The sweetest little and his doting Daddy.
875 miles and one year of college keeping them apart.

Colin has the most awesome Daddy that any little could ever want. But, there’s one problem— Daddy has to move away to a new state. The only thing standing in his way of joining Daddy is finishing up his last year of college. Will Colin be able to survive the infrequent flights between them?

Frank's lucky enough that his much younger boyfriend still wants him to be his Daddy even in a long-distance relationship. Now, all Frank has to do is find creative ways of engaging Colin's little side virtually. Will he be able to pull off being a caregiver from almost a thousand miles away or will Colin’s little require more than Frank can give?

If you enjoy low angst age play with ABDL, Daddy bears, and smart littles, you’ll enjoy Ginger Kisses.

This book was expanded from the original novella which was published for Ms. Holmes’s newsletter subscribers. The full novel includes Daddy’s POV and is more than twice the original word count.

Still good.

--------------------------------

Now this I really liked!

I wasn't sure how there could be a whole book about an established couple without it being dull, but it really wasn't. It was amazing.

Since this book starts out with Frank and Colin trying their best at a long distance relationship, it had this great build-up. There was pining! There was insecurity! There was longing! It was amazing.

This was such a sweet age play book. And we even got some lovely hurt/comfort in the second half. I really liked this.

4 stars...

So I'm a sucker for a Daddy kink book. I'm always looking for a book that would blow me away like some of my favorites.

This book was sweet, with minimum angst and steam.

What I loved....

- The Characters:
I loved Sweet Ginger and Daddy Frank. they were right for each other and complemented each other nicely.
Frank was a great Daddy, even in a long distance relationship, and i loved how even then he made sure to give time to his boy.

Ginger was a sweet boy. I felt for him through the book, and the need to just stop being an adult and go to his little space.

- The Plot...
It revolves around them tackling a long distance relationship. I think this was done really well. the author showed the obstacles both MCs went through during this LDR, and how it really feels to be in one... especially for a daddy-little relationship.

- The Romance...
it was a cute feel good romance for the most part. There was no angst between the MCs but a little external stuff that created a bit conflict, which resolves pretty quickly.

- The Steam...
Medium seam and it was hot! Frank is a thorough lover.

- The kink...
This was my first ABDL daddy kink and I was a bit weary going in. I didn't know how I would like binkies, diapers and stuff. I found that it was really well done, I actually enjoyed it and found myself smiling when Ginger was doing little stuff.

- The HEA..
It for the mood of the story. I loved where we left them, even though I would've loved a bonus story far into the future as well.

Slight niggles...
- The Relationship Status...
There was always uncertainty from both MCs which didn't really make sense. I mean two people have a long distance relationship. being exclusive and ditching condoms, being in a daddy-little relationship, wearing a cock-cage..
All of these scream long-term for me... so the uncertainty was a bit illogical.

- There were some slip-ups where Ginger called Frank by his given name.

We love a bi MC! Our MC in this is openly bi and has an ex wife and a teenage daughter. He also has a boyfriend who lives across the country.

I kinda love established couple stories when they're done well. We can avoid the "will they won't they of course they will" nonsense and focus on couples and their struggles once they're already in a relationship.

This is an age play romance with ABDL and a significant age gap. I think the age play was really well done and I genuinely enjoyed this couple and their struggles and worries about navigating a long term relationship until they could be together.

I also really appreciated that while the ex wife wasn't very nice in the beginning, she's never the enemy or the villain of this story. She's a woman struggling with her own issues and pain and taking it out on the wrong people.

All in all, a super solid story.

Colin and Frank are in a boy/Daddy long distance relationship. For me, this needed a lot more play between them and a lot less of Frank's ex-wife and kid. The vindictive ex-wife got really old really quick. The 13 year old daughter was fine but it felt like a lot of time was spent setting up that relationship while the long-distance just lingered in the background. Again, Colin's clinically serious anxieties (to the point of not eating or sleeping, fainting spells, etc) were not sufficiently addressed beyond needing to be closer to Frank. This kind of codependent relationship doesn't always bug me but it did here and it felt irresponsible to paint it in such a cavalier light. I did like the age play scenes but the long-distance setup made it difficult for them and me as a reader.

I thoroughly enjoyed this entire story! I loved that the glimpse of the relationship between the MCs was after they’d been together a while. There was an ex-wife, a best friend, a guy after one of the MCs, a best friend with boy issues, etc. There were just so many aspects to this story that were taken on and so well done, it was lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed this read.

Holy crap, I love Gianni Holmes' Ginger Kisses! Everything about it is amazing. I was immediately drawn into this story and couldn't put it down.

If you are into age play romances, you NEED this book.
If you are into sweet romances, you NEED this book.

A Daddy and a little having a long distance relationship. All of the issues that arise for these two are mesmerizing. Colin is in college, needing to finish up his degree. Meanwhile, Frank is on the other side of the country, having moved there to be with his daughter.

In addition to their distance, they have some other issues to deal with. Frank's ex. Introducing Colin to his daughter. Figuring out their future plans. And more.

This story is a perfect combination of sweet and heart wrenching. The angst isn't present throughout, but oh man, when it's there, it's so tear jerking.

There's binkies, blankies, and pull ups. Wet pull ups. It doesn't get any better. Oh wait, it does. There's some suckling involved too, which is a new to me read. And it's so damn tender.

And if I didn't love Colin already, I absolutely am in love with the fact that Colin can't hide his little side. As his Daddy says, Colin breaks into his little side so easily.

But by far my favorite aspect is the relationship between Colin and Hailey. Just adorable. I was definitely worried about how this would play out, but it wasn't at all how I thought. It's precious. Absolutely precious. I love it all!

Of course, Frank's ex wife is a pain in the ass, and adds some stress to the tale. No surprise there.

The writing is fabulous, as I expected. I appreciate the way Gianni develops a story. Everything works well and perfectly draws the reader into the emotions, keeping the reader thoroughly invested throughout.

Overall, Ginger Kisses is a heartwarming Daddy romance. Gianni Holmes brings all the feels to this age gap romance. I love every single moment of this amazing gem.

But I am left wanting more. I want Peter and Jeff's story. I want Elise's story. I want Fitz's story.

If you happened to read the novella that was released as a freebie in December 2020, be sure to pick this one up. It's the same sweet story, but with double the content and double the sweetness.

I really like getting Frank’s POV this time. That really made me feel better about things that happened. My only real complaint is about Frank’s ex. I’m just so tired of bitchy women in mm romance. Yes. We can be bitches, but not every woman is. I hate when a woman is portrayed that way for some unnecessary drama. The story would have been just fine if she’d have been nice.

I absolutely adored Colin and Frank. They were so wonderful together. I really loved reading a book about an established couple and the difficulties of a long distance relationship. My heart ached for them both. I just wanted to hug them. I also thought that the issues with Frank's ex wife were handled really well, in a very respectful and realistic way. And I loved the friendship between Colin and Frank's daughter. All the side characters were pretty amazing actually. Christie was a great best friend and I really enjoyed her plot. Fitz was really fun and I really really really need to read Peter and Jeff's story. Amazing book, wonderful writing, amazing characters and a beautiful love story. I highly recommend it.

I read the first half of this book in a giveaway and I enjoyed so much the sweet story that I needed to read the complete version. It was interesting to read about Colin and his Daddy Frank and all the issues a long distance relationship can cause. Ms Holmes managed in a very knowledgeable way their story stealing my heartwarming with all Colin's struggles and vulnerability and Frank love and protectiveness. A wonderful treat!

NOW HERE WE GO. This is what I needed. A romance story that ticks all my boxes and is well-rounded: angst, hurt/comfort, a BDSM lifestyle (Daddy/little), sweet, family connections, and a great HEA. Generally don’t read things with established couples but so worth it. I’ve been in a LDR before and I connected with Colin so much on how difficult it can be. I cried more than once in this story. The steam was 🔥🔥🔥, scenes well-written, especially the phone-sex one.

This was previously published as a shorter story but I didn’t end up reading that one. I decided to wait for the longer version so I can’t really compare between the 2.

I did like that I had both Colin and Frank’s POV. This story starts after they’re already established as a couple. They’d been together almost 2 years already and Frank had already moved away while Colin stayed behind to finish school. We get a bit of an explanation on how they got together and stuff so I’m happy for that but I still felt like I was missing something. It’s the feeling I get when there are characters in a book that feels like they were in a previous book. I don’t like that.

Also, I kinda felt meh about the whole ex-wife and kid situation with Frank. I’ve read books that included this before but I didn’t feel too happy about it here. I don’t know if it was the fact that the ex-wife kept insisting that Frank cheated on her with Colin while they were married or what.

I also felt a bit irritated when Frank had promised Colin that he’d fly him up there for Thanksgiving but then backed out because his daughter got in trouble at school. I sort of get it but I also felt sad for Colin at the same time. Not a cool thing for a Daddy to do to his Little.

All in all the story was good. I enjoyed the writing style and I felt like some of the characters could have their own books, maybe? Jeff and Peter, Fitz and the Doctor, Christie and her 2 lovers. 🤔 I’d totally read about all of them.

This book has age play/regression, binkies, onesies, bottles, wearing a diaper and using it.

3.5⭐️

Ginger Kisses by Gianni Holmes is a very sweet love story between a Daddy in his 40’s and his Little Boy in his early 20’s. When the story opens Daddy Frank has been with his Boy Colin for a while and they are in love. Unfortunately Daddy was married before and has a 13 year old daughter. His wife is resentful and has moved to Portland, Maine, for a new job and taken their daughter with her. Since Daddy knows he needs to be in his daughter’s life he has moved his business there, too. But Colin was in college and it was decided that he would stay in Columbus to finish school. When the story starts it is Thanksgiving time before his last semester before graduating. The story continues from there with the angst of not seeing each other and making due with talking and playtime over Facetime. Then Colin visits Daddy in Portland and meets his ex-wife, daughter, and makes 2 new friends. He does not want to leave after his 3 week Christmas visit and things deteriorate when he gets back to college. I don't want to give away any more so you will have to read the book to find out what happens. I have read many of Ms. Holmes’ books and I am constantly amazed at the different kinds of M/M books she writes from dark and dangerous to very sweet. Daddy/Boy stories are one of my favorite genres so this book was right up my alley and I loved all of it. It has stayed with me long after I finished it. This is one of my favorite books by this author and I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to read her next book.

I loved this book back when it was released as a short story and when I heard that an extended version was coming I couldn't wait..
Getting to see more of Daddy Frank and his boy, Colin, I absolutely loved seeing more of Frank’s perspective in this longer version. Having made the hard decision to move his business to stay close to his Daughter Frank wants to keep his relationship going so they have a long distance one while Colin is finishing school, as Frank doesn't want him to quit. This type of relationship is hard for anybody but I think it made the relationship even harder for these two as Daddy and boy because even though they had virtual dates and playtime, they both love it when they are actually together.
I adored Frank and Colin’s love and how they handled being apart til Christmas, colins understanding that his daddy couldn't see him at thanksgiving because of problems with his daughter. Colin’s breakdown when he went back to school was so sad, but I kind of seen it coming because he really didn't want to leave after Christmas, but I feel it was right that Frank encouraged him to finish school and then I cheered when colons friend contacted Daddy Frank and he showed up and did right by him.
It was a truly Amazing story and I so enjoyed the epilogue. I would love to see more though in sepereate books for the side characters especially Jeff and his boy..

I read the first bit of this book in its novella format and was so excited to hear that it was being expanded into a full-length novel. It did not disappoint.

If you're looking for a sweet, age-play novel with low angst, this is the book for you.

What I truly enjoyed about Ginger Kisses is the established relationship between the two MCs. No longer was I forced to endure the meet-cute and subsequent insta-love often found with age-play novels. That's not to say the relationship was concrete enough to not have its own struggles.

There's a forced long-distance, a petty ex-wife, and Frank has a daughter, while Colin is in his last year of college. Of course, there is mild angst that spans all of these elements, but watching these two overcome them both individually and as a couple made my heart sing.

My absolute favorite bit of the book was watching Frank take over his Daddy role in full force when Colin needed him the most and didn't want to admit it. It showed all the aspects of Daddy/little dynamics that I adore. Just enough of a tease from the side characters that have me wishing and praying for another book in this series (you'll know who I mean when you read it).

Overall, it was a refreshing spin on age-play and I highly recommend it. 5/5 stars.

This is for the short version.

Stories with Daddies and Littles just isn't my thing. I've tried, many times, but there is something about the whole dynamic that makes me uncomfortable. If this was just an age difference story without the daddy/little aspect I would have really liked it. Colin and Frank were great characters and Hailey was a plus, now Julie on the other hand... lol yeah, it would take me a long time to warm up to her. Christie was a good character and friend to Colin but I needed more of her to get to know her better.

Overall, not a bad story. Unfortunately, as much as I'm curious to read Frank's side I won't be buying the longer version. If only it wasn't a daddy/little story. *sigh*

Colin and Frank are an established couple that are trying to make a long distance relationship work. Frank decided to move to where his teen daughter and ex-wife went so he wouldn't miss out on watching his daughter grow up. This meant leaving his younger, and little, boyfriend to finish his last year of college. Frank and Colin make it work with plenty of gifts and video call playdates. Finally its Christmas break and Colin is going to spend three weeks with his Daddy. But what will happen when Colin meets the daughter, the ex, and Frank's friends? There is plenty of fun, heart, and a few tears throughout this story. The minor characters are a wonderful addition and kept me engaged in the plot. Bonus points for the title of the book popping up in the story. I love it when an author does that.

Though I didn’t necessarily enjoy the writing style of this story, it was nowhere near a DNF.

Frank and Colin are super sticky sweet, but absolutely not in a sickly “I just can’t take it”way, at least in my opinion.

I adore a good age gap/DaddyKink story and this one delivered. Frank is a super dedicated and supportive Daddy. Colin is precious, loving, funny, intelligent, and driven. Readers will be inspired by the work these two put in to their long distance relationship, it’s quite inspiring.
My biggest complaint for ‘Ginger Kisses’ is that the reader isn’t given any insight into how the Daddy/boy relationship began. Even reading a book about an established couple, I appreciate a bit of background information. The reader learns details about the start of their romantic relationship but not the D/b dynamic.

This is such a sweet and cuddly Christmassy romance, with some light touches of low angst. Frank and Colin are about the most adorable, affectionate and loving Daddy/boy couple I've read, long-distance or not, I enjoyed how they delight simply being in each other's company.

As the author makes clear, age play with ABDL features prominently here so that shouldn't be a surprise. It's a part of who Colin is and is fully intertwined in his relationship with Frank and in their story. And speaking of stories, hopefully Frank's friends Jeff and Peter will be getting their own as well. I received an advance reading e-copy of this book and have left this honest review voluntarily. Molto carino.
