4.5 hot and nerdy stars 🤓🤓🤓🤓.5

WOW this was a really fun and smexy read.... I just knew from the very first words in the acknowledgment of this book this was going to be an author I was going to really enjoy.... and I was right... fabulous characters, interesting plot, and a touch of humor..... and oh yes the hot romance🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 my lovely friends who have an aversion to romance, probably not the book for you, but everybody else pick this up!

Liam is the sensitive smart brother of a family of so many brothers that I lost count of them.... Liam is a widowed father of an adorable girl named Reagan.... he has closed himself off to love, he does not want to hurt like that ever again, and he does not want to betray the love of his life..... Felicity along with being Ragan’s caretaker is also a friend of the family and was the best friend of Liam‘s deceased wife...... Felicity was terribly likable, and the girl had the patience of a saint..... liam’s grief broke my heart, I did want to reach through the pages and tell him it was OK he could MoveOn I’m sure his wife would want him to do that..... and oh yes I forgot to mention that both Liam and felicity are top notch hackers....

There was not just romance in this book there was suspense, mystery, and intrigue... Who was out to get Felicity? And when that was figured out who is going to outsmart who? I really found a lot of the techy parts of this book really interested... even though I couldn’t tell you if it could actually happen or not, it sure was fun to read about......

So will Liam and Felicity live happily ever after? You’ll need to read this book to find out! And even though this is the second book in the Brothers Keeper series it definitely worked as a standalone.... however now I am so interested in all these other brothers I will want to read all their books as well!....😍

*** thank you so much to the author for a copy of this book ***
PS: letters that Cassidy wrote to her daughter Reagan to help her through all the tough times in her life, were so special, I couldn’t not mention those in this review💔💞

Menacing, sultry, and adrenaline pumping!

Brother’s Keeper II: Liam is a riveting tale that takes us into the lives of two main characters, Felicity, a young woman determined to keep her unfinished past a secret, and Liam a caring father and widower who will protect those he cares about at any cost.

The writing is crisp and taut. The characters are relentless, committed, and sophisticated. And the story starts off with a bang and never lets up as it takes you on a suspenseful thrill ride full of twists, turns, deception, familial drama, tender moments, red-hot chemistry, violence, and state-of-the-art cyber weaponry and warfare.

Overall, Brother’s Keeper II: Liam is an action-packed, romantic tale that not only keeps you on your toes but warms the heart, and ultimately leaves you eager for more O’Reilly.

Thank you to InkSlingerPR and Stephanie St. Klaire for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Spare me from tstl heroines who are competent andor kickass only in their own minds.
All of them really, this tech savvy lot. A high-end, elite security firm missing clues or just being oblivious. The villain literally had them running around and meeting themselves coming back.
'struth.
So disappointing.

She's one of those "I will do anything to keep my people safe except telling them that they're not safe and that I don't have the means to keep them safe and at the same time actually putting them in danger just by being around" kind of women.

“We can’t protect you if you don’t tell us who to protect you from. What don’t you get about that?” “I don’t want protection! Don’t you get it?” she fired back. “This is my mess, and I’m not dragging you into this. None of you get hurt that way.” “News flash, Felicity, in the past two days, my daughter and my brothers were involved. How is that not letting anyone get hurt?"

Looking him over, she discovered a second wound on the same side as the shoulder. “You were hurt. This is all my fault. Two hits. You took two of my bullets.”

“What was I thinking?” she said when the hand that wrapped his waist felt the dampness of his blood, and her touch made him wince. “Oh my God, what was I thinking?” “Good question. Were you even armed?” he seethed through the pain. “What would you have done? How would you have defended yourself?

Granted, I picked this one up because of the dead wife trope but the rest of the plot seemed interesting enough at the start. Amazon labels it as "Action and Adventure" - I suppose it can be that. But "Thriller" is taking it too far. More like Comedy of Errors.

H and ow met in their tweens. Married, had a kid, the ow dies. The h is her bff. She jumps his bones a year after the ow dies and he's been holding her at arm's length since then.
The ow is his forever love - she's legit waiting for him to join her in the afterlife, she says. But she's left him letters and the go ahead to find joy again.

Ow letter:
My fondest memory, though, is of you…dancing in the rain...With every storm that passes, my love…remember to always dance in the rain.

Hero:
She wanted him to dance in the rain. He laughed at that memory. It was one of his favorites too. It summed up who they were individually and as a couple.

Heroine:
“Liam look at me. Find the joy…find the joy,” she cried, her voice dropping to a whisper while her lip quivered. “Weather the storm, Liam, so we can dance in the rain.”

Hero:
“You’re the joy,” he said, “and I can’t wait to dance in the rain with you for the rest of my life.”

And then they live Happy For Now.

My rating is 4.5---

The second book in Brother's Keeper. Liam is raising his daughter on his own after his wife's passing. Of course he has his family, and Felicity aka City who is taking care of her.
When Felicity is sneaking out, and not telling anyone where she's going Liam follows. That's just who he is. She's family maybe more. It's too hard to let love in again.

Felicity knows someone is following her. Well she's only out now for one reason only. To protect her family. The O'Reillys took her in, and she won't let her past hurt them. She loves them.

This book takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. One that won't let go of your heart. You won't see it coming. The suspense was just amazing. One you won't be able to put down.
So many laugh out loud moments.

What will happen? Will Liam let himself love again.

Can't wait for the other brother's.
Do read Declan which is the first.

Brother's Keeper II: Liam, is full of action and had an intriguing plot that had me guessing throughout.

Liam is so much more than mystery, drama and action suspense... it's a story of family love, healing and compassion. Overcoming the past and getting your second chance.

I highly recommend this book for any romance genre reader. Stephanie St. Klaire is in a class of her own, unable to be confined to just one romance category.

Liam stole my heart. His brothers had me in stitches and gooey over how close they were and how they were ribbing each other but showed so much love and loyalty to one another. Seeing them as they watch their brother come back to them and thank Felicity for that is so emotionally beautiful your heart just warms.

Liam was lost in grief and fear that he stopped living. He forget to be the man he was and built walls. He even came close to losing his daughter but he couldn’t stop the guilt and grief. He is a good guy just lost in his own world and doesn’t know how to deal. When a threat that his brother’s can’t deal with comes to his door and threatens his family he begins his transformation. It isn’t easy and is a bumpy ride but so very worth it.

Liam is the only one who can beat Wells. A part of Felicity’s past that is coming back to haunt them. As he is coming alive at the hunt here, he begins to feel and confront his issues that he has pushed aside for so long.

Felicity is smart, funny and so kind. She is generous with her heart and lives life to it’s fullest. Her love for Liam’s daughter Reagan is right up there with her uncles who give us such entertainment when it comes to Reagan. Her past has come back and she doesn’t want anyone to be harmed. Only problem is is that the past doesn’t care what you want and it will harm anyone in it’s path of getting what it wants and here it wants felicity and all around her to hurt.

She has to put aside her feelings and let the brothers help her. And it is Liam that has to help her the most. While he is helping her unravel the truth and stop the threats, she is helping him albeit reluctantly find himself and love once again. It’s sexy, intimate, heartbreaking and heartwarming to watch. Especially that ending with his daughter just tears at your heartstrings..How precious Liam is when he comes alive again.

The story is action driven and grabs you from the beginning. We get both Liam and Felicity’s view and it is Liam’s that will have you emotional everytime as you watch him struggle to set himself free..There are twists and turns and we see the bonds and loyalty of family time and again as the brother’s race against time to stop a threat and protect the ones they love while Liam races against time to find himself and come alive once more.

Another fantastic book by Stephanie St. Klaire! We’ve met Liam in previous books but this time he is front and center. Liam is the computer geek/hacker brother of the O’Reilly clan. He is also a single father whose wife passed away years earlier. Liam works and falls for(although he will deny this) Felicity “City” a fellow computer hacker who cares for his daughter and has been taken under his family’s wing.
City has been acting strangely and Liam being worried keeps track of her and involves his brothers. City’s hacker past has caught up with her. The crime in this book is different than what the brothers are used to dealing with. The criminal is hiding behind a computer and not one that they can just easily find and deal with.
Liam realizes that since his wife has died he hasn’t even much of a father to his daughter. Even though he loves her very much he can’t quite get over the emotional hurdle that he is stuck on. He is afraid if he is too close to her and something happens to him it will be harder on her than if he keeps his distance. City and his dead wife, through letters she left before she died, help him realize he isn’t really living and doing a disservice to the life Liam and his wife had together.
Liam and City were great together. Even though Liam was in denial of his feelings for her City never pressured or pushed him into being with her. She is a strong person to take care of his daughter for years and basically love him without letting him know. It was perfect how and when they got together.
This book had some emotional scenes. I pretty much read them through tears but they were perfect and I wouldn’t want a thing to change. This was a fabulous book and I don’t know how this series just keeps getting better but it does. I am excited to read the other O’Reilly brothers books. I think you got a better feel for them in this book and I look forward to them each getting their story told.

These stories just keep getting better and better!
Liam is the hot computer nerd of Brother’s Keeper, an elite security firm based in Portland Oregon and run by the O’Reilly brothers. While not involved with the brawn of the group, he and Felicity run the computer system that keeps everyone and everything together and safe.
Felicity or ‘City’ as everyone calls her, has a history, and not one that she wants Liam and his other brothers to be involved in. Her past has caught up with her and she sets out to put the threat to rest on her own. Not a good option in the O’Reilly universe!
Liam knows City is not ‘on her game’. She’s sneaking around and he’s wondering what’s going on and sets out to find out the truth. He has concerns about City, but also about the safety of his daughter Reagan. City has been her mother figure since Liam’s wife died 7 years before. He wants to make sure they’re both safe. Enter all the O’Reilly brothers, hell bent on making sure their family, and those they consider family are safe!
Ms. St. Klaire tugs at your heartstrings as you see deeper into the loss Liam suffered when his wife died. Then she throws all that right back at you when you think harm may come to City and Reagan.
Suspense, romance, twists and turns, this is a great book and worth your while to take a few hours and enjoy. Well then there are the O’Reilly boys and who doesn’t LOVE these hot, brawny, brainy, and competent fellas!

This series is fantastic, it is full of action, tension and suspense. There are also a whole mix of emotions going on, from love and passion to fear and pain. Liam lost his childhood love to cancer, despite still having his brothers and his daughter he has been in a dark place. He loved her then lost her, the pain so bad he stopped feeling. Felicity is a friend to them all as well as a colleague, she loves Liam and his daughter as well as being like a sister to his wife before they lost her. Now though trouble has come knocking, she just wants to protect those she loves. This is heartbreaking at times, the pain so intense you almost feel as they do, it is also uplifting in many ways or at least I found it so. I love these brothers and how they support each other but will still give each other stick if its warranted, City is fabulous with all of them but especially Reagan, stepping in when she needs a female's advice. The plot is exciting and full of twists and turns that keep you guessing, it can also be a little funny at times just enough to lighten it up a bit. I love my heroes a little bit damaged, they call to my heart somehow reach inside and tug all the strings. This story had me in tears on more than one occasion, but that shows a great author in my mind, that they can get me so caught up in the book that I forget completely that it is fiction and not real life. I am straight into Luke's book so that's great as well.

What do you do when your wife dies of cancer & leaves you & your daughter behind? Liam retreats behind a wall & doesn't let anything in. He doesn't see what it's doing to his daughter until she breaks down. While Liam is battling his fear & emotions, he has a battle on his hands at work too. Brother's Keeper is a form of a security firm. They protect others & go after the bad guys. This time, instead of them going after the enemy, the enemy is coming after them and he's using Liam's specialty, technology, to do it.

Felicity was Liam's wife Cassidy's best friend. She's had feelings for Liam for a long time but hasn't acted on them. She's just been there for his daughter. She's come to feel like the O'Reilly's are her family. Now her past has come back to haunt her & she's determined to keep it away from them. Can she manage to outwit the King of Technology or will Liam figure out what she's doing?

Ms. St. Klaire had me in tears for much of this story! Liam & Reagan tore my heart out. Their interactions illustrated the way Reagan's feelings & confidence were damaged by her mother's death & her father pulling away. The letters Cassidy wrote before her death are heartbreaking & insightful. The way the brothers closed ranks around Felicity, Liam & Reagan was perfectly representative of the family's love for each other. I really can't wait to see if the author can top this story!

Such an awesome story of loss, renewal and intrigue! Liam lost his high school sweetheart to cancer but was never able to truly move on. His wife left letters for everyone and books of letters for milestones for both Liam and his daughter that were meant to help them along with the loss and just life in general. It took Liam over 7 years to be able to read his. Felicity or "City" as everyone calls her has been there for years even before Liam's wife died. She is helping raise his daughter and is always there for her and wants to be there for Liam too but Liam has closed himself off. City pushes his boundaries and helps make him see what he is missing with his daughter, with her and with his brothers. Liam's "ah-ha" moment comes when he realizes that City could be taken from him...that he could loose another woman that he loves.

This book is truly an expression of how awesome an other Stephanie St. Klaire is because of all the research that must have gone into this. She is either a reformed hacker or someone that needs to be! This book is filled with love, intrigue, sexiness and did I mention love! This family is an awesome one and I can't wait to see more of them. I need to go back and read McKenzie's Ridge because somehow I missed that awesomeness! I was offered an ARC for an honest review.

Liam is my first book from Stephanie St. Klaire. It most definitely will not be my last.
This book deserves more than 5 stars, but people gotta put limitations on everything...

This was the second book in the Brother’s Keepers series, and can be read as a complete standalone.

Liam is broken. Beyond broken really. After losing his wife years before, Liam is lost in his own heartache and he refuses to open his heart to anyone. Especially Felicity.
It’s obvious to everyone at Brothers Keeper that he wants “City” and she wants him back. But Liam isn’t willing to risk his heart again.

Felicity is running from her past. But unfortunately, her past catches up. Now, not only is she in danger, but so is everyone else around her. For the first time in seven years, Liam realizes his heart is already on the line again, and he can’t risk losing the person who opened it up.

Sigh...
Hackers, nerds, and danger. Has there ever been a sexier combination?

Well done Stephanie St. Klaire, now I need LUKE!!

This book was awesome! A sweet coming together of two people amidst one absolutely gripping suspense. Felicity came to Brothers Keeper Security because she was an amazing computer hacker, second only to Liam. She definitely gives his hacking a run for his money. But these two have been dancing around their feelings for years. It takes some time and a few harsh realities for Liam to realize that he really could love again and live life without his late wife. She finally gives in to being open about the threats from her past and allowing the O’Reilly clan to help her finally put her past where it belonged! I loved both of these characters in other books and love that they finally have their story and a HEA! Although it’s part of a series, it can be read stand alone. But I recommend reading the series! It will make some parts more understandable.

You never know what to expect from St. Klaire. Each book is different from the others that she has written. In Liam, she takes us to a high tech world in which the bad guys are almost non-detectable. They are everywhere. It is terrifying and makes it almost impossible to put the book down.
In Liam, St. Klaire uses a high tech world to terrorize her characters, but she also creates a family that loves, heals and leans on each other as they protect their own. The mix is perfection!
Liam and Felicity are drawn together in their caring for Liam's daughter, yet Liam's determination to keep a distance between them is firmly in place. Felicity (City) has brought danger to the group and is determined to take care of it by herself. The need to protect Felicity just might be what breaks down the wall Liam has put up between them--if she doesn't kill him first. A great read!

This is a fabulous read. It was a roller coaster of emotions that had me laughing one minute and crying the next. The suspense is nail bitingly superb, kept me on the edge of seat wanting to know what’s next.
Liam has been closed off to everything after his wife’s death and watching him finally open up and acknowledge his feeling for Felicity was both heartwarming and emotional . The bond and love the brothers share is just beautiful. Declan’s story was just awesome, and this is the same if not better. Can’t wait to see what the author has next in store for us.

You have got to love the O'Rielly's, they are fiercely protective of everyone they love. Liam and Felicity's story is full of emotion. I admit to having tears a few time. There is lots of action and the suspense keep building till the very end. There are so many great characters and so much story that you really don't want it to end. I look forward to the next book in this series.

I have eagerly awaited the O’Reilly Brothers story for them first moment they showed up in the McKenzie Ridge novels and now the second book is it and the anticipation was well worth it! Liam, what can I say, this book was just what I needed. I haven’t read a book in a long time that pulled at my emotions like this one did. Liam and Felicity, I won’t spoil it, this is a must read. The twist at the end was not the twist I was expecting.

In true Stephanie St. Klaire fashion, she has penned another thrilling, intense, and compelling novel. We've seen hints of Liam from her other books and it was really great to have his story, to see inside his mind and know why he acts the way he does. The suspense throws the readers through loops and bends and twists and turns that you don't see coming. The readers also get to know more about Felicity and how these two deal with their feelings for each other. There were some pretty emotional parts that I kind of ugly cried through but they were so worth it! It is a definite must read! I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Liam O'Reilly is a broken man. His wife, Cassidy, passed away leaving him to raise a daughter alone. Well, not really alone. He has his brothers and Felicity Nichols. Felicity is also an employee of his company. They recognized her talent with computers and hacking systems. Felicity was also a friend of his wife. Felicity helped Cassidy organize her life before it was gone. Cassidy was the perfect mother even from the grave leaving letters for Reagan as she grows. She also left letters for Liam and Felicity. Though Liam hasn't touched his yet. He can't seem to move on with his life after becoming a widower. His family lets him be. His daughter comes to accept no joy in her life. He lives his life behind his computers. He can't let anyone in again since he can't stand the pain of losing anyone.
Felicity has had to watch Liam suffer. She has feelings for him but can't act on them while he's still in mourning. She also has a past. At one time, she was a hacker that worked for a company that showed companies their weaknesses. Until the monies weren't given back. And Felicty discovered her boss was rerouting the money. Her family was lost at the hands of her boss. Her boss, Wells, has been contacting her again demanding the money again. Or he will be going after her new family.
The pain that Liam is carrying around killed me. He feels guilty for living while his wife isn't. It takes Regan losing a pet and breaking down after telling everyone that she doesn't want to love anything ever again just like her dad. That wakes him up in a big way. He starts to read the letters and realizes life is worth living. I absolutely loved the letters. They cover every subject that either Liam or Reagan would need.
The adventure that they go on is mostly in cyberspace. The enemy that they face is faceless. Even though the threat they face is so dangerous that they have to deal with guns with no shooters, cars with no drivers. Wells is someone Felicty has never met. She's not even sure who he really is. But he's a threat that she has to keep to herself. Until Liam watches what she's doing. He takes on her burden. He protects her. They have to use their brains instead of just brawn. And that frustrates the brothers more than anything. But Felicity is one of their own so they will do anything to protect her. There are some twists and turns just like all of Ms. St. Klaire's books. There are times I cried, held my breath and swooned.

Ohhh.  I loved this book.  I liked it a lot more than the first book.  Don't get me wrong, that first book was amazing, but I liked the storyline for this one more.

Liam, one of the O’Reilly brother twins, is as loyal and protective as the rest of the O’Reilly clan.  He lost his wife about seven years before to  cancer and has not really healed from it.   He is punishing himself with guilt and cannot move forward or allow himself to love again and it affects his daughter.

Felicity "City" as they call her, is wicked smart and has been the woman figure in Liam's daughter Reagan's life.  Her and Reagan have a real close bond, especially since Liam is there but not there.

But when danger threatens City and everyone he loves, he fights to control his feelings and protect everyone.  But can he save City before she is murdered by the past that has come back to haunt her?

This book was an emotional roller coaster ride.  Liam deals with some heavy guilt.  Afraid to live life.  He struggles so hard and when it starts affecting his daughter and City shoves it in his face, he decides that maybe it is time to make a change.  His struggle is deep.  And the letters.  Oh my!  I cried reading those letters from his dead wife.  She really was an amazing woman.

Felicity is a strong-willed and minded woman.  She is just as fiercely protective as Liam is.  She will do anything for the O’Reilly family.  We saw that in the first book, when she helped to protect baby Jax.  Her bond between her and Reagan is beautiful.  I love how she puts them before herself in all situations.

This series that Stephanie has created is an amazing world of thrills, chills and romance.  They are exciting reads that have you on the edge of your seat and guessing till the end.  It is full of twists and surprises.  Action packed thrills that will have you yelling, crying and biting your nails.  A smooth flowing story that will draw you in and wanting more.  These O’Reilly men are hot, sexy, over protective alpha males.  Did I mention they are Irish?  I love Irish men.  ;)

If you have not read these book, then I highly suggest you do.  You are missing out on a great adventure.

There is so much lose in the world it is very painful and sometimes we withdraw into ourselves. The only thing worse than losing a spouse is to lose a child. For Liam he lost the love of his life it affected him so much that he doesn’t see what it is doing to his family until it is almost too late. There is so much going on in his life it is hard to see what is right in front of him. Deal with work issues and his daughters issue is a handful now he has to deal with an enemy. Things are getting out of hand fast his world is doing a tail spin.

Felicity has a past she was Liam wife’s best friend, she is always there when needed and has helped him raise his daughter. For years now he has held a special place in her heart for Liam and his daughter it is so special they almost see like they are a family. With her past meeting her future things get very complicated. She has her hands full trying to keep the two apart and working out the issues to make the enemy go away before it all blows up in her face.

Liam has feeling for Felicity, Felicity has feeling for Liam everyone knows but them. Now with the enemy getting closer emotions are running deep can Felicity keep the people she loves safe or will they end up saving her.

Liam really stole my heart with his deep emotional feelings for the women he married, his daughter breaks my heart, together these were people who really touch your soul as you feel their pain putting in time doing what they need to, to get through another day. The author puts her readers on an emotional journey that is touching and one you can relate to. With people who are down to earth, caring and loving going through the worse thing any family can. I really enjoyed the mystery and suspense it was exciting and heart stopping. As each Liam and Felicity go through their guilty feeling, for the feeling they feel for each other thinking about the lady they both loved very dearly is so touching. The romance has a wonderful building. It is a wonderful read that really pulls you in first making you want to cry, smile and then flip and you go for another ride. I truly loved this book so much that I bought the first one. I can’t wait to read his brothers story why I am waiting for the next book in this series to come out.

Damn this book is excellent, I mean this book from the very first page had me hooked. This book can also be read as a stand alone. So don't let this being book 2 stop you from picking it up.
City is a cool character, I like how at the very beginning you see how devoted and truly cares for everyone in her make shift family.
Willing to protect them even if it means she might not make it out alive.
City's past comes back to haunt her in a bad way, she has guesses as to whom it may be. But doesn't really know. And when she tries to keep it from the brothers, they soon find out.

Liam, what can I say? He really does sound like a hot nerd. I like this character. Liam who feels he shouldn't love any other female after his wife passed, just closes up emotions. Now you can see at times he does spill with how he feels towards City, but stops himself.
His daughter however feels he can never show how he feels towards anything but his job and phone.

But when City's past catches up to her Liam feels its his fault a little bit.
And when things go wrong, I was like damn Liam say how you feel. Because we all notice it, open up a little bit. Right from the beginning I was like aww he's so cute but in annoying way. Only because he tried to keep emotions to himself.

Liam's brothers are funny, I liked how they put him in place. But yet were there to try and stop all threats.
I feel this book is about the family you can make with friends and who is there for you. And sometimes asking for help is okay, even if you think you might be protecting everyone you care about by not saying anything. It would surprise you to find that they may be able to help.
This book was a thrill from page one and will hook you from the start. If not for City being a bad ass hacker, and ass kicker, then for Liam and his surprisingly hotness or that he is a bad ass hacker as well.
It may just be me, but when you add those things and his brothers and taking down criminals by hacking them and staying one step ahead then you have yourself a thrill ride and amazing book.

Liam is book 2 in the Brother's Keeper Series. I think it could be a stand alone but I highly recommend you read the books in order. To me, I think it allowed me to connect better with the characters and get a better appreciation for the series.

Felicity (City) Nichols's past has come back to affect her present and possibly the future of not only herself but those she cares deeply for. She is attempting to handle it on her own as she wants to protect those around her.

Liam O'Reilly has noticed that City is acting strangely and keeps track of her (he keeps track of all his family members) and starts following her to make sure she's ok. He's very protective to those he cares about and to those he lives in denial of caring about. All the O'Reilly's get involved to not only protect their own but the resolve the threat. The more time Liam spends with City the more he is aware of the feelings he has for her.

Liam is still dealing (not dealing) with the loss of his wife to cancer. Because he isn't coping well it is affecting his relationship with his daughter Reagan. City and Reagan are very close.

One of the most touching things is the letters that Reagan's mom left for her. A letter for every issue/problem that Reagan will have to face as she grows up. That is so special and meaningful.

What I really loved about this book is that it has everything that I love in a book and more. The suspense, the intrigue, the romance, protective alpha males, family pulling together.

Stephanie has such an amazing way of writing that just sucks you right into the story and not letting you go until the very end. Then it has you counting down to the next book.

I did receive a free ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

In this book we have Liam, who is a computer tech nerd master mind. He does everything techy, and loves to protect his family. Liam has a young tween daughter who is coming of age. Getting her first boy crush, her first of many things. Liam doesn’t know what to do with all of her firsts and misses his wife more and more.

Felicity “City”, has been with the brother’s firm for awhile. She was caught doing some bad / good hacking and they brought her into work with their agency. City is very close to Liam’s daughter Reagan “Rage” who is now a tween. City has helped Reagan through her mother’s death and has step in as a Psyedo mom to her. City knows Liam loves working with him and his brothers. But, she knows he hasn’t moved on since his wife’s death. Everyone knows Liam is ‘stuck’ and not able to move forward with his life as he see’s it’s unfair for him to be living and her dead.

City knows someone from her past has come back to get her. She’s been tracking someone but always running into dead ends. Liam doesn’t like City trying to figure something out on her own and not trusting him and his family to help her. City confessed to them about her past and how she thinks someone is after her. This person though is using WiFi against them - hacking cars, tv’s, anything with a WiFi signal this other person can hack to get to them.

Is Liam a good enough hacker to get this other person? Will Liam and City be able to fine this person before he wrecks to much havoc on the city? Will Liam be able to move past his wife’s death?

5 “All the Feels” Stars

You know you’ve read a fantastic book when it leaves you feeling like you’ve been rode hard and put up wet. This is one of those books. St. Klaire brings out all the stops with this one. Powerful, raw and full of emotion.

Liam is a hero that is as broken as they come and it takes someone as strong and special as Felicity to break down his walls and show him how it is to feel and live again...along with a little help from his deceased wife. I loved the tremendous role his wife Cassidy still plays even though she has been gone for seven years now. The books she made and the letters she wrote before she died ripped my heart to pieces and touched me deep down in my soul. Even thinking about them now brings tears to my eyes. No mother ever wants to have to write those kinds of letters, and my heart weeps for those who have.

Stephanie St. Klaire is a powerhouse when it comes to writing beautiful stories that just suck you in from page one and keep you there until long after you’ve finished reading. The suspense in this book had me riveted and on the edge of my seat throughout its entirety. Not to mention I spent half the time with tears streaming down my face and the other half laughing at the overgrown, completely overbearing Alpha men that are the O’Reilly’s when it comes to their only niece Reagan. When trouble is literally stalking Liam, Felicity and Reagan, the O’Reilly’s rally and prove they take care of and protect their own. This one definitely left me with #allthefeels.

Liam is the second stand alone story in Stephanie St Klaire's Brother's Keeper. From the first page, I was completely hooked into this incredible story. I devoured the book in nearly one setting because I hadn't seen the twists and turns in the plot and had to know how it would end.

Liam is the protector for his family. He will stop at nothing to keep his family safe. He spends his days in his lair, keeping tabs on his company and loved ones. Liam is a genius. Well a tech genius. When it comes to real life, he might be a little behind the times. He is still grieving from the loss of his wife and has no idea how to move on. Felicity has been there all along helping his daughter and unknowingly him, in the absence of his wife.

Felicty has been the one constant in holding Liam and his daughter together. She will stop at nothing to protect the ones she loved. When her past comes to haunt her, she has no where to run or hide, because it has the ability to reach anywhere. Technology is a great thing, but left in the hands of the wrong people, it just might be what ends it all.

I loved this unique storyline featured in this book. It made me feel all the feels. I my heart raced as the twists and turns unfolded, I nearly sobbed during the times I was wrecked and I laughed out loud at the antics the O'Reilly brothers would resort to. I absolutely love this series. Stephanie St Klaire has the ability to weave multiple storylines across a stand a lone series and completely keep my interest. Book three cannot come out soon enough!
