What was supposed to happen:

What actually happened:
We got drunk, stole the ring, and got married instead.

This officially makes me the worst best friend in the history of best friends.
Yes, I sound like a mess but I promise I wasn’t always this way.
When your fiancé dumps you right before the wedding, it shreds your life into pieces.
And when you’re forced to start over, you make idiotic mistakes.
My mistake looks like a wedding ring and a marriage certificate.

My accidental “husband” is devilishly handsome and obscenely rich.
But he’s also a jerk.
A fact that I forgot while I was letting loose in Vegas.

But I can fix this. Of course, I can.
Unless something stops me.
Something like… another accident.
One that looks like a baby!

Kenny and Vicky will take you on a roller coaster ride for sure. From a stolen wedding ring, a drunken wedding in Vegas and a baby surprise - things definitely don't get boring. This was a cute romance that was part of the Playing with Trouble Series. It's read as a standalone but I recommend that you read the first book so you can get to know the characters. No shortage of being stubborn or dramatic. This book will keep you laughing as you root for this couple to overcome their differences and have a happy ever after. i read a free arc via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Vicky has gone through a rough breakup, seeing a therapist while running her candle shop and was on the road to change. Kenny was adopted by a family who didn’t/don’t treat him well and he grew up to be a rich jerk. Kenny and Vicky met on a blind date which of course was a disaster he termed her the nut job and she termed him the jerk. Now the attraction and chemistry was there for the two of them on this blind date but since the date was horrible neither of them wanted to take the time to explore the connection. With the help of his brother and her best friend they end up spending time together, they drink and drink and of course the attraction they felt from day one is still there and they give in to it. We all know alcohol and attraction ends up with them married and they are forced to spend time with each other, and they realize fate placed them together and chemistry wins to a point will they find their own HEA?

This is my very first Summer Brooks book and definitely won’t be my last. I went into this story not reading Jack and Emma’s book but still felt a great connection with all the characters. I can honestly say that I was weary of Vicky and didn’t think I would like her yet she turned into this vibrant, lovable person after starting her relationship with Kenny. I did feel for Vicky’s struggle with the depression she felt after her wedding was called off due to her cheating fiancé and can see why she is skeptical of men and has no desire of giving Kenny a chance. I immediately liked Kenny and appreciated how he has grown to the successful man that he is. He and Vicky had been on one blind date, and while Vicky thought of him as nothing but a jerk, Kenny felt the instant connection to her. After a family/friends trip to Vegas, Kenny and Vicky accidentally wed but decide to give their relationship a trail. Summer Brooks kept this plot interesting, included great twists, and left me craving Shen and Roe’s story!

Vicky and Kenny went on a date two years ago, it went badly and since then despite an attraction, they both deny they have avoided each other as much as possible. That is until they ended up in each others company during a trip to Las Vegas arranged by his brother and her best friend.

Two years is a long time and they have both matured since their disastrous date, they end up spending time together, they drink too much and give in to the attraction they both feel and the next morning they wake up married! They decide to stay married for the next three months during which time they will be able to get to know each other properly but will they discover that they have more than chemistry going for them? Could their relationship work?

This book flows well, the characters are well-drawn and the plotline includes some moments of humour as well as drama and intrigue along with some very hot chemistry.

A fun read following immediately on the heels of (Secret) Baby with my Best Friend's Ex. Although they both knew of each other, Vicky and Kenny had never met until they were set up on a blind date. They were attracted to each other, but each knowing the other's history, the date was a bust.
Two years later, Emma and Jack have a second child and Jack wants to ask Emma to marry him. So the plan is for Jack, Emma, Kenny, Vicky and two friends to head to Las Vegas for a well earned vacation.
While there Kenny and Vicky are dancing around each other, the attraction is still there, but Vicky has sworn off men. But, one night spent drinking, dumb thinking in a town like Las Vegas,, Vicky and Kenny end up married. Then the question is, do they stay married or not?

After a horrible date two years prior Vicky and Kenny have avoided each other every since. Now they are on a trip arranged by friends and have to be around each other and things get very complicated for them. After drinking way too much they give in to the attraction they have been fighting. The next morning the wake up and find themselves married to each other. Instead of immediately ending it they stay married and soon discover that there are things that they like about each other. But is it enough for them to stay together forever?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is a fantastic romcom that will have you hooked from page one...
A weekend in Vegas for a surprise wedding proposal turns into an accidental marriage after a night of bar hopping and drinking....
She once was materialistic and the only thing she wanted was to find herself a rich man...after being dumped the day before her wedding .....its taken Vicky two years to be the independent woman that she is now......now she finds herself in bed with her ex boyfriends brother.....her best friends engagement ring on her finger.....and married to a man that once called her a nut job........
I will not give any more spoilers...you really recommend this book

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Vicky and Kenny had a date a couple of years ago that ended in disaster. Neither thought highly of the other. They are brought back together by her best friend and his brother. A night full of drinking finds themselves married. These two might have chemistry and attraction but they still have baggage that effects everything. They reach an agreement but even that changes with an unexpected addition to their marriage. The story is full of humor, drama, lust and love. I enjoyed this book

Two years ago Kenny and Vicki went on a rather disastrous first and last date. Since then, they have denied any attraction until they go on a group trip to Las Vegas. People change and mature in a few years and Kenny and Vicki spend time together, enjoy each others company, and in a drunken moment of madness, get hitched in Vegas! Instead of running for the nearest divorce court, they decide to spend 3 months together and see if the chemistry and attraction is real. Well paced story, steamy fun, great characters, overall a fun read.

I loved Kenny and Vicky. Their chemistry was off the charts.
Kenny's brother was supposed to take the ring and get engaged to Vicky's best friend but Vicky and Kenny ran off and got hitched.
I loved the dynamic between them. Kenny is just so hot and Vicky is sweet but they spar. The dialogue is great In this. The sassy comebacks and unusual situations they get themselves into made me laugh. It was funny for sure. And having to answer to his brother and her friend. Classic!
This was a great book and one I'll go back to again sometime.

Summer Brooks is my go to for funny yet romantic stories. I loved this how a magical moment for her friend turns into a cluster. Kenny and Vicki take the ring that was not for her and run off to get married. Now she has to fix the mess they caused. The dialogue is wonderful and I laughed quiet a few times. The characters were wonderful I liked Vicki and Kenny together. I read the first story and that made this story that much more enjoyable. I also have the rest of the series. I was complete entertained and totally satisfied when the story ended.

Oh my gosh this was a girl who made mistakes of the epic proportions!! Dumped by her fiance right before the I do check. Steal, I mean seriously! Steals her best friends engagement ring and gets married to a handsome jerk? Because of course hes gotta be a jerk who just happens to get you pregnant yep, cant get much worse. ....or can it? this story had me laughing and smacking my head throughout it all! Absolute hilarity must read for sure! Couldn't put it down!!!!

Real- wife & husband

(Accidentally) Married to the Jerk is book two in the series Playing with Trouble by author Summer Brooks. Incredibly entertaining storyline that touches the heart. This is Vicky’s story - she’s a bit much - a little lost- yet through all her up and downs she perseveres. Kenny is also a little lost- very sure is f himself- ok I was trying to be nice he’s a JERK. Together they are on a whirlwind journey journey of life.
Chuckles and head shaking is a definite.

I must confess I read better stories from this writer, but overall a nice read.
I have a feeling it's part of a series, because it started quite abrupt with Vicky and her broken marriage, Emma her best friend having 2 kids with vicky's ex boyfriend and her after her cancelled wedding on a blind date with her ex boyfriends brother.
The story was nice overall, just a bit rushed on some parts and Vicky has some serious emotional problems, which makes het sound like a immature whining teenager half the time.

This book can be read as a standalone, but is better if you read Secret Baby With My Best Friends Ex. We meet Kenny, Jack's brother, plus more of their inner circle (I want Shen and Roses story!) Vicky gets a chance to redeem herself here and have a shot at a real love. The story is fast paced, cute, A little hot and an overall pretty fun reading.

It everything I expected from a Summer Brooks story!!

Summer Brooks has done it again. I loved Accidentally Married to the Jerk so much I couldn't put it down! It everything I expected from a Summer Brooks story. I have been waiting patiently for this book and absolutely fell inlove with it. What happens when you go out on blind date and it's your exs brother? Vicky has been through so much but finally got herself and life back on track until she ends up married in Vegas. Kenny has struggled all his life so when he runs into Vicky will sparks fly? Great story and absolutely loved it

Love Vicky and Kenny

Vicky has grown as a person and is trying to get her business to the next level. Her best friend Emma invites her and a few friends to go away. She goes and sees Kenny her ex boyfriend’s brother. Kenny is also in a place with his new business. The attraction between Vicky and Kenny is crazy intense. What happens when you steal your brother’s engagement ring and marry his ex girlfriend? Great characters and storyline. Highly recommended Awesome book

Vicky and Kenny have a past but it didn't work out so when they end up married in Vegas after a night of drinking everyone was surprised. Loved the crazy chemistry these two have together and when a little surprise is thrown into the mix everything changes for both Vicky and Kenny. This is a sort of second chance love story filled with humor, crazy fun banter, drama, and a great ending. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This is Vicky and Kenny's love story she's been burned by a former fiance that cheated on her for years, then broke up with her just before her wedding, he's the brother of someone she once dated and he's not looking for a relationship either.

I would recommend this book for mature readers (sexual content and situations) that enjoy reading stories that are laugh out loud funny, steamy, and romantic.

fun story. These two have a history and wind up in vegas for friends/family weddings but they end up being the ones married. They agree to give it a chance and remain married for a short time In this time can they admit that they really have feelings for each other and can she get over her "depression". This was an easy read and a good HEA

A little hard to get into it 1st but when I got into it, it was wonderful

When I 1st tried to read it either I was not feeling well or something, It seems rather slow and draggy to me. But about the time I got to the 5th or 6th chapter I enjoyed it was beginning to come together. It seemed like the characters all were inner twinned together. I almost had to do a flow chart so I know who was who. The plot was predictible yet funny.

Hilarious emotional interesting

What a great series to read. I found this second book so emotional and hilarious. Vicky and Kenny ate great together. Both fix the broken heart of the other without even trying. Highly recommended to read
