I absolutely loved that these books assumed the reader had zero prior knowledge of computer networking. They even start with a definition of what computer networking is! Then the books move onto what hardware and software need and the pros and cons of different pieces of equipment. They even have a formula.to figure out how much cable you will need! Overall, I think this is a handy guide for someone looking to connect all their computers but really have no idea how to go about doing that
Yes just like you would do at a work function only this is between machines. The book is well written and easy to understand as it takes you thru the kinds of networks, the needed hardware, and all the wireless options. It is a book I recommend to anyone interested in having their own network and being able to keep it safe.
This is a great book for anyone looking into computers. It'll teach you all about networks, from the basics to the Super high tech stuff you wouldn't even consider. An easy to follow guide.
This book was so helpful. I am not computer savvy but need to better understand networking. I think this book explained any and every thing about networking imaginable. I loved that it also explained malware. Im eager to try my new skills.
Great at discussing different types of computer networks, how to use them, and what they do. Pretty user friendly for people unfamiliar with computer networking.
