Blue Jay was that pure soul that had yet to experience anything real. She had everything except true love. She wasn’t easily persuaded nor was she easy to love, so her heart was broken a time or two. Perhaps all she needed was a King to mend it. Ryan King was a man that held so much power and respect that even love seemed to fear him. He was a hopeless romantic that couldn’t get this love thing right for the life of him. His past brought problems, but his future came with a solution. Ryheem “Prince” King followed in his brother footsteps. The state of New York was his and he ran it with an iron fist. He had jokes for days but his family wasn’t something he played about. Two calm storms still bring heavy rain. Will they survive it, or will they let their shot at love be washed away?
I was more interested in the street side of the love story, which is not the usual for me. I didn’t feel a connection/chemistry with ANY of the couples. Especially jay and king, it was like they went from meeting in the club to not talking for 2 months to all of a sudden talking and in a relationship. No dates no convo, I absolutely know nothing about Jay at all. The author tried to make jay too perfect all the way down to being 30 and a virgin. She didn’t do no wrong, she whined and cried all the dang time and she seemed to have a bad attitude, but it wasn’t something that was really talked about. The part where Krys called dude phone and a female picked up was soooo dramatic, he walked in the house almost as soon as she hung up but she still broke down in the middle of the floor crying? For what? Obviously he couldn’t have been cheating unless it was in the driveway of y’all’s house. And just like that it was over, I’m like they could have kept this part out. Then everybody pregnant at the same time how convenient. And why are krys and prince hiding their marriage? Also I think it’s soooo weird for females to call their significant others “daddy” and at the the end jay wore it out. Overall nothing too much happened in this story, and like I said i didn’t feel any genuine connection for the couples. It was like they were trying too hard to make us believe they belonged together, if that makes sense. I can’t really explain it. It was an ok read 3 stars because it was barely any errors, other than that it would have been more like 2 1/2 stars. I will read something else by this author though.
Ryan and Jay meet at a club and sparks fly. But can they wade through the drama of trying to be together?
I like the premise of the book. And I'm not usually one for multiple viewpoints but I think it turned out okay here. At first it threw me off, and everyone having a nickname didn't make it better, but I caught the groove after a while, lol. Three couples, in different stages--one falling in love, one finding each other again, and one basking in their renewed love. I like that concept. Though they didn't all get equal time in the book, so King and Jay were definitely supposed to be the focus. I will say that parts of it were too dramatic for me and some of the language choices were iffy for me. But I liked the love story aspect of it. His ex being that vengeful felt like a lot but it was a ride. I was surprised by some of the things that happened for sure. Solid read.
This book was fire from the beginning to the end. I’m glad that King was able to have a relationship with Jay they were a great couple I was hurt when they both got shot because I really thought that they both died and so did the baby. But I’m glad that they both survive and she ended up having twins and was able to give him another set of twins. I was also happy that everyone had gotten married. I loved how they stuck together. I was happy that they got rid of Ma’Lani and Black because they both got on my nerves. I can’t wait to see what you have coming next
I love these couples I couldn’t believe their mom was so dirty holding secret with the devil Malian Jay told her not to duck with her Malian had to learn the hard way I like how Prince and keys secret marriage came out and Krystal crazy ass pulling out pen and paper to write Jay Vows because Bean was going to need something to tell Fade phenomenal book I want more
I so loved this! Connie store the mess outta this book. I was so happy Jay gave King a chance. Their love was so special! Krys and Bean had me cracking up, I loved the girl's relationship. True friendship at its best! The love between the other couples were real and special also. The guys mother was on some foul s&%# she was really messing with his ex like it was cool. All in all this was a great book! Connie Easton has a fan for as long as she's writing!!!
I’m starting to love everything that Connie writes. I love me some of the King family. Jay didn’t play about her man King she let him know from the door she didn’t play. I felt bad for Lani and couldn’t let go. I love Krys and Prince as well he didn’t play about his wife as well. Fade and Bean were funny, fade didn’t play about Bean either he punched females for her and didn’t care. Great book. Can’t wait to see what she write next.
I recently just rediscovered Ms. Connie Easton and reread the Your Worth Loving series and she has quickly became one of my go to authors. I loved reading about all the couples and seeing the amazing love between them!!! Ma’Lani was just a nut job and met her end by being stupid. Jay and King were absolutely made for each and I admired how they opened up to one another and made their love grow stronger. Great read
I just couldn't give this book a 4 or a 5 it was all over the place please please do not ever change the name of the character in the middle of the book ever again!!!! How she go from Jay to Blue I get what up were trying to do but it wasn't necessary . This book had way too many characters unnecessary scenes and situations
I love stories where families connect. I enjoyed the story overall. There really wasn’t much as far a character development and back story but it was very entertaining. I was slightly confused about the mens relationship mother but I’m assuming there’s another story before this.
This book was so good. It shows how people had to mature to be in a relationship and didnt want to hurt that person. Also it shows you can be in a relationship and don't really know the other person. It shows how blood can be and from the person you think won't hurt you. Everyone needs to grab this book. Connie keep doing you!
The whole thing with their mom cheating and betrays King was overlooked. I mean I know he wasn’t talking to her. But she was also still hanging with a women who betrayed her son and she helped. Then was cheating on their dad. So don’t mention it just to have drama in the book and not follow through with addressing it.
This author is becoming one of my favs. She is getting better and better. King whew was just that a King. Krys and Bean was true friends. This crew was everything and absolutely loved it. Great job
Another banger! I really enjoyed this from beginning to end. I couldn’t believe how deep into the scheme of things Mylani was. She was grimey as hell. I’m glad King dropped her like a bad habit. Overall great read!
First, the story was good. It allowed readers to catch up with characters from previous books. I was slightly annoyed by the constant reference to her forbidden fruit. Okay, we got it. Overall, it was a nice Urban romance.
Lani should of sought some help. The point I didn't understand was when she took some of his money why didn't she take enough to live off of. King is a good man. Jay found her a real one
I’m loving the crew. You’re worth loving brought me here…that’s where I feel in love with these characters. I just wished they could’ve found out how scandalous their mom really was…great read.
This was a good read with lots of drama and a strong storyline. I really enjoyed seeing characters from another book by the author cross over—it added an extra layer to the story. Definitely worth the read!

Great book I’m so happy that they all found love and happiness and it took me a minute but I finally realized that prince , king and monte was from the other book
Wow king was the man, but his mammy was nothing. Once a thot always a thot. I ant see how pops didn't know he had a thot in his bed. I'm glad they all got a happy ending
