•Edge
Being the Sergeant at Arms of the Rugged Skulls MC, my job is to be on guard, always. Making sure my club, my people, my brothers are safe is what I live for, and that included taking in my nephew when my brother messed up. My priority is, and has to be, making sure those who are important are safe and happy, which meant having to let the one woman who owns my heart go so she could live her life. But now, she is coming home and she WILL know what it is like to be owned by me, when I officially call dibs.

•Synclare
My time living it up at College, far away from home has come to an end and that means I’m back. Stepping back into my old life, running the family business with my father and brother is how it was always meant to go. My one problem is that there is a certain biker who wants me as his. I have to keep my wits about me because I know I will fall hard and heavy for him if I give in. He hurt me once, and he can easily do it again if I let him, but I’m not a naïve little girl anymore. I can and WILL be the one who grabs him by the balls and keeps him on his toes. Bring on the challenge.

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK decent reads
=======================

It has been four years since I last saw the biker who ripped my heart out, stamped all over it, and then fed it to the sharks.

He made sure I walked in on him fucking one of the Rugged Reg’s one night. He told me that I was a little girl, and if I wanted to be with him, I needed to learn how to handle a man like him; I needed to become a woman first.

River has always had his reservations about my relationship with his sister, maybe because he saw me fuck other women after she left.

What I did that night, seeing her face, will always haunt me. But it was a must.

“Oh, I know about how you can go all night, Edge,” Steph pipes in, and fuck my life, Syn tenses up and even tries to push away from me, but I hold her firm.

“You’re right, it was stupid. You’re a little girl with a stupid girl crush. I like my women to be old enough to fucking drink and know how to suck a cock. Now leave and don’t come back. Go live your life, Syn; experience what the big bad world can offer you.”

I knew she dated while away at school— hell, I fucked random women for a time— but it hurts, nonetheless.

While you were fucking woman after woman, I was in college fucking other men. Did you honestly think I would stay a virgin waiting for you one day? Hell fucking no. It is not one rule for you and one rule for me.”

I thought we were friends, and for you to be so cold, distant, and disrespectful, gutted me.

The anger, hate and disappointment that this man made me feel, came crashing back down on me.

“He called me childish and said that I was playing games. He then told me that Hendrix wasn’t my concern. So, I left. We are done. Enough already.”

“How fucking stupid could you be to bring that shit here? To bring it around Drix? He is a fucking baby, for fuck’s sake, and you— you, Syn, put him in danger. You had to know they would chase you down, follow you here. I thought you weren’t that stupid, but clearly I was fucking wrong.”

I shrug. “Let me have it. What, am I doing prospect duty, or some shit like that? You going to banish me to another charter? What about bros over hoes?”

I, for one, really fucking hope she doesn’t forgive you. She deserves someone who will love her and her mistakes.”

So it’s really difficult to review a book you have waited for ages to get ahold of as you build it up to unrealistic heights. I am a huge fan of this author and have really enjoyed the books in the series, Edge’s book was good, I enjoy push pull and love angst which was in this book. I however wanted to slap both main characters often, the heroine for her early folding to the hero and all her panting and wet panties ! I need a strong heroine who expects grovel, in the beginning not enough for me personally, and the hero well, three strikes and you’re out ! Okay he redeemed himself or did he ? but not before I had built up my frustration levels and was spitting fire. It was a good story and I will read it again, Amy Davies certainly brought out all emotions and I read it in one sitting. Looking forward to Zeb’s book. Loved the club, liked the book.

I’ve so been waiting for this one!!

Holy hell this book was a roller coaster. I have been waiting with bated breath for Edge and Synclare’s story since the very beginning— and it was a wild ride. SPOILERS AHEAD..

For someone who has has been waiting for Synclare for four years — when he finally had her back— he did nothing but break her heart over and over again. Honestly—I wanted to kill him many times and I was kind of surprised how quickly Synclare would forgive him. But this was building up to a gut wrenching climax between Edge and Synclare and I was utterly riveted by what was happening. I was SO shocked at the things that Edge said to her. Things that you can’t come from. I was bawling for her. I totally agree that she should have told the club and especially Edge what was going on. But my God Edge just gutted her. It made for some amazing reading but it was utterly heartbreaking. I just adored how all the brothers had her back and totally laid into Edge. (It reminded me of how Edge had Risky’s back in book one when Magnum turned on her. How ironic lol).

Anyway... Edge has a lot of soul searching to do. Of course he realizes his horrid mistake. I just think he should have had to work a little harder and truly earn Synclare’s forgiveness this time. Because as loveable as a character that he has been through through this entire series— I feel like he f—cked up the most. Which is again kind of ironic and a good twist.

I loved the epilogue. I loved hearing about everyone’s new families. I will truly miss these guys and their ol’ ladies!!

Cheating = not really; H & h were not together, but H knew h was in love with him so set it up for h to walk in on him banging a club ho (although he later claims it was staged)
OWD = none really other than other females coming on to H which he shut down
Grovel = H said many horrible things to h, like many times, and in the end the grovel lasted all of a 5 minute conversation where H says he will go and stay out of h's life and she says stay. Insert eye roll.

Predictable but good.

Man Whore bikers? Check. Catty, jealous, shit starting club bitches? Check. Strong, independent Old Ladies? Sometimes...
Don't get me wrong. I love it. But sometimes I want to reach into the book and slap the hell out of some of these characters!! Why would any of the women let one of those floozies get to them?!? Automatically believe the crap they say without finding out for themselves. It really irks me. You are going to take the word of some jealous, bitter ho bag? For some reason, I didn't like Della. She just rubbed me the wrong way. Just not a favorite. And Synclare? I'm not sure she was a good fit for Edge. She pissed off another club and thought she could handle them by herself? Even when they were shooting at her and Drix, she still wasn't going to say anything. She put Edge's son in Danger, but still silence from her. What exactly made her think she could handle a whole ass MC by herself? They already beat her best friend. I have no idea what she thought she could do. I will say it again, but communication is KEY in a relationship. Too much bullshit happens without it. Stupid misunderstandings that could have been solved my opening their damn mouths. For talking. A closed mouth does not get fed.

Absolutely Brilliant

I was pulled into story from the beginning, staying there until I had read every single word that was written. I even had my mini movie playing along in my head, which for me personally makes the story even better.
Twists, turns and surprises await you throughout this story. Some of the surprises are large, while others are small. Some you may see coming while others you won't. Some will pull on your heart strings and others may hit you hard. Each and everyone of the surprises hold equal importance within the story making it a truly fantastic story.
The emotions that the characters go through can be felt, each and everyone. I did find myself getting frustrated at the main male character a time or two, but he redeemed himself. I went through each emotions that the characters went through, I don't mind admitting I cried a few times, so if your anything like me, you might want to have the tissues handy.
Any Davis has done again a story not to be missed. If you haven't read anything by this author you are missing out on an awesome experience.
I wish we could give it more than 5 stars because me it is worth more.
Loved the story from a truly amazing author.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Edge is the sixth book in the ‘’rugged skulls MC’’ series.
I devoured this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. Edge thought he was doing what was best when he broke Synclare’s heart. For years he has waited for her to return from college. Synclare wants nothing to do with Edge but will she change her mind?
The chemistry between Edge and Synclare is clear to see and I liked them together. That being said, there were several times I wanted to kick Edge. He seemed to get chance after chance with Synclare.
I loved Edge’s bond with Hendrix
I also loved Syn’s bond with Hendrix.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from Amy Davies.

Loved It!!!

-Edge and Synclare-
I’ve been wanting to read Edges story ever since I started the Rugged Skulls series. Throughout the whole series, you hear about how Edge has already called “dibs” on a woman that he hurt a long time ago. See, he knew Syn loved him but didn’t want to hold her back from growing up and finding herself, so he made sure she caught him with a club girl. He also said some things that pushed Syn over the edge and made her leave.
Four years later, Syn moves back home after college and is all grown up. But Edge has also done some growing up of his own. He has also taken his nephew and is raising him as his own.
There are a few times where I just wanted Syn to be done with Edge. There is only so many times you can hurt a woman before she will be done with you for good.
Through heartbreak, danger, and love, Edge and Syn fight to find their happily ever after!
I can’t wait to read the spin offs of this series!!

What a ride

This story is the one we knew would be the end to the ride. We knew it would be crazy with the info we got from the others but we had zero preparation for where this would go and how much crazier it would get...while I love seeing these men own up and !I've forward from their mess ups and putting their foot he'll their damn legs in their mouths I wanted to hit Edge more then the rest. Syn was the strongest best of all the women and boy I loved her!! While I get their connection and the forgiveness I just had it with Edge, I was over him , and I didn't forgive him with her. Happy to see the lobe and resolutions but I really wanted more from the last twist .

I really didn’t like Edge at all. I know he had his reasons for pushing Syn away but it was cruel, IMO. He spent so much time backpedaling and then apologizing. Get your head outta your ass, man! I just wanted to slap him but he did redeem himself in the end.

I loved Syn’s character. She grew up a lot from the four years she was away into a strong, independent person. Also became a fierce mama to little Drix. There is a special place in Heaven for children born with disabilities.🥰

Sad it’s the end of the road for these guys. Some books in this series I liked better than others but for the most part they were good. Maybe there will be a second gen with all of the boys popping out????

I liked the story of a couple who had a thing for each other and came together after she did some maturing. But I loved that both of them were comfortable with themselves, who they are, and their sexuality. I also loved that the club was open minded, as well as a shout out for the differently abled.

Left me feeling melancholy

Edge... The last one of the series didn't disappoint.

Great story, hawt, great feisty heroine who cracked me up at times with her mouth. Action filled and a bit of angst!
Loved the epilogue which left me hankering for more but I know Amy is writing Rugged Ink (which she has been setting up nicely since Sarge's book) so I'm sure the boys will pop up there.
That epilogue also left things open for a NG series which would be awesome.

Well done Amy on a great series.

Between 3 and 4 Stars

While I enjoyed the story I feel it was missing something.
Synclare has loved Edge forever but he broke her heart.
Edge loves Synclare but knows he's not ready for her, knows he's not in a good place mentally. War screwed him up so he pushes her away.
When she comes back home 4 years later, Edge is determined to make her his. In the process of trying to win her back he says awful things to her. He didn't even grovel for the way he treated her. The things he said were devastating and she just took him back.
The author should have made him work for it.

Wow!

This 6th instalment of the Rugges Skulls MC series is worth the read for the epilogue alone!
Warning: you are going to want to smack Edge upside his head several times in this book. Syn is the perfect woman for Edge with all his nonsense because she doesn’t put up with any of it. I’m looking so forward to everything that is eluded to in this book! Bring on Rugged Ink and Rugged Skulls MC next generation!!!!

Need more

As always one hell of a good story. I love Syn, she is one tough strong willed woman. Edge was really an ass, but he did redeem himself. This series is one of my favorites. The men are badass alpha males, and the woman bring them to their knees. Hopefully this is not the end of the Rugged Skulls MC.

Holy hotness.

First things first I love a guy with long hair them to add to that he is a biker and an alpha biker at that. What more could you want. Amy does a spectacular job describing Edge and the other guys in her books. It’s like they are real and you can see the, as you read. Not all authors can do that but she does it perfectly. Great book.

Edge and Syn

A wild and crazy ride to on with Edge and Syn. Another fantastic addition to this series. Boy did these two have a push and pull, angsty and rocky road. At times I was frustrated with both of them but let me tell you, I was on the edge of my seat cheering them on. Great story!

Edge & Syn

It took them forever to here, but not was their story worth the wait. The distrust, pain, love, chemistry on man did these two have a rocky start at a second chance. They held strong and pulled through and I loved going on this ride with them. I can't wait to see more from the men and women of the Rugged Skills MC.

I really wanted to read this one after book 1 but after reading it Edge is a dick not once but 3 times. So very noble of you to screw a REG and let the woman you care so much about see you, then to not once but twice blow your temper so cruelly was unforgivable.

I don't need to read any more, these guys have a pattern of really screwing up and the women forgive.

Good Read

I really liked reading Edge and Synclare’s story, especially after it being hinted at throughout the series. I’m not sure I would have been as forgiving as Synclare but I was happy to see the characters eventually get their HEA. I also loved the epilogue. I would recommend both the book and the entire series.

Good

I liked this book a lot. It was sad to see the series come to a end. But it was a great set of books. Edge's book was the way to end it. We got to meet Syn and she was the perfect old lady. Great chemistry between them .

Edge's lady arrives

Edge messed up on Synclare many years ago and he did on purpose. She wanted to stay in town instead of accepting going to school out of state. Now she's back and he's pledged to get her back. It takes some finagling but he succeeds.

This was a very good read!

Good end to series

Good ending to the series. My one irk, Syn forgave Edge far too easy time and time again. Good storyline, great set up for the next generation books. A little more editing would have caught the spelling mistakes, but overall good.
