June 18, 2022the fact that the publication for this one is 'on hold indefinitely' is tragic personally. for someone with no interest in this genre i sure am invested in this story, so this development? tragic. but i'm shelving it because if it ever gets published i have every intention of reading it.

February 28, 2023Thee are the characters at the end of Broderick book. I’m putting it here because it all happens before Cohens book so contains no spoiler. It does contain spoilers for Abel & Broderick books. Characters:
Abel (tall & muscular, economic fighter, harsh, resilient but cold with a hot fire underneath , Eli (Leader of Raiders, rangy but strong, glasses, strategic thinker, brains), Harlow (Eli wife, light red hair, moral center) Eli & Abel were best friends until Eli helped dad kill Abel dad. Eli dad set fire to compound, killed 40. Eli didn’t know until too late.
Broderick, Monroe (heir/queen of Amazons), Shiloh (amazon & Raider). Monroe now queen of Amazon after learning of queen hypocrisy toward Shiloh abusive parents & attempts to kill Shiloh to cover it up. Monroe forced queen to abdicate. Now Broderick Shiloh & Monroe all live with Amazon, support Monroe rule.
Cohen (described as Monster who does Abel' dirty work, cold & deadly, insomniac who obsessive about patrol at night) Maddox (blond Raider, Cohens second) and Winry (amazon younger sister, Monroe super protective, supposedly sweet and soft). Cohen only has 2 close lovers : Samson (died in coup fire) & Maddox. He’s letting Maddox deal with Winry.
Donovan - (follows "whim & humor", probably take over household org from Broderick) Mabel (mystic) Sonya (Mystic, Mabels bodyguard? who come voluntarily)
Ezekiel (was "sweet kid" until betrayal of coup, now Monster and cold) Jasper (nephew to Amazon Queen) and Beatrix (mystic, not a Bride but Jasper wife) The three were inseparable before coup. In Brod book, has had them tied to the bed for 3 weeks, and they seem to have bruises and Ezekiel says "they're paying penance."
Finnegan, Iris (raider, were couple before Brides) Matteo (mystic)
Gabriel (youngest son, may be sneaking out) Fallon (mystic, described as Feral)
Rae - surgeon who Harlow calls after Eli shot. Offered position in compound

Malone head of area of carver city. Aurora partner. sister to Amazon queen, Malone’s aunt
Alaric, cousin to brothers ursula & Zuri partner

May 18, 2021Imagine just chilling in Sabine Valley when you find out the 7 brothers are back. And that they all end up in triad relationships. And they got together in order of when they were born like some weird paint-by-numbers relationship advice column.
Must be wild.

July 4, 2023Adding this to the eant to read, hoping that the series continues. I've read 10 or so books books out of all her current series and the hugely popular vampire queen, but I have to say this series hooked me more. I really hope she comes back to it.
