman, when we first meet Jack, he seems to be more interested in his sex god status than anything else, but as the story unfolds and the layers get peeled away we see he’s loyal and sweet and is nicely complimented by Juliet’s wit and liveliness who never let Jack get away with anything.
Adding to the great characters is Rosy, Jack’s best friend’s mother, and her family. This big bunch of lovable people come out, no questions asked, to help out Jack and push him in the right dating lane.
The DILF Diaries: Oh Baby is a standalone contemporary romance by Stephanie St. Klaire. It is a fun, fast and sexy single dad story, told from both points of view with a happy ending.
Jack Decker officially known as Jack “The Pecker” Decker is Portland’s hottest eligible bachelor and resident firefighter. When he is not working putting out fires, he is causing them in women’s panties. He is officially known as the panty melter, because yes, he is that HOT! Women set their lawns on fire just to get a peak at his *cough* hose. Local mommies huddle in packs just to get a look at those man buns..and…err hose! Women just can’t seem to get enough of Mr Pecker…I mean Mr. Decker! Heck..even I can’t get enough of Jack “The Pecker” Decker!
Juliet Walker is the only female in the entire state who probably does not like her frat boy next door neighbor who tends to throw loud parties when she is trying to relax after a long hard day at work as a nurse. Jack Decker is on her list…the naughty list! Juliet is a hard-ass and is determined to make sure Jack knows she is not a happy camper having him as her neighbor. So what if he has a nice set of abs and a legendary pecker, it’s not as if she would ever dare go there. As if!
But what happens when a baby gets thrown into the mix? Does Juliet get to see a side of Jack that makes her realize he is more than what everyone says he is?
Oh. My. God! I sooooooooo want to be Jack’s neighbor. Why am I never that lucky! Just once can’t a hot guy move in next door and look all cute holding a baby so I can be all like “Awwwww.” Gosh, I think this book is turning me into a stalker! Now all I want to do is drive by the fire departments in my city and check out the goods and find me some man candy. Stephanie St. Klaire really knows how to make a smoking hot hero that has my panties all twisted! You are an evil evil writer! Why must you be so GOOD! Grrrr……
If you can’t already tell, I really love the hero of this story. He is a really fleshed out three dimensional character that I find incredibly sexy, funny and down right charming. He is well aware of his “reputation” and is quite fine letting the rumors spread like wildfire. Not only do I love our hero, Jack, but Juliet is just as equal in every way. She is a five foot nothing spitfire who gives as good as she gets. The witty banter between Jack and juliet seriously had me laughing up a storm. The connection between the two of them is like an inferno. I could not wait for jack and Juliet to realize just how perfect they were for each other.
The plot is funny and serious all wrapped up and blended perfectly together creating a true gem of a story that I wish would have never ended. There are so many scenes where I laughed out loud so hard that even my dog jumped up from his bed wondering what was going on. Jack having postpartum depression had to be the funniest scene ever. Stephanie St Klaire really bring the comedy to romance and does it so effortlessly and so brilliantly that you instantly crave even more.
Stephanie St. Klaire writes with such passion and emotion and has quickly become an auto-buy author for me. I don’t even need to read a synopsis. If the book has the St. Klaire name on it, I already know it is going to be a winner and a keeper. DILF DIARIES: OH BABY is the first in the series and I absolutely can not wait to read the next book featuring Feliz, Jack’s hot Police officer friend. I’m going to need some handcuffs for this next installment!
If you are a huge fan of RomCom you certainly do not want to miss this book. DILF DIARIES: OH BABY has a permanent spot on my keeper shelf as well as being another one of my top reads for the year.
Jack Decker is a fireman all the women go out to see. Women, even plan the play dates at the local park during his 'running' hours, just to catch a glimpse of the handsome man. Everyone awesome he is a playboy, but, that's the furthest thing from the truth. Jack is a down to Earth guy, who has had his heart broken, and hasn't ever really healed from that. So, he puts a show on making everyone thing he is this playboy guy. But, in reality he is a guy who likes being around his friends and adopted family. He doesn't drink just to make sure those who are drinking have a ride home, and helps those who can't. He is a local hero. Until one day when a baby shows up on his door step.
Juliet, is the next door cranky neighbor who is always yelling at Jack to turn the music down at this parties, so, she can go back to sleep. Working 12 - 14 hr shifts at the hospital always burn her out. She never knows if she's coming or going. But, being next door to Jack, she always knows when it's Friday nights, as that is when his back yard baroque's are going on. We don't know much about Juliet other than she's a work-a-holic. A bit into the story we find out some of her history, but, not much.
One morning, Juliet heard a baby crying and crying, and saw a bundle on Jack's front porch. Jack doesn't understand, he's never had relations with a woman since he's been single, but he remembers a drunken one night stand, could that be were this baby came from? For Jack being a fireman, he knows nothing about babies. Let alone a girl baby. His best friend, Felix's family comes to the rescue, the women in his adoptive family know how to cook and take care of the house and babies. Jack is rescued from the baby. He learns how to take care of the baby. He does have a lot of self doubt 'Baby Blue's' come up. But, Juliet helps him through somethings.
Juliet likes to think she's the hard woman one, but she's really a softy if you get to know her. Jack thinks she has something stuffed up her butt to make her so stuffy. But, after they get to know each other, Juliet can't resist Jack's charm and good looks. Juliet finally gives to him.
Will Juliet let Jack win her over? Or will she back out of things? Will Jack be able to take care of the baby and his new relationship with Juliet?

Reviewed on Behalf of http://bookaddict.live, What a delightful RomCom “Oh Baby “ is, and the hero of this tale Jack Pecker Decker the town’s playboy is a HOT firefighter. Every time he takes a run he has all the women in the town hot and bothered. All except his next door neighbour Juliet who has to put up with the parties and loud music. Every time they meet up, sparks fly, and even though they both feel that tingle nothing happens until someone leaves a baby on the doorstep. Then Jack finds out his a father to a delightful little girl. This is a great start to DLIF dairies as we are introduced to a great bunch of characters, and I was laughing hard, and after reading the book I still had a big smile on my face, and can’t wait for the next in the series. There is nothing sexier that a big man cuddling a baby to get the ovaries twitching. Jack was really a sweetie, and Jules really loved him when she got to know him properly. This is a lovely start to a new series that is a delight to read. Told from dual POV.s so we get to know both characters equally.
This is an enemies to lovers trope at it's best. St. Klaire has a smoking hot hero thrown in with a sarcastic, smart-as-a-whip heroine who's not above setting off every car alarm in the neighborhood to get his attention when his party is out of hand. The two really do appear to hate each other, but things are not always as they seem. The attraction burns down deep under all the sarcasm flying around. I love me some good sarcasm and St. Klaire is the queen! When a baby suddenly shows up on his front porch, he needs Jules' help to wade through the waters of baby care. Most of the time Jack is going under for the third time...the fourth time.... It boils down to the fact that Jack has to lower himself enough to ask for her help and Jules has to drop her annoyance with him in order to save Ramsey from the man who has to be the most ignorant man ever put on earth as far as baby knowledge goes. If he doesn't watch out, Jack just may fall in love with both Ramsey and Jules! This is a fast paced, hilarious, sexy and messy (Ramsey and Jack) romantic comedy that you shouldn't miss!
Release Date: July 12, 2018 Genre: Romantic Comedy Actual Rating: 4.25 stars
Yes! This is such a fun and entertaining read. I got lost in it for a few hours and enjoyed myself immensely. DILF Diaries: Oh Baby is exactly what you would expect. It's a story about a Dad I'd Like To F*Ck. Well, not me personally... But you get the gist. Jack Decker (the fire fighters with a big hose) is every woman's wet dream. Ladies push kids down in the street so he'll come to the rescue. Some neighbors are setting their water bill extremely high just so they can wash their car to get a peek of this hot man! And some even put cats in trees so they can possibly climb his latter. Unfortunately, his life got a bit messier when an unexpected child comes into his life...
This book had so many funny moments I couldn't contain my laughter. Jack, having recently become a father, has no idea what he's doing! His nipples are sore, he feels like he may have postpartum depression, and he can't change a poopy diaper without gagging. Good thing is sweet and single neighbor steps into help him. Because without her his life would be an absolute disaster!
Readers are going to enjoy Jules and Jack in this tale of parenthood and fateful chances. This book had me in stitches and I read in in one sitting because it's a.) super lighthearted and funny, and b.) it's a quick read at about 160 pages. Having never read a book by the author before you can be sure that will be rectified! I plan on adding the authors upcoming romcoms to my TBR stat!
Jack thinks he has women all figured out, until a baby changes everything. Juliet knows she has Jack figured out, until a baby changes everything. Juliet and Jack are about to learn a valuable lesson about the merits of falling in love. He's clueless. She's judgmental. This playboy is about to get the one thing he's longed for, yet never believed he'd have. A family. St. Klaire makes baby Ramsey the star of the show. She's the link that makes it all make sense for the playboy and his stubborn neighbor. Irresistibly adorable.
Between the cover and the blurb, I was super excited to read this, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. I still enjoyed it - but it just sort of fell flat for me. I liked Jack and Juliet was ok. I even liked the way their relationship developed from enemies (sort of) to lovers and I especially loved Ramsey. But there were aspects of the story that felt like they were just thrown in for the heck of it and they had potential to be really great plot points had they been developed more. And there were sequences and details that just didn't fit with the rest of the story that left me feeling a bit confused. The ending felt rushed and a bit overly complicated, but this is another case of all's well that ends well I suppose. Because I am such a fan of single dad romances, I am intrigued and will probably continue on with her DILF Diaries series (and possibly her MILF Monologues series as well). 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

Jack Decker is not the player he is rumored to be. Juliet is a strong willed women who is going to kill her neighbor Jack for all his parties he throws. All comes to a screeching halt when a baby appears on his door step that is potential his. Juliet steps into the chaos his life has become and makes it make sense.
St. Klaire wrote a heroine that can give back as good as she gets. I loved the playful give and take between Jack and Juliet as they fell in love.
What do you get when you put together a fun loving playboy and his uptight neighbor? A laugh out loud funny, sexy story that you won’t want to put down!
DILF Diaries: Oh Baby is a fun enemies to lovers story that will have you cracking up! Jack and Jules have chemistry that sucks you in from the first page. Balanced with the right amount of sarcasm, sass, and sexual tension, you’re in for a fun ride. Great start to a new series.
Jack and Juliette are great characters. I love their chemistry. Then mix in Ramsey to give a whole other set of emotions and this story is hard to resist. I think Jack and Juliette's relationship is captured really well by this sentence "And then he said it — the one thing no man who wanted his goods to stay intact should ever say. “But you’re a woman—”" There is a lot of back story to both of these characters that I would love to know, maybe in future books we will hear more about their histories and maybe get to know Teagan better. I look forward to more of this series.
I’m not even really sure where to start with this.
This book has a cute blurb, a cool cover, and a crap-ton of glowy reviews telling me how fabulous it is. So, why was I only able to read about 20% of the book before I angrily deleted the file off my Kindle? Well, it’s like this…
Jack, the hero:
There’s a number of things I didn’t like about Jack right from the start.
1. First of all, he’s a grown-ass man who throws keggers (oh, excuse me, “barbeques”) at his house every night where he and his manwhore friends hang out/have sex with scantily clad women of dubious intelligence and intent. Jack seems to have trouble remembering the girls’ names. (Mostly because he doesn’t give a crap about any of them. He’s a real charmer, Jack is.)
2. Jack doesn’t seem concerned or offended that everyone in town calls him Jack “the Pecker” Decker. I thought they called him that because he’s pretty much a giant bag of dicks throughout the first 20% of the story, but no, I think everyone calls him that as a lame shout-out to his alleged sexual prowess. Whatever. Either way, it’s not really the kind of nickname Jack should be proud of.
3. He’s not at all apologetic when his keggers keep his hard-working neighbor, Juliet, awake at all hours of the night. Like I said, he’s a giant bag of dicks.
4. Jack remembers the heroine’s name because he stalked her. Oh, sure, it was done under the cutesy guise of “hey, you gotta know your neighbors these days”, but guys, if you have a cop friend run a girl’s license so you can get a bunch of personal info about her without talking to her, you’re a creepy stalker.
Juliet, the heroine: Juliet is far less annoying than Jack, but I’m not a fan of the whole “grumpy lady hates neighbor but still can’t stop herself from staring open-mouthed at his naked chest” trope. Smart, capable women should not be rendered dumb and mute by a pretty face and a nice set of pecs, especially when the man attached to said face and pecs is a giant bag of dicks. Also, it irked me that Juliet kept mentioning how she “saves lives” at her job. She’s a nurse, so the statement is true, but real nurses don’t go around telling anyone who’ll listen about how they “save lives” all day. It’s just not done. And every time Juliet said it, she sounded really pretentious and douche-y.
90% of the other women in town: The women that I saw in the first 20% of the story were either: Drunk and stumbling around one of Jack’s kegger parties So desperate to get Jack’s attention that they were willing to a) stakeout his house, b) dress like a hooker and wash their car multiple times a week, c) fake car trouble, or d) shove a child to the ground so that he’d come to the rescue.
Frankly, the portrayal of women in this book was fairly disgusting. Only the heroine and the obligatory coarse older lady who helped out at the fire station were spared from looking like complete simpering fools.
The old “men are idiots” trope Why is it that when babies show up, so many romance novel heroes turn into completely incompetent idiots? I mean, I understand when they’re overwhelmed and need help. But when they don’t seem to know how to feed or hold a baby, or have even have an inkling of what a baby might need, I’m irritated. Even my pre-teen son knows that a baby needs to eat every few hours, and that you need diapers, a crib, and clean clothes to care for one. I’m betting even he’d know how to hold a baby, too. Jack is a firefighter, a full-fledged grown-up. The fact that he is so completely clueless about babies (and assumes that a woman without children should know everything about how to care for them) is not in any way endearing or funny. It’s just...pathetic.
Lame “hose” references: One or two “hose” jokes are to be expected in a romance about a firefighter. But I only read 20% of this book and encountered so many hose references that I started considering making this book a drinking game during which I would take a shot for every time something in the book made me roll my eyes. But then I realized that if I did this, I’d die of alcohol poisoning and thought better of the idea.
Head hopping: I had to read the first interactions between Juliet and Jack four times before I understood what was going on because the point of view shifted every few paragraphs. So, one paragraph would be written from Juliet’s POV, then we’d switch abruptly to Jack’s. It was super jarring. (And annoying.)
So, long-story-short, I wanted Jack “giant bag of dicks” Decker to contract a nasty case of syphilis that Juliet “I save lives, I’m kind of a big deal” wasn’t able to cure him of, and eventually succumb to the disease. I’m guessing that’s not how the story ended, though, which is too bad.

An amazing lighthearted and funny read. I read this book in one sitting. I loved Juliet and Jack. Stephanie writes great lovable characters. Definitely a romcom winner.
DILF Diaries- OH BABY is a standalone RomCom by Stephanie St. Klaire...
Firefighter Jack Decker is a playboy plain and simple.. When his neighbor Jules comes over with a surprise he fights it. It’s not his. He wants nothing to do with. But he has no choice in the matter. He begs for her help now. When before all he wanted to do was make her angry at him. He succeeded with that in spades.
Talk about opposites attract! Jack Decker has an interesting nickname that puts him the category of the ultimate party guy. In every sense of the phrase. His house is the party house filled with people who get drunk, rowdy, and frisky. Juliet Walker is the responsible nurse next door. She minds her own business. She is beyond dedicated to her work. When they clash, its in a huge way. Yelling at each other with one zingers that would make the mic drop generation proud. What brings them together under a mutual truce is a baby. Ramsey is left on Jack's doorstep and thrust into his life. He is a little confused as to how this will change his life but thanks to his extended family, he has a chance to adjust. Jules (as Jack likes to call her to get under her skin) is taken with Ramsey. Her feelings for the little girl grow fast and swift. Her feelings for Jack grow without her realizing too. Jack is one of the most misunderstood characters I have read. He lets his reputation preceed him and is ok with that until it could destroy everything. I loved his character and his ability to love his extended family without them being aware. He is the alpha male that is in the backround protecting everyone. I adore the way Ms. St. Klaire writes Rom coms. Her characters are sarcastic with a flair for the sometimes dramatic. I especially enjoyed Marty. Marty is the doting mother type of the firehouse. BUT don't tell her she cares about those boys. She'll cut off from her cornbread.
Somehow, their schedules fell into place perfectly, like it was meant to be--like fairytales and shit.
Okay, so I was laughing out loud from the very beginning of this one! Jack and Juliet definitely seem to be opposites and push each other's buttons at every encounter. And with Jack being the guy every woman wants, sans Juliet of course, this provides for some quite entertaining scenes.
The Characters Jack. From the beginning we see jack as a sort of "manwhore" who is making is rounds though the town. Woman of all ages stop and gawk during his morning runs, orchestrate small disasters for him to assist with, and spread all sorts of rumors about his ... well, you get it. Until he's hit with the surprise of his life. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised to see Jack's character evolve and unveil itself throughout the course of the story. He was definitely more than simply a pretty ... face.
Juliet. I first noticed her wit! I loved her clever comebacks and how she never let Jack get away with anything. When she sort of gets dragged into Jack's new surprise, I got to see a bit more of what lies underneath her intelligence. I came to really like Juliet through the story and found that she was a really great person. The one thing about her was that her character didn't seem to develop as steadily as I'd hoped. It's like when we find out about some of the things about her, they happen all at once, rather than being hinted at throughout the story. I wasn't a fan of that.
Rosie and family. Hands down, favorite mother. She can bring me tacos ANY DAY of the WEEK.
The Story Not only was this story full of fun, there was also a lot of emotion to it. Dealing with life can be difficult, but when you're thrown into something unexpected and something you're nowhere near prepared for can turn everything upside down. I really enjoyed this entire world and seeing how all the characters interacted and how things moved along. This was an interesting storyline and a great new twist to a sometimes usually predictable construct.
Won't you be my neighbor? Single women the world over would go to great lengths to have a hot firefighter and all his friends, mostly law enforcement and fellow hero types, next door but not Juliet. If there weren't already so many cops over at her neighbor, Jack's place, she'd call the police with a noise, and stripper, complaint! Every week it's another "party at Jack's". To be honest, she's not really sure he belongs on their block, with his reputation as Jack "the Pecker" Decker, he's not exactly built for life in the 'burbs. So she's back over there banging on his door telling him to keep his frat boy parties down!
Jack may have a reputation for slaying with the ladies but it's the sexy, spitfire nurse next door whose caught his attention. Truth is, he doesn't mind cranking the music up just to see her get all worked up. She gives him hell and he loves it.
His world is turned upside down when a baby shows up on his doorstep. To say he's in over his head is an understatement. He'll need all the help he can get to figure out fatherhood and that includes the lovely hater from across the garden gate.
Despite the title, the heat level was very mild but the laughs were plentiful and the baby was adorable. Cute, beach read.
I haven’t read much by this author and after reading DILF Diaries I’m beginning to wonder why because this is enemies to lovers and romantic comedy at its best. Jack Decker is the fireman every girl in town wants, woman do all sorts of outrageous things to get his attention and on the face of it he accepts every challenge they throw at him but is he a playboy or has he built a life around himself to protect his feelings. Juliet is his neighbor and as a nurse working shifts the last thing she needs night after night are parties and woman parading around when she is trying to sleep so needless to say Jack and Juliet don’t get on but could this be about to change with the arrival of a baby on Jack’s doorstep......... A new baby brings all sorts of different challenges for Jack but if truth be known it’s just what he wants a family of his own. Baby Ramsey fast becomes the star of this book and you really can’t help laughing out loud when Jack is learning the things you can do and the things you can’t do with a baby like changing their formula by mistake. This was a adorable funny read and I can’t wait for more in this series.
This LOL romantic comedy had so many different layers and LOADS of heart and heat, I am STILL smiling about it! There were moments I thought I might die of laughter...and lets not forget about those swoon-worthy ones too, because they were just as unforgettable!
Jack was seriously YUMMY. He is one of those heroes you drool over. He makes you laugh, swoon, sigh and beg for while Jules had spunk and sass and will make you want to high five her! Jack and Jules had such great SMOKING HOT chemistry. This enemies to lovers type of romantic comedy was outrageously funny, darn sexy and wonderfully amusing! I had a blast reading this book and I think others will too. A definite MUST READ for this sizzling summer! This is one romantic comedy readers will demand more of. Its the kind of fun that will make you grin and laugh out loud and the romance will be enough to keep things steamy for hours after you put the book down. Stephanie St. Klaire you have a RED HOT WINNER of a book!
DILF Diaries: Oh Baby gets a WILDLY ENTERTAINING FIVE RED HOT STARS!
Oh My God! Jack The Pecker Decker. The laid back guy with a reputation to maintain; he’s a legend amongst his friends and coworkers. At first I was torn between hating him and loving him all at once. Smoking hot, cocky, charming and funny fireman that all the women want and all men look up to. Juliet “Jules” is a hard working nurse that looks a little stuck up but once you get to really know her she’s loveable, nurturing and a tad “sassy”. They get on each other’s nerves but when a sudden complicated event occurs that will change Jack’s life forever, they team up to face it head on. You can feel each other’s pull towards one another and their growing feelings and it’s simply awesome! Enemy to friends to lovers; nothing will stop them ! Loved loved loved that easy to read, well written story and I simply couldn’t put it down!
Stephanie St. Klaire has a great stand alone rom-com on her hands. She captured my interest from the start and did not let go. After reading this book, I wish I were neighbors with Jack Decker.
Jack Decker has quite the reputation. He's a modern day hero being a fire fighter. Women in his town know his schedule by heart because he's the guy everyone wants to be with, ogle, and dream about. Everyone that is, except his neighbor Juliet. She's turned off by his playboy tendencies and has no problem letting him know her opinion of him. That is until fate drops something at his door.
I found myself flying through the pages to read this book to find out what would happen next. I loved the chemistry and connection of characters, as well as the lengths they go to get each other's attention. I can't wait to see what Stephanie St. Klaire has in store for us next.
Jules and Jack are an amazing couple. They have chemistry that heats up the pages from page 1. Jules, as Jack so graciously nicknamed her, is totally against Jack because he is rumored to be a playboy. Little does she know those rumors are just that. And Jack has his sights set on Jules. It takes one sweet little surprise infant to force them together. Jules expects Jack to fail because he’s “just a playboy”. But really he is this amazing guy trying to leave behind his memories of his cheating fiancé and not wanting to trust another woman. They work together and build a friendship and then a relationship. It was definitely fun with these two. Fighting the inevitable as well as all the matchmaking! Fun read, great story and great characters. A story you will enjoy from page one!
Oh Baby is book one of the new standalone RomCom DILF Diaries series by Stephanie St. Klaire. This heartwarming and hilarious enemies to lovers/best friends story is a great start to the series.
I was laughing so hard from the very beginning. The banters between Jules and Jack were filled with sexual innuendos and their quick comeback comments were hilarious. Jack’s interactions with Ramsey was hysterical but so true and real given his background. Stephanie has a gift in filling a situation with real emotions and reactions. The twist and turns had kept the story lively from the first page until the end.
I absolutely enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to those readers who like a great story with lots of laughs and swooning. I am looking forward to meeting the next DILF.
I received an advance reviewer copy of the book for free from Inkslinger PR in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Jack Decker is what woman all over his town dream about. It doesn't matter if they are married or not. They all want him. There is even a group of Mommy's that set up in the park during the time he takes his run.....Poor Dude. Not only is he HOT, but he also has a great sense of humor. But his neighbor Juliet dioesn't like anything about him But then one fateful morning Jack thinks he can sleep in....BUT there is a huge surprise waiting for him...A must read..I was able to read it in 3 hours
I was completely captivated and entertained by Jack’s story. I found it hilariously funny that Jack was proud of his player reputation and his rather revealing nickname! I laughed out loud at the antics of the local soccer moms and single ladies taking photos and otherwise vying for Jack’s attention, after all, he is a handsome and well built man.
I can only imagine the look on Jack’s face when he is told that he is the father of the baby literally left on his doorstep accompanied by a letter naming him the father. Combine that with the ever prickly, but beautiful, neighbor lady that points out his bundle of joy.
I enjoyed Jack’s journey into fatherhood as he dealt with the sudden change in his lifestyle. He no longer was able to party every day with his buddies instead he was changing diapers, shopping for formula, diapers and all sorts of baby things. Juliet was also paramount in Jack’s change of attitude, softening up her feisty attitude when she realized Jack had a few secrets he wasn’t wanting to share. It was also very heartfelt when Jack realized he could lose custody of his baby girl because of his reputation and previous lifestyle.
Sweet and heartwarming, I could have read about his family for a long time and never get tired of the humor. I hope there are more where this came from because it was a joy to read.
I just laughed my way through this book, then got all emotionally invested, before swiping the last page with a happy sigh. This book is so fun! The banter between Jules and Jack had me laughing out loud, and although I thought I was going to hate him, Jack captured my heart. I love a good character arc, and boy- Jack is not the man you think he is in all the best ways. If you love to laugh, swoon, and finish reading a book grinning from ear to ear, don’t miss this fantastic rom-com from Stephanie St. Klaire!
In true St. Klaire fashion this book will give you all the feels. It has amazing character chemistry that will have you zipping through the pages. Jack is a sexy firefighter that has all the women in the city wanting his hose. His neighbor Jules is a spunky nurse trying to ignore him. When a store drops a surprise at Jack's front door everything changes. Trust me this DILF will have you swooning.
