A fun, graphic chapter book for the early elementary reader tackling the serious issue of plastic pollution. Who wouldn't want to belong to the "society for Super Scientists," especially when two of them are kids! The book contains a good explanation of the issue and science involved, along with a call to action and additional readings in the back matter.
A simple yet highly relevant book about a problem that has the potential to destroy our world and oceans--plastics and how we dispose of them. The graphic novel format should be appealing to children.
Used some encouragement to kids to looks at science and also reduce plastic use. Some good actionable and thoughtful ideas at the end. Overall, an interesting read.
