Absolutely amazing book! So much hard core dominant romance! Raffaele is a super hot kinky dominant man with everything to go with it big ego, sexy looks, hard-core work outs! Asimina fun loving hot looking and impulsive girl with alot going for her also!

I won a copy of this book in a competition I entered and I have simply LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT!!
This book is so exceptionally well written and has some of the most memorably explicit and explosive sex scenes I have ever read! The writer has a great imagination and understanding of how to reel a reader in.
I found myself immediately drawn to the captivating dialogue between Raffaele and the very saucy stunner known as Asimina. Only a Goddess like her can possibly tame such a beastly creature!
There was just the right amount of playful banter between the characters to be believable without being nauseatingly irritating.
Shamelessly sexy! Leather straps and animalistic savagery galore! They OWN each other and how! Page 157 will knock your socks off!
I strongly respected and admired the manner in which the Author portrayed Asimina Alexiou. This is a woman who is independent, strong, passionate and FEARLESS. She is not a victim and even though there are graphic rape scenes and violence in this novel Asimina refuses to be defined as a helpless victim.
We are exposed to her femininity through her vulnerability and her strength.
I was completely able to surrender to the pure JOY in reading this book and if you love Mafia style stories and have a love of Alpha men and women you too will simply love this wild and juicy journey the Author takes you on.

As this is the first book I have read by this author I was not sure what to expect as you just never know when trying a "new to you" author. But once I completed the read I was quite satisfied about my selection.
Unlike most mafia romances the characters were developed amazingly!
I have read a many books related to Mafia and Crime but this book is one of the best that too with a female lead who possess the courage to fight back.
The book won’t fail to thrill its readers. Character development was done beautifully and I really liked the character of Asimina, she was portrayed as a brave woman.
Being a book of 409 pages I was completely into it as it was such an interesting one.
If you are lover of action, drama, emotions, erotic scenes, romance and family. This is a must one. Go for it!

The book has been written in a very simple manner so that everyone can understand it and does not require any special aid.
The satisfaction you get after the final completion of the story is just incredible, sometimes you are really happy with the ending and sometimes you feel it could have been better but when you will complete this your heart is just satisfied.

If read with an open mind , exploring beautiful themes of family, fighting our demons within , of strength , of ITS OKAY TO MAKE MISTAKES, and a whole of fantasy trip with our favourite couple and many love sub plots this is my favourite read , anyday , it engrosses the reader to an extent it has the power to mend you ( I was mended) .

This book keeps you on the edge of your seats. Full of laughs, tears and action. The storyline is amazing and it really pulls you into a world where you are literally there in 3rd person.. Highly recommend this series.. ❤️❤️

Thrilling book. It always keeps you up on your toes. Asimina is such a badass character, she's a true fighter. Raffaele the very hot and dominating capo die capi. Overall the book is amazing and one of the first mafia books (which I've read) in which female main character not just plays victim and actually has the balls to fight back.

This is an amazing story, The story got me hooked the moment I started reading it. It has everything you want in a book, good humour, love, hope, happiness and it had me on the edge of my seat.
I am a hopeless romantic and the love between Asimina and Raffaele is evident.
Love that Asimina is strong will woman and she reminds me of myself. She love's her family and honour and loyalty is important. I love that no matter what happens she still fights and never give up.
Raffael what can I say I would love to have him as my Italian stallion. He is a true leader that his capos respect. I love that he honours family value but still kills, its amazing balance and this definitely something different.
Vaya thank you for writing this amazing story and I am so in love with these characters, I can't wait for book 2.
I would 100% recommend this book to anyone.

I loved this book! Unlike most mafia romances the characters were developed amazingly, Raffeale showed that he was more than just a capo dei capi trained to kill and Asimina strong willingness was amazing to read. Their story will forever have my heart since its been crafted so amazingly😭♥️

I love a book that can put you through so many emotions. The story is beautifully written. It definitely belongs in the collection I have started.

a TikTok recommendation
I really thought this had potential but the author completely lost me at stallion. If you know you know.
The plot was good, but the story seriously dragged. 491 pages, but by 125 I was done with the story. So much extra fluff that could have been taken out. I feel like there was three storylines going on at once and the story continues into a part 2?
I really like mafia romance but not enough to continue this series.
Would be interested in reading again if the author ever re did the story, but wouldn’t recommend as is.

hvilket er ærgerligt da Morelli serien er en af de serier jeg er særligt glad for.
Og som jeg har læst flere gange på Inkitt.
Yaya Thorn er en fremragende forfatter og hendes skrivestil fanger læseren fra første kapitel når man læser hendes bøger.

•Starting with the title of the book, I feel it's a pertinent one as it is an abstract topic. For a particularly insightful title I would rate the title 1/1. The cover then again is an exceptionally appealing one. I feel generally speaking external appearance of the book is truly interesting to the person who sees it interestingly. For the title and the cover, I might want to give it a 2/2.
•Believing in Fate by Vaya Thorn is the Book 1 of The Morelli Mafia Series. The story revolves around two main characters Asimina Alexiou, This is a woman who is independent, strong, passionate and fearless on the other hand Raffaele Dante Morelli, the crime boss of the biggest Mafia family across the State and Europe.
•Asimina finds herself in unwanted attention Later she lands herself in Raffaele's possession. I found myself immediately drawn to the captivating dialogue between Raffaele and Asimina. The bond both have with each other as well as their friends and family is what makes the book so good and makes me so invested.
•The story comes with a lot of Action, Romance, Drama, Laughs, Tears, Erotic scenes etc. It has everything in it which makes it a splendid read and it had me on the edge of my seat.
•So far I have read a few books related to Mafia and Crime but this book is one of the best that too with a female lead. I strongly respected and admired the manner in which the Author portrayed Asimina Alexiou.
•Characters are characterized well. The characters are unique , well developed, strong and impactful. The narration style is extremely smooth and convincing. The plot is very intriguing.
•The book has a good and unique storyline which has kept my interest throughout the duration of reading. The story is engaging and the readers can easily relate to the emotions.
•Truly engaging story that will grasp your attention and compel you to read the next book as well. Highly Recommended !!

Ok so this was my vacation read, I was supper busy during the day but at night I was so stuck in Asimina and Raffaele world! This book had me from the very first chapter!
The heroine Asimina she goes through some traumatic events and girl is a SAVAGE! Like she doesn’t take it and her inner self tells her to fight and boy does she ever! Hands down she is such a bad a**! She meets Raffaele at the perfect time, they are like instantly drawn to each other, but who wouldn’t be with a gun pointed at you 🤐🤐🤫🤫…
Raffaele is the Don, of the Morelli Mafia he has Demons and he’s a BEAST! He does everything in his power to protect his familia and the ones closest to him and Asimina becomes his everything. She gets him in ways he never thought anyone could!
They built trust and friendship. Asimina and Raffael go together so well and are straight 🥵🥵 and the steamy stuff is 🔥🔥
Omg the side characters and family complement this story so well everything is just perfect. I loved them all. I laughed, I got angry, I yelled at my book. This book just has so much suspense and angst like omg I was hooked! I so couldn’t wait to get home to finish this book off today.

I won this as part of a Goodreads giveaway. The plot itself is good despite the overall cliched feel and the extremely high number of unnecessary exclamation points.
The violence is over the top and contains so many triggers such as rape, kidnapping, miscarriages, and countless murders that the softhearted or traumatized might want to avoid it. I actually couldn't read the particularly violent scenes because some things I just don't want in my head ever.
A TON of profanity. The "f" word needs a vacation for at least a year after its numerous appearances in this book.
Just as real as the violence though is the extreme passion, graphic sex scenes, and sense of love and camaraderie among the Morelli family members.
The main character could be inspiring to some because she's a tough chick who takes no crap from anyone and is endearing despite her brashness.
To me, this book would have been even better with a good strong edit.
With all that said, I'm not opposed to reading the next book in the series.

I fell in Love with Asimina and Raffaele the moment these characters were introduced to me.
I love how vulnerable and Strong Asimina is. I see a lot of myself in her. Vaya really knows how to develop her Character. This book has laughter, Heartbreak, Action, and an Amazing Beautiful love story all wrap in an incredible book. The best part is that it's a series and it keeps you hooked for two more books.
I would recommend this book if you have never read Mafia Romance, let this be your first. It's a must-read. Reality and Fantasy are so perfectly put together that you want to be part of that life.

April 8, 2024This book has many pluses. What the author does very well is surprise ... you don't see it coming. She develops characters that feel real and sound real. The sex is beyond steamy, so if you're not comfortable with that, this book won't be for you. But Thorn has created two families, one Italian and one Greek, whose lives intertwine with romance and suspense. She can overindulge in repeating her characters' inner turmoil over and over and over again. I got to where I skimmed through a lot of that repetition because, honestly, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. She's that good at plot and surprise and honestly, you become engaged in the lives of the characters she has developed.

This was book one in the
"Morelli Mafia"
series. I really enjoy reading mafia reads but this book it was too much first it was too long. Asimina Alexiou is impulsive, brave, vibrant, and Independent but she has a stalker. She sought help from her cousin, a man that is nothing less than a brother. Turns out Petro has secrets of his own. Raffaele Dante Morelli is a crime boss the boss of bosses. I liked both of these characters until the end I didn't like Raffaele. This book had a lot going on in it. This book read like there was another story in it. I did think that the plot was good it just needs to focus on one story and to be shorter. This book did have some errors in it. I am not sure that I will be reading the next book.

It ended as a tearjerker. No mention of a to be continued. No website to see if there is another book. No ending but sadness. So of course if there is another book I will miss it. I will forget all about it. I read 186 books last year through kindle, free and I also purchase many of them. I read hardback books too. I usually wait until a series is complete to start reading it. Be warned. You will be left hanging

THIS BOOK IS EVERYTHING!! The story, the plot, the strong main leads and others characters are so good that blows my mind away. The intensity, emotions expression are so perfect. Everything in this book is good that The Morelli Mafia Series is my go to book series. I remember last December I was depressed and was rereading the whole series again I was hormonal after I finished these books again and I loved it. This book is so worth of time.

I had the privilege of reading this on Wattpad and it will always be my 👏🏻 hands down 👏🏻 favorite series of all time!
The character development is phenomenal with every single character and never lost me once. The plot/story line fit so perfectly and vaya’s writing is one in a million!
While it’s not currently available to read/purchase right now, you can bet I’m checking every day to see if it’s available to purchase again!
