Lena's parents had her mate chosen already. Going through the center was just a formality before moving into the mansion she'd spent half her life in.

The first time Remi saw Lena he decided she would be his. He'd been patient as he waited for her to mature and go on the Market. It didn't matter what her parents planned. Lena would belong to him, and he was going to show her what it meant to be Owned.

This is book 3 in the Omega Market series. This book contains themes some readers may find disturbing.

Wife and mother of four, my days have been reduced to begging for the littlest to sleep so I can have time to write my books. I'm blaming my reduced schedule on Cupcake.
Facebook is the best place to find me, or you can sign up for my newsletter here (https://leannryans.com) to keep up with current and upcoming projects as well as special promotions and such.

I grew up on Sci-fi and Fantasy books with some of my favorite authors being Anne McCaffery and Mercedes Lackey. In 2013 I discovered paranormal romance and delved into a whole new world. After reading Omegaverse stories from Addison Cain and Nora Ash, I had the idea for The Omega Prize and decided to take a shot at writing a book of my own. The beginning was rough, it took two months to write the first five chapters, but as my 2019 New Year’s resolution I said I was going to finish the story and committed to writing every day. It didn't take long for the book to begin telling itself, and from there I just kept going.

Most of my books are Omegaverse, but they span other genres like Sci-Fi, dystopian, and historical barbarians. There is even a small-town Enemies to Lovers Romance story in there. They main contain dark elements but I wouldn't call them dark romance since my alphas tend to be a little mushy in the center. I promise there's always a HEA.

This is one of the best Omegaverse series EVER!!!

I just love LR's alphas! Dominant, possesive but with a little sweet streak, and always giving their omega just what they need.

In Flawed, Lena has known for years who her mate is going to be. An alpha, Ivar, handpicked by her dad to get ahead at work, but he leaves her feeling cold and panicked about her future. Remi, has gotten ahead by cunning, smarts, and hard work. He saw Lena years earlier and decided she would be his no matter what Ivar thought. Slick, tricky Remi has an ace up his sleeve, and when everything falls into place he wins the grand prize....Lena.

Remi is a mature, dominate alpha who can't wait to show Lena who's the boss and how freeing being with a real alpha can be. Lena doesn't know what her future now holds but she's happy to take that leap because Ivar never made her feel the way Remi does. And of course Ivar and the others don't go away quietly.

This was hot! This was sweet. I loved seeing Remi and Lena come together and their relationship blossom. Definitely a great addition to this series.

Even though this is an ARC, I will always shoot you straight. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the third book set in Ms. Ryans' Omegaverse; it can be read as a standalone. Here, we get the sheltered Lena, promised by her ambitious father to his boss' son in exchange for lucrative promotions. Lena, unhappy with her father's choice, decides to make the best of it until his "best laid plans" are ruined by another Alpha's interest in her -- one she finds far more appealing.

If you're looking for an Omegaverse book with well-described sex scenes that isn't too harsh, you may enjoy this. Certainly, Remy is obsessed with his "prize" (he's been stalking her since she was 14, which, well, I'll leave it at that); he doesn't really harm her; and he seems to care at least to some degree that she's happy.

I have to be honest and say that I really didn't like this book, which is too bad because I enjoyed the other two. I couldn't stand Remy, and saw little difference between him and the equally controlling father. All the men in Lena's life saw her as a trophy: none of them asked her what she wanted; none of them were interested in getting to know her; none of them valued her for anything other than what she could do for them. Ms. Ryans tells us ad nauseam (this book is very repetitious) that Remy is different because he, uh, asks her what she wants for dinner, but I saw zero evidence of this. Indeed, he cares so little for her comfort and has such little desire to actually talk to her that he's just fine mauling a terrified virgin minutes after meeting her.

I've read enough Omegaverse to know that all this is supposed to be made palatable by heat and slick and hormones, but at a certain point, a reader has to be invested in a couple -- which means that we actually have to see them having a conversation or some sign that they care for each other beyond sex. Since I didn't, all I could do was feel sorry for an isolated and intellectually curious young woman who had wanted nothing more than to get out from under her father's thumb, experience life, and socialize. Instead, she basically just ends up where she started -- with a nearly interchangeable man (kudos to this review for pointing that out: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...). I saw no HEA, even if the author kept telling us that there was one.

2 1/2 stars. I usually like this author's books, but not this one. I do recommend the others. I suspect that the h in the next book will have more agency and, thus, be more to my taste. Note: The class hierarchy on this particular planet resembles Metropolis; I hope the author revisits this world again since it has a lot of storyline potential.

I love the other books in this series and LeeAnne Ryan’s’ other books.

I like the premise of the book - I thought the idea of having her father choose a mate to then be foiled by someone else is on the unique side and interesting.
But the execution left me dissatisfied.

First and foremost, I didn’t get why Lena liked Remi nor did I get a sense why Remi was so obsessed with her. I think this book fell victim to what a lot of romance books do - it equates physical attraction with love. Nearly all of their time together is spent in bed. Literally, the don’t leave their bedroom for the first while. There is no real dialogue that shows them getting to know one another or sharing.

I was also disappointed because there could have been an interesting arc for Lena, but really nothing happens. She is raised to be a submissive, obedient women. Her father is controlling and a bit cold. She doesn’t get to go to school or have friends. She is shown to be inquisitive about the different alien species but nothing comes of that. She starts exactly where she ends - except now she is mated to a controlling man instead of her father. Remi doesn’t really let her leave the house (that we know of) and she doesn’t get to see her mother for a year, until she gets pregnant and Remi realizes he cannot put it off.

Overall, there was not really anything to this story. Stuff happened and the characters seems to be happy in the end but neither of them change really. By the end, I was left with asking what was the point of this story?

Lastly, the fact that Remi was in his 30’s and she was like 14 when they first met and he made his plans to mate with her one day is truly creepy. I don’t necessarily hold that against the book but It isn’t my thing.

OK this is a OV book and it is #3 in the Omega Market series by Leann Ryans. I am sort of new to this author and I am also sort of new to whole Omegaverse sub-genre, so some stuff others who have read more of this type of book might have a different reaction to mine. I do know that I like OV books and I know that I like this particular author's take on this sub-genre. This particular story has as the main female character Lena and the main male character is Remi. This story starts when Lena has not matured yet, though it is known that she is an Omega. Lena's father is ambitious and has schemed to put a fix in on the usual Auction process so that his daughter would be bought only by the son of his boss. However unbeknownst to the scheming father Remi has had his eye on Lena for six years now and is determined that he will have her instead.
I was absorbed by the story and I was a little surprised that I was at the end. It was OK though as t was at a good point in the story and one could argue that they had a HEA. There is some spanking and the story was pretty steamy. I recommend it highly. I received an ARC copy and I am leaving an honest review.

Not really dark for an Omegaverse book..

This book is definitely darker than the first 2 books of the series. But it still is not that dark considering it’s marketed as an omegaverse book. Lena is the only child, and an omega, of a very ambitious man. He intends to use her to get ahead. He makes a deal with his boss that his alpha son, Ivar, can have Lena. Of course, as an omega, she must be placed on the Omega Market where other alphas can bid on her. Through some nefarious machinations, he manages to guarantee that her profile will not actually be made public, so Ivar will be the only bidder. Enter Alpha Remi, the fly in the ointment. He overhears Ivar boast about Lena being his when they are both teens. Like 14 and 16 yrs old. He decides that he’s going to bide his time and have Lena for himself.

There’s a bit of an “eewww” factor here. Lena is 14 when Remi first sees her. He is pushing 30. He is obsessing over her for 6 years. It just seemed so creepy to me. In addition, it didn’t appear that Remi wanted Lena because of some bond or “connection” he may have felt for her. He wants her because he can’t stand that prick Ivar. I have only had this happen precious few times, but I just couldn’t connect with the MMC, Remi. And because of that, I didn’t find their coupling very enjoyable. Sure, most alphas are arrogant jerky types, but he is even more so but without the charm or vulnerability of other leading men I have read in other books. He really kicked and scratched his way to the top but rather than find that commendable, it seemed more machiavellian than through hard work. He’s not that different from Lena’s own father using his daughter to get ahead. Sure, his feelings for her really develop but for 6 years, his obsession with her had nothing to do with unrequited love and everything to do with jacking up some other arrogant prick’s plans. His treatment of Lena seems more like a Dom/sub interaction, but without the two way agreement beforehand.

As a female lead, I found Lena confusing at times. She really dislikes her father and how he has treated both her and her mother their whole lives, yet when he does something abominable and Remi steps in and appears ready to give him the attitude adjustment of his life, Lena steps in to stop him because that’s her father. Seriously, if a man, I don’t give af if he were my father, treated me the way he treated Lena, I would absolutely unleash the hounds of hell on his ass.

Anyway, if you’re a fan of dark omegaverse stories, this book, and series, isn’t for you. Sure it was darker than the other two, but since they were a bit too sweet for a real meaty OV storyline, that ain’t saying much. There’s definitely more sex in this book than the other two, but nothing as graphic as, say, Lizzy Bequin’s Quarantine series.

Disappointed

This book was not what I was expecting, and I was rather disappointed. It felt like many of the other Omegaverse novels I have read. Ones with very dubious consent and no idea of what BDSM is. What made it worse was the book followed one of my favorite books of all time.

The writing was clean, the world building has promise. It reminds of a world similar to that of Lizzy Bequin’s Quarantine Omega series. The characters were very one note. I also could not get over Remi’s name. All I could think about was the rat from Ratatouille. The story had no real climax. Definitely a lot of sexy time.

This biggest reason I gave this 2 stars, was the lack of consent in this book. Remi is way too demanding, and when he asks stuff, he never is really asking. Lena is clearly uncomfortable with what is demanded of her, even if her biology is saying other wise. When Lena does say “No” he ignores her, and does things anyway. For characters I’m supposed to root for, it doesn’t help that their relationship isn’t entirely consensual. And for anyone thinking it is a Dom/Sub relationship, it is not. Those are consensually agreed upon by BOTH parties, not just one.

My other issue is the age gap. I’m the same age as Lena and I felt icky at thought of her being with a man 16 years her senior. It a power dynamic that feel manipulative and dangerous. I’m worried it could lead someone my age into getting into a similar relationship. Except they aren’t okay with everything. I honestly kinda wish the story had been about Ivar and Lena. Kinda have a Swan Princess like relationship.

If this is your first experience with this author, please read her other books. They are really great and well written, this one just isn’t great. If you liked this one, L.V. Lane has a very similar one called Omega Awakening that you could try.

This series is really enjoyable. I like that each of Ryans' series have different things going on, even though they are all Omegaverse books. It just shows how creative she is and how she works the tropes of the genre.

I like Lena. She's tried so hard to be a good girl her entire life. She's just never really been seen as an actual being to her father her entire life. He just wanted to use her, no matter what, and that's just not OK. She really is just a sweet person.

Remi is tricky and sneaky and sly, and frankly, I love that about him. He knows what he wants and he has no problem going out there to get it. I really admire that.

I can't wait for the next books in the series.

It was simply okay for me. It didn't develop the MCs as much as the second book did but it was interesting.

Overall I felt the story suffered from a insta vibe. I didn't particularly feel anything toward the hero Remi or the heroine Lena. No spark or emotional bond. Simply put, it felt as simple as reading about two people the author threw together out of circumstances and I never got any pay off from it as far as chemistry or relationship/character development. Wasn't a big fan of Remi's punishments either.

Might continue the series, who knows. Right now I'm not all that intrigued.

I really loved this 3rd book in this series. Owned by Leanne Ryans, is an omegaverse m/f romance with a futuristic sci-fi feel and look to it.
I really enjoyed the world-building that we have had in all of these books, and I could recognise several things that made me think of things from book 1 and book 2.
The characters had good development and the book was easy to read and easy flowing. I was caught from the start and I just couldn't put it down! :)

We meed Lena who is a human Omega with two Beta parents. Her father is quite the character and Lena spends most of her childhood and even as an adult quite oppressed by him, he's not a very nice man.

Remi is an Alpha, but he's not human, I didn't quite catch exactly what he's a mix of, but he's the mix of two warrior breeds and where he comes from it's normal for the Alphas, especially siblings (he had quite a few! haha) to form a pack of sorts and share an Omega, but his mother was Human so unlike some of his brothers, he didn't feel that being in a pack was right for him, he is too possessive. hehe.

Remi is a very good Alpha, he's strong and a hard worker. The first time he meets Lena she's just a child, but the knowledge that she is "his" and a need to protect her already and then take her as a mate when she grows into adulthood is strong even then.

But to get Lena, Remi has to get past the obstacles that is her father, the Omega Market, and another Alpha whom her father has decided to sell her to.

'Owned' is not a very dark Omegaverse book, and though we touch on triggering subjects in this series, it is a far fluffier book than for example book 1.
It was an enjoyable read and I highly recommend the other books from this author. :)

Owned is stand alone, but I do recommend starting with book 1! :)

5* from me! <3

This is a fascinating omegaverse romance that has a somewhat darkish undertone & it can be read as a standalone. I will admit that this book certainly kept my attention all the way until the end. The plot is interesting with some intriguing events that are well-described & has good world building. It is set in a futuristic world where the omegas have no choices & all decisions are made by the either the government and/or alphas.
It is about: a young female omega (Lena Krell) is definitely not too keen nor impressed with the alpha (Ivar Uton) whom her despicable father (Gavril) has picked for her, in the meanwhile a determined alpha (Remi Marle) is willing do anything to claimed & own her.
There is: aliens, omegas, alphas, omega markets/centers, drama, intrigue, suspense, action, deceit, devious plans, twists & turns, manipulations, obsession, decisions, determination, confrontations, confusion, attractions, protectiveness, surprises, some discipline, spankings, curiosity, abduction, violence, conflict, nesting, heat issues, bonding, steamy scenes, contentment, happiness & a really well-deserved, satisfying epilogue. There is also a short blurb about “Captured: Omega Market #4” concerning a young human female (Fledorina aka Flea) who made a brief appearance in this book.

Another solid sweeter OV story from Ryans, this one follows Lena, a young Omega being used by her father to further his career by promising her to his boss' Alpha son of roughly the same age. Another Alpha notices her at the same time, decides she's definitely his, and sets plans into motion to claim her from under all their noses when they try to skirt the Omega Market procedures when she comes of age.

TW/CW: implied abusive parent, stalking and spying on a minor, drugging, and kidnapping

Sort of in the middle of the first and second book of this series in terms of sweetness and darkness, we finally visit an Omega Center on an alien planet rather than Earth. And, y'all, there seem to be some really big issues with how these centers are run. If the Earth center hasn't convinced you that something is rotten in thy system, this one is worse in different ways. Where exactly are all of the profits from selling these Omegas going?

I've now read enough of Ryans' work to feel comfortable saying that characterization seems to be a weak point in her writing—though het OV is more an erotic horror genre than actual romance, so character personalities really aren't the thing being focused on, generic is fine there—because, once again, she wrote a pretty solid story, but I still couldn't tell you much of anything about the Alpha main, and even less about the Omega main.

I've started to think of her Omega characters more as the same Omega, but different things happened to her and her circumstances growing up differed. Her Omegas are Nice™. She has no real control over her life except very minor details. Her reluctance to being mated varies a bit from story to story, but in terms of actual personality, she's pretty blank. She likes to take care of others. She is Omega. 🤷‍♀️

Likewise, Ryans' Alphas—while they have some interesting alien character designs, but not too alien, and certainly never ugly or controversial in looks—tend to be pretty generic Alpha. He bossy. He like to spank if not immediately obeyed. He possessive/obsessive. He think Omega pretty cute when she angy. He always a bit of a Nightmare, but definitely the least awful of the bunch.

In this story, Which gets planted in the story but then never comes to bear fruit, another issue I've found with Ryans' storytelling. She likes to plant something that should be a Big Deal but then lets it wither. So, Remi definitely is a bit hard to warm up to, and he's devious as all get out. I had a pretty good chuckle at the chess game he was playing to get a couple moves ahead of Lena's father and his plans to tie her to his boss' son, though. The dude definitely knows how to play a long game and keep his focus.

Lena is cute, sweet, sheltered to the point that she's pretty much a prisoner in her home, and very insecure because of her father's treatment of both her and her mother. She's resigned to her fate and prepared to live an unhappy life with an Alpha she really doesn't like or respect, and that made me so sad for her. I wish she had started developing some interests to better illustrate her "blossoming" with Remi as she was feeling more safe. While Lena gets her HEA, I couldn't help but feel terrible for her mother and wonder if she could have a happier ending. Based on this universe, the woman couldn't have been more than 40 0r 42 at the end of the story, still plenty young to ditch the jerk and do way better for herself. Anywho.

Overall, this was a pretty enjoyable het OV read with a lot more sexy times in it than the other two, due to the fact that the main plot in this one is Remi's trying to drive Lena into her first heat and get her claimed so he can chill out a bit. There is some pretty predictable drama that comes up, but it's a minor blip in the road.

Real Rating: 3.5 stars

This series has been improving the more Ryans writes it, and I'm happy to read more of it. I'm looking forward to the next story which will feature Flea who had a brief appearance in this tale, because she might break the Generic Omega™ trend. She seems like a very colorful character, and I liked her subversive spirit.

“According to her father, women and children were to be seen, but not heard.”

Leann Ryans was the first author I read when it came to the omegaverse. She got me hooked and now I love to get my fix from her books.

I have been reading her “Hired” series, that is about a world where Omegas and Betas live freely, but Alphas are seen as a menace so are treated very poorly.
In this series “Omega Market” we have something more similar to the Omegaverse OG narrative, where Alphas are in charge and the Omegas are submissive.

Lena is an Omega, born to Beta parents (at least her father is a Beta. There is no mention of her mother being one, but I assume that’s what she was). Her father is a piece of crap that treats her like a valuable heirloom ready to be sold to help him get ahead in his climb to success.
So ever since she was 14, her father promised her to his boss son - Ivar.

Lena thought her fate was sealed.
She’s an Omega, and Omegas must present themselves to the market at age 20 to be auctioned. Despite that fact she knew her father and Ivar would find a way for her to be sent of to Ivar, so her father would gain favor in the company.

Luckily for her and unluckily for her father and Ivar, Remi, another Alpha that also worked at the company, knew about their deal and wasn’t about to let sweet Lena get away so easy.
You see Remi is a smart fox. He has worked hard throughout the years, has been making friends in all the right places and has a few tricks up his sleeve.
Remi has been patiently waiting for Lena to come of age (is that part a little creepy? Maybe. He decides she’s going to be his when she’s only 14 (she was already promised to Ivar), but never made a move on her. So to me no, but if bothers you, skip this one)… so when he hears what they’re planning to do, he sets a plan of his own to be the winner of the auction.

Lena and Remi and so cute and sweet together.
Remi is domineering and and alpha but he also treats her with so much care and is always attentive to her needs. Love it.

The book itself is good. There is a little angst, lots of smut and a little action as well.
Can’t wait to read the rest.

The writing and editing of the ARC version of the manuscript was clean, with no typos that I found and well constructed sentences. The world building was vivid, with this world entirely covered in city coming to life for me. However, the characterization was only okay, with the heroine being almost entirely passive throughout the whole novel. She never really grew or learned to be proactive and seize back her own agency at any point, which meant she was a disappointing protagonist to read about. The hero was hot and dominant, but I did not feel like this heroine was in any way his equal, which meant I did not really buy into their romance. This novel had a heat level of five chili peppers with some BDSM elements, which I did enjoy quite a bit. The plot and pacing were tight and exciting, and I read this novel in one sitting. There was low angst and high stakes in this romance, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel used the Captive Bride trope and a hint of the Daddy trope. The world building, plot, and pacing were all four stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship were three stars. I gave this novel a combined rating of three stars primarily because of the passivity of the heroine. This novel ended on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger ending, so that was a big plus. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy omegaverse romance with high stakes, vibrant world building, and domestic discipline elements. I look forward to reading the next book in this series, because I think the next heroine will be more to my taste. I plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this novel.

Short, sweet, and scorching..
Let me start by saying, this book is not my favorite of the series, but dang the sex is fire. That being said...Remi in the beginning didn't match the Remi we came to know. In the beginning, he came off rather pervy and it kinda skewed my opinion of him until almost the end of the book. Lena is just too good. She's the definition of the perfect Omega, but I wish we could've seen her become more assertive or vocal. It was a good, quick read, but I missed the author's more complex plot and characters.

The couple: Remi and Lena

Romance genre: omegaverse
Part of a series: Yes (Omega Market)
Length: 158 pages

Plot: Lena is a rare omega, which means she will be auctioned off when she is of age. Her dad has determined he will give her to his boss's son, who is an alpha. Omegas are supposed to be offered for auction, but Lena's dad, his boss, and the boss's son have bribed the omega center so that she won't ever be put up for general auction but they'll be able to go in and buy her back. Remi, also a partner in Oso (the boss) and the dad's business, has been planning on acquiring Lena as his own for years now, and the other guys are not smart or prepared enough to stop him. Once he has Lena in his home, what will happen to those who thought to control her?

Character development: Lena is a sweet omega who has resigned herself to mating an alpha she doesn't particularly like. She generally goes along with whatever her parents want, but Remi is a relief. He's incredibly sweet with her, if stern sometimes (which she likes, btw). He fell for her the first time he saw her, as an omega, and now that she is a woman, he's falling even harder. She gains a little confidence, but her dynamic means that she naturally relies on Remi without that being a huge problem. Remi becomes more of himself - protective, obsessive, and aggressive. He will take care of her at all cost. They were a perfect match; they filled a need in each other, to take care and be taken care of.

Would I read more from this author/in this series: Yes!

This is a phenomenal read! One of the great things about this author, and her Omegaverse books, is that they aren't super dark. This means they can be read and enjoyed by a wider audience. You get all the knotting, nesting, heat, and dominating you would expect, but not so much pain and torture. They aren't short on the emotional angst, though. The characters are very relatable and complex so it's easy to become invested in them, and the stories are beautiful written.

This story focuses on Lena and Remi. Remi is a partner in the company Lena's father works for. He's big, strong, dominating, sexy, and protective. She's been raised to be meek, but she has some spirit. Their chemistry is amazing and the way Remi cares for Lena melted my heart. I had a very hard time putting this one down, and I can't wait to get my hands on the next one.

So this one wasn't as dark as the others in this series. But I seriously LOVED how obsessed the Hero was. It was such a great read and I loved how you got a different view of another kind of alien and how the omega market works on different worlds. Remi was great for Lena and he ended up making her much happier then she would've been if her father had gotten his way. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Right off the bat the first and second chapter really told me everything I need to know about my characters: that Lena is very submissive as being an Omega, her father has a heavy hand, and she fears him, and that Ivar thinks one day he will get to have Lena for himself. When they walk by Remi and he talks about having the urge to protect and watch her let me know that he is going to be a force to reckoned with when it comes time.
Lena just seems so sweet and like she could be the best friend ever! I was hoping she would knee Ivar in the testicles or something like that, but it was still great to see Remi save her. Make that jerk apologize to her.
I liked the plan that Remi had put in place to ensure that he was going to win the bid for Lena. Then when he was supposed to go pick her up because he did win the bid and her father and Ivar were there, oh man I totally thought there was going to be a beat down between the alphas.
Yessssss, Remi taking control is exactly what I want to see. Love my alphas when they get all growly or in this case purr (yumm) and give orders. I just want to appreciate the number of times that I had to stop and fan myself. The buildup between the two is just brilliant. Oh yes, not to mention the threats of how to punish her for not obeying, phew is it hot in here or is it just me lol.
The ending had me gripping my tablet with suspense. It was great, I was worried you know, with everything that Ivar had planned. Thankfully though Remi got there in time. I was surprised that he listened to Lena’s request for her father, I would have expected her to have chosen a different path.
While this book is in a series, I honestly did not read the first two books. Thankfully, I did not feel like I was missing too much but will definitely be going back to read the other two as well, looking forward to reading the next one. I liked Flea’s character and was hoping when she was introduced early that she would be the next book!

Owned is the 3rd standalone novel in the Omega Market Series. We meet Lena as a teenage girl just starting to experience her omega characteristics. A very sheltered girl with a father willing to use his daughter to better himself in his career. Lena won't be old enough to enter the omega market for 6 years but her father introduces her to his bosses alpha son at a work function. Only a few years older than Lena, Ivar immediately sets his cap for Lena. Both of the young teens are heavily controlled by their fathers. Meanwhile, Remi, an ambitious young employee at the same organization quickly figures out why Lena's dad is using his daughter to further his career. Knowing that the young Lena is an omega, Remi decides to bide his time, watch over the young omega to keep her safe until she's of age. As the years go by, Remi watches as the 2 fathers take steps to ensure Ivar gets his omega as the young omega herself comes to realize a life with Ivar would not be what she'd been dreaming of. Great characters, a unique world, Leann Ryans has an exceptional story telling ability! I love how she sets a tone and builds her characters, leading them down paths not expected. Another great addition to her series. I loved it!

I rec'd this as an ARC and offer my own personal opinion.

That was seeeeexy 🙈😈😈😏

Ok..Usually, I avoid reading omega related books because as much as I like steamy stories I want my women sassy and strong. And with omega books, sometimes that's not the case.

BUT.. this was a really nice story. Remi, our alpha male is a very protective man and will do everything to save Lena from the jerk that her father decided to mate her with. Remi will prove himself smart, strong and when no one expects it he makes Lena his.

" You're mine. I own you. "

He shows Lena how things will be between them. That she has to surrender herself and obey him.

..."Tell me. Tell me to fuck you."
..."Fuck me, Remi. Make me yours."

Lena on the other hand will feel loved, cherised and protected. Protected from that mean man that her father wanted to send her to but she totally disliked. Surely not everything is perfect but she and Remi are finding out how their relationship works as time goes on. Yes the sex is scorching hot..I mean come on..an alpha with an omega? 🤤🤤😈
It's definitely not safe to read this outside your home.. 🙈
Consider yourselves warned 😈

Overall I enjoyed this and I was positively surprised. I am sooo happy when this happens! 😁😁😏

I was very excited to be able to get a copy of this ARC as I am a huge fan of Leann Ryans and have been looking forward to Owned since it was announced. The plot itself is deceptively simple but well handled and felt fresh. After reading a lot of overly involved plots recently I really enjoyed how straightforward the story was. There was a real fairytale vibe that I liked and is a hallmark of all Ryans' work. She makes us believe that these two are *meant* for each other without the "fated mates" trope.
Both Lena and Remi kept my interest and I liked how their relationship progressed... and the heat! Absolutely perfect for *them*. This is one of my gripes with a lot of omegaverse--where the heat and the characters don't match. But Ryans always nails it.
The only reason I didn't give this five stars is I am still a little disappointed by this particular omegaverse world. I get it what Ryans is aiming for but the tension never quite hits for me the way it does in her The Hired For series, which I adore.

After DNFing the first book, I thought I was done with the series, but in reading the reviews, I realized I just needed to find my kink. Fucking another woman in front of the woman you love wasn't my thing. Possessive crafty alpha male who only wants her and does whatever he can to take what he wants, that was definitely more my thing. I know people say the grooming is problematic and if it happened in this universe, I'd agree, but the world this is built in, grooming a girl to take care of her is one of the less problematic things. This wasn't as good as I was hoping though, I'm really unsure what was considered dub-cøn to some people, and there definitely is no non-con. It's a short book, so I know there can only be so much character development, but you have to give us at least a few sentences that help us grasp a reasoning for why things changed. Also, was VERY disappointed the dad not only survived, but received no punishment and in fact was rewarded. That was just a really poor writing decision in my mind, made it feel like the bad guy won in the end.

I was sent a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Lena is "coming of age" as an omega and her father and lifelong "friend" Ivar have made a "deal" that she will never go to the omega auction. Instead Lena's father and Ivar's father have come to an arrangement to hide Lena's details from the Collection Center and on auction day Ivar will arrive to claim the omega he has bidden on and "won". But he doesn't realize one of the Big Wigs at the top has also seen Lena and has decided no matter what - she will be his. So sets the scene for a darn good story. Will Remi win Lena? What will Ivar and her father do? How does Lena feel about Remi? Will she submit to him? And the fact that he lives most of the time in an underground den - ????
Ms Ryans always gives us a great story and I have her on the top of my favorite author's list.
Highly recommend this book - in fact any book with her name on it is worth reading.

Every time I think I got a handle of what's going to happen next in a series from this author, she switches it up and throws in new surprises I wasn't expecting or thought I wanted. The biggest one in this story was definitely Remi. Lena never saw him coming at all and it was all wonderfully done. Leann Ryans definitely didn't pull any punches in this one. The only downside is that now I really want to know more about his species and hope that she'll give us more of them! LOL. Enjoyed every second of it. Loved all the new characters and the nice surprise of another character from another book which was whom I thought this book was going to be about! Another great addition to the series and the genre!

I really enjoy omegaverse books, they always seems to tickle my fancy. However I do like my books to have some semblance of a plot, this read too much like straight erotica. Not to say that there is anything wrong with that, just needed my expectations to be set accordingly. There's not much plot and the book is dominated by erotic scenes. Combining heavy fantasy elements with a domineering hero and submissive heroine that never evolve or grow, this book ended up being more derivative than expected. All in all, it's fine for what it is but just keep in mind if why you are reading this. Not for the plot, not for the character but rather for the steamy sex scenes.

I may be in the minority here, but I like a good little Omega story where they actually don't hate each other for a majority of the book. The Omega is strong in her own right but not nasty and the Alpha is protective, but loving of his Omega. This story fit me to a tee. We got a good look at their relationship, the bad guys and how they made it to their HEA. Very satisfying all around. I'm looking forward to Flea.

When Remi sees Lena for the first time he is determined she will be his, but her parents have other ideas for her - her father hopes selling her to his boss' son will further his career. Lena accepts her fate with trepidation; as he's grown she found much to dislike in Ivar and when Remi intervenes she is confused about her feelings.
Exciting and sexy, Remi shows Lena what it is to be owned in the fourth tale in this series. I haven't read any others in this series (although I have read quite a few of Ryans' work) and it doesn't spoil this one if you haven't. Well worth reading.

She thought she knew who would be her alpha...

This was an awesome book. As always Leann has written another wonderful alpha/omega story. It’s hard to hate your family no matter what they do. Lena and Remi seemed to be made for each other. I liked the multiple species in this new omegaverse. The book has alpha and omega romance, bad guys and some adventure. There is a some spanking, if this a trigger for you don’t need to read this book. For all of us Leann Ryans fans I would recommend this book whole heartedly.
