If you wrote a love letter to your first love, what would you write? And would you want them to read it?

2073, Paris. Cece lies in a hospital bed. Her granddaughter, Élodie, reads aloud from a letter handwritten in Cece's old black notebook. It's a love letter she never finished writing...

2005, London. Sixteen-year-old Cece is relishing her new-found freedom as an exchange student. From the moment she meets D, she feels connected to him somehow. Deep down she knows she wants him in her life, but they only have three months to spend together before she has to return home to Brazil. Will their love survive the distance, time and change?

As the story goes back and forth between 2005 and 2073, Cece is taken back to memories she has always held dear, while Élodie discovers a part of her grandmother she never knew. It's time for Cece to write the last part of her love letter. But will D ever read it?

Incomplete is perfect for readers longing for a good mix of Love & Gelato, The Notebook and Anna and the French Kiss. Told in the form of a letter written in four parts by Cece in four different periods of her life, it is a story about finding your first love and a new life for yourself abroad and what happens when you are forced to part with both.

My heart is filled with both happy & sad tears after reading this. What a tear jerker this was! With a heavy heart, I'm gonna write this.

Paris in 2073, Cecè lies in a hospital bed, where she asks her granddaughter, to read her journal.
That rustic, vintage journal with yellow mustard colored pages, contains an incomplete, unfinished letter to Cecè's first love, D, back in 2005, in London.
The transition from back & forth between 2005-2073, gives such a nice clarity to Cecè & her life all around the world.

A love story that pans over 20 years.
A story where you finally find where you belong.
A story of how at just the age of 16, you feel like you've lived your entire life in just months.
A tale of how you need to break free from your comfort zone & be free to see the world on your own.
A tale of your first love, first heartbreak, first everything.
A story of how two people who love each other are forced apart due to ill timing & ridiculous miles/ kilometers in between them.
A story of how two fragile hearts in love, are broken because of earthly things.
A story of how eventually after all these years, you find your way back to each other, no matter what the situation, the circumstances or the timing is.

I loved the writing. Completely & Absolutely. Such beautifully done that I could feel the pain of Cecè.
It's true that love finds a way & overcomes all distance & time and what better way to tell the story if not in the most romantic places on earth, London and Paris.❤

Love can be immortalized in form of words, which I'm over the moon that it happened in this case, because hopeless romantics like me, we need to hang onto each & every word of it.

Incomplete is an achingly tender story about the enduring power of love.
I really enjoyed Cece and D’s love story and story goes back and forth between 2005 and 2073, but immediately hooks you in.
Lovers of The Notebook will enjoyed this.

I read this book over summer and fell in love with its relevance in my life. It’s a “right person not enough time” typed trope and eventually the love rekindles which is so exciting! The author has a few quotes throughout the book that i fell in love with and look back at quite frequently to remind me of the beauty in literature. Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone who is passionate about travel and enjoys seeing how a bumpy love story plays out.

The most perfect love story!

Cece has written letters to her first love, D since they met on her exchange year in London! Now, lying in her hospital bed, she is looking back on all of their time together.

What a beautiful book. I adored both characters, and thoroughly enjoyed hearing about their journey together. This book is a tear jerker I will tell you that!!!

This was a super nostalgic read to me, and I really related to the story! Everything from their first moments together in Paris, long distance romance etc - it really was brilliant and it reminded me of myself as a teenager.

I was lucky enough to read an ARC of this, and I urge anyone to give this book a read! So so so so good!

I’m in love with Cece and D’s love story. D is so nice to Cece, when they’re going to the top of the Eiffel Tower he held Cece hand and keep saying “look at me” because he saw how scared Cece is, she has a fear of heights. I love Camilla, she’s so active and she can stop the awkwardness in the table. She’s also funny. I would love to have a sister like her. Mel, I need a friend like her. She’s so lovely. She’s going to do everything until you feel better especially if everything is falling apart.

D and Cece’s relationship doesn’t last long when Cece go back to Brazil. They can’t take long distance relationship so they broke up. After 20 years they met again but Cece was married to a cheater but also want a divorce. When they met they want to get back together but Cece has a mess life. She doesn’t want to get back to him while her life is miserable, she want to fix herself first. So all she did was to let go D until she already regret it and followed D. Everything was okay now. They’re together again get married and have a happy family.

Thank you so much Allane for giving me a chance to read D and Cece’s love story. You make a great job building this book. I’m looking forward to your next novel.

Cece, whilst lying in her hospital bed asked her granddaughter, Elodie, to read her unfinished letters to her first true love. The love letters span over many years starting from when Cece was a young, 16 year old Brazilian exchange student studying in England. Whilst in England, Cece fell head over heels for D - and the feeling was very much reciprocated. But their time together was cut short due to her impending return home to continue on with her studies. Will their love survive the long distance? And how will Cece’s love letter finish?

This was my first ARC read, and what an absolute pleasure it has been. I have loved every minute. I have felt so invested in Cece and D’s romance and was desperate to find out what happened in their lives as they grew up apart. This book really does remind me that ‘everything will be ok in the end, and if it’s not ok, it’s not the end’. True love really does not die.
Make sure you pre-order this book, or order once it is out on 7th May. It’s such an easy, lovely book to sink in to.

Do you remember your first love? Or the first time you saw them?

Cece met D for the first time when she came to London as a foreign exchange student from Brazil. Even though they were a couple of teenagers then, they just knew.
What started as a teen, puppy love with long distance problems reformed into something so real, raw and beautiful.

Incomplete is written in the form of letters which Cece has written in her little black notebook.
The story starts in the year 2073. Cece is admitted in a hospital where she asks her granddaughter Élodie to read the letters to her.

The last ten chapters of the book made my heart so full and happy. The writing style was so captivating!
I enjoyed reading about the adult Cece and D more than their teenage selves.
The author has effectively potrayed the reality behind every relationship and how sometimes we have to make some difficult choices for the sake of our loved ones.

I am so glad I got to read Cece and D's story. Recommended to all the young lovers, old lovers and to those who are a sucker for romance!

This was a great book to get out of a slump! I loved this book, it’s a cute contemporary romance that fills the heart with emotion and love.
The writing is amazing! I could spend hours reading the book and I felt like I was inside of the story. I could feel everything that the author wrote, every smile, every tear, everything.
It’s so amazing to remember how love felt when I was younger and what I expect for when I am older.
This book makes me remember P.S.I love you but in a different way. It’s amazing how life is so short but you can leave your mark, you can leave all the love. Art is a feeling you leave here, it’s your mark. With this book I felt a hug with every single word. Whether your art is hugging, painting, writing, singing or even your energy it leaves a mark. You always leave a mark. Remember that hearts have many marks from the people you have met. They are art. You always keep a memory of everyone.

It’s 2073 in Paris, and CeCe is in the hospital. Her granddaughter reads aloud her unfinished love letter she started writing in 2005. CeCe studied abroad in London, and met D the absolute love of her life at the age of 16. CeCe lives in Brazil, D lives in London, but will their love last the distance? Will D ever get a chance to read her letters?!

This book is sweet! I was lucky enough to receive an ARC from the author herself! This book is written in the style of CeCe’s notebook and letters. The chapters were super short, which made it a quick read! This book has a lot of tender moments, sweeping romance, and a happy ending (of course)! I really enjoyed their adult stories compared to their teenage years, and wished we had gotten to read a little bit more in that side of their story. Would recommend for romance readers, this one was giving me all the nostalgic feels!

"My love,
Our love taught me that first loves can endure a lifetime. It made me realise that it doesn't matter how much the world is against it and how much time passes; the odds do exist. The courage to take chances and be together is reason enough to believe that living this life is worth it. And I'm the happiest woman to be able to spend the rest of mine with you."

I can't express how much I loved this book. I won this book in a giveaway from the author itself and it made my heart jump when I got it in mail with the black pen engraved with heart.
But reading this story is enough to tell how much feeling it holds in less than 300 pages.
Its my first romantic novel which I'll hold it close to my heart forever. Till now I haven't had many books that would be favourite to which I can proudly recommend. But this one will surely be highly recommended to all romance lovers out there who believes in true love❤.

I received a digital ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed getting to know Cece and D as they felt like real people to me, each with strong points and flaws. The setting was amazing to me as I have never traveled to England or France and I got to visit London and Paris while reading. If you enjoy friendship, romance, and family drama, this book will be one to pick up.

Incomplete is a beautiful story which follows Cece, a Brazilian exchange student living in London, and the tale of her first love with D. The writing style is so intriguing as it begins in the year 2073, when Cece is admitted to hospital. Whilst in hospital, her grandaughter begins to read Cece’s notebook to her, which is an unfinished letter from Cece addressed to D.

Throughout the book, I was so invested in Cece and D’s relationship and found myself saying ‘just one more chapter’ all the time. The last part of the book was so heartwarming and I felt content with the ending! I enjoyed every part of this book and it made me feel so many emotions!!

My copy of the e-book was kindly gifted to me by the author, Allane Milliane. However this review is completely truthful and I would recommend this book to anyone who likes young adult / romance books, or just in the mood for a feel good and heartwarming story.

A light, fun, and enchanting book. No spoiler, but I think one of the things that most captivated me in the book Incomplete was that it reminded me of moments that touched my heart. And I'm sure the book will touch yours too. Life follows its course, and perhaps not all happen when and how we want, but we never know the surprises to come. I totally recommend this amazing, lovely book!

I absolutely loved this book. The writing is on point. It forces you to read the next line and captures your attention so very well.
The plot oh my god! I was sobbing, cursing and laughing at the same time. It was such a Rollercoaster read😭
Cece and D's gives hope to people that I can find love and at the end of a storm there sure is a rainbow.
Also you amazing writer you kept D's name hidden from us till the very end. I mean I did kind of spoiled myself by looking at the last page but I'm amazed. I can't wait to read your next book 😭😭

Review: I devoured this book within a few hours. It was so beautiful and so heart-warming. I couldn’t put it down, I needed to know how Cece and D’s love story ended. Allane was able to capture the ups and downs of a love story so captivatingly and authentically. Though I couldn’t relate to their love story, it made me believe that true love does exist and that it’s never too late! This book had me sobbing by the end. It reminded me of the love my grandparents shared and it had me reaching for the tissues many times. If you loved The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks I believe you would thoroughly enjoy this! Congratulations Allane for a wonderful, loving and heart-breaking first novel!

Incomplete, by Allane Milliane, is a standalone novel.

It has been several years since I read this book, so I do not remember it perfectly. From what I remember, this is the story of a whirlwind teen romance, ending when the narrator returns home from her study abroad trip, and their miraculous reunion as adults. Personally, I found the storyline unrealistic, and I found the writing distractingly clunky. I'm sure there are people who enjoyed this book much more than I did, but it wasn't a great match for me.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I actually want to give this book 3.5 stars.
It’s a very sweet story and perfect when you just want to read a cheesy romance.
I didn’t like that there was so much sex. I also didn’t love that I didn’t get to know the characters before they fell in love, but that was made better by the fact that I got to know them a bit better throughout the story.

“I’ve always been incomplete without you.” - Allane Milliane

This is a book which I think is dedicated to the hopeless romantics out there. Which is seriously what I am.

The story of Cece and D. Is so sweet and showcases what love at first sight is like, and love at such a naive age as well when it feels like it’s you and them against the world.

She as a character felt very relatable and was a literal teenager for half of the book and her emotions and thoughts and everything were portrayed as such through a letter format to D. Which I think was the cutest way to do it, and I’ve never read a book like that! Something within a letter format which was very cool to do.

I feel like the love between Cece and D. Though it was quick did develop and did show what happens with long distance relationships and almost what happens when the real world gets in the way of what’s meant to be. Especially with Ceces own problems with her family and even her own career prospects which I think a lot of teens relate to when they are given two options; what they want to be or what their parents want them to be. Cece is the embodiment of what we should do, which is want we want to do.

Incomplete is a story for those who want to read a heart warming story that makes you feel loved and lost but overall full of what life should be about.

I want to thank Allane for sending me an advance copy of this book and for selling this beautiful book to the world!

Incomplete follows the love story of CeCe and D. Told through a loveletter written by CeCe starting in 2005 and spanning nearly 70 years, the reader explores their first lives, long distance relationship and what happens when the distance becomes too much.
I thoroughly enjoyed Incomplete, it was so lovely to see how CeCe and D’s relationship evolved over time. It made me very nostalgic of first loves and I became totally invested in how their relationship would pan.
Very well written, I raced through this one and was sad to see it end. Would recommend to everyone!

This is a beautiful story about love, friendship and about time.
Just wonderful!
