Weisser's overview of approximately 2000 years of church history in such a small volume captures the overarching idea of tracking the oneness message through history very well. It seems his flavor is mostly the Post-Nicaean and Medieval history, as those portions are much more detailed than the other portions of the book; and rightly so, as Christendom spread into many branches at the time. His concise explanations and selective quoting (so as to cover the most important things concisely) is deep, but readable. Highly recommend as an overview of the Oneness message in history!
