POPKULTUROWY KOCIOŁEK: Trzynasty tom Great Teacher Onizuka to moment małego oddechu po intensywnych wydarzeniach z poprzednich części. Akcja przenosi się na Okinawę. Mimo luźniejszego tonu autor nie rezygnuje z charakterystycznych elementów serii.

Fabuła mangi skupia tu mocniej na postaciach drugoplanowych. W centrum znajduje się między innymi relacja Yoshikawy i Uehary. Nie brakuje też Onizuki, który po raz kolejny wpływa na losy swoich uczniów.

Chociaż autor porusza się w bardziej stonowanym rytmie, scenariusz nadal zaskakuje pomysłowością. Motyw poszukiwania legendarnego skarbu to pretekst do serii zabawnych wydarzeń. Onizuka, jak zwykle, znajduje nietypowe sposoby na realizację własnych celów. W tej części chodzi jednak bardziej o relacje niż akcję.

Jednym z największych atutów tego tomu jest rozwój postaci. Noboru Yoshikawa, wcześniej prześladowany przez Anko i jej koleżanki, zyskuje nową siłę. Z kolei Anko Uehara przechodzi wewnętrzną przemianę, pokazując bardziej ludzkie oblicze.

Pozostali uczniowie również pojawiają się w tle, ale to ta dwójka gra pierwsze skrzypce. Onizuka pełni tu rolę katalizatora zmian, nie dominując jednak nad fabułą. Nawet Uchiyamada, będący zwykle obiektem kpin, ma swoje pięć minut.

W porównaniu z wcześniejszymi tomami humor jest mniej agresywny, ale nadal obecny. Główne źródło komedii to sytuacje związane z poszukiwaniem skarbu. Pretekst w postaci „badania smaku jaj żółwi” to klasyczny przykład absurdu w stylu GTO. Równie zabawne są losy Uchiyamady, który znów wpada w tarapaty.

Fujisawa umiejętnie łączy lekkość z satyrą społeczną. Nawet w komicznych momentach pojawiają się obserwacje dotyczące szkolnego życia i relacji międzyludzkich. Humor nie dominuje, lecz towarzyszy wydarzeniom, tworząc przyjemny kontrapunkt dla bardziej emocjonalnych scen....

Solo Onizuka riesce a tirar fuori il meglio dai suoi studenti

Le voyage à Okinawa se poursuit, avec toujours autant d'aventures et de dépaysement Ce tome se concentre sur le développement de la relation entre Yoshikawa et Uehara. Un vent de douceur continue de souffler sur nous, lecteurs et les gags pittoresques rajoutent dans la caresse du vent les échos de nos rires. Nous assistons également au dénouement des problèmes de Fuyutsuki avec sa classe, bien aidée, comme tant d'autres, par l'homme le plus légendaire du Shonan… Petite dédicace au pétage de plomb complet de Uchiyamada.

Un tome que j'ai globalement apprécié, bien que le voyage à Okinawa aurait pu être à mon sens mieux exploités dans les aventures et dans l'utilisation de l'île afin de développer plus de personnages. Néanmoins, au vu de l'intensité de l'arc précédent, cela peut se comprendre que l'auteur veuille mettre en avant une histoire plus calme. Court, cela nous permet de l'apprécier d'autant plus.

Wahaha... karena kemarin baru baca ulang Shonan Junai Gumi, pas baca ulang GTO 13 ini malah jadi teringat tampang culun Onizuka di SMA waktu menyamar jadi siswa baik-baik sok imut :)

Sebenarnya Onizuka keren, tapi sayang dibanding Danma kisah perburuan cintanya selalu berakhir mengenaskan, dan sampai jilid 13 GTO ini masih virgin. Bukannya tidak ada cewek cakep yang naksir setengah mati sih...

Read this series first back in adolescence, and as I go through the same books this present day I find how resonant some themes that the author touches upon remain. Surely at face value the series might come across as silly or over the top; but it is in fact deeply rooted in everyday themes, troubles, vulnerabilities, passions among other threads. A real depiction of human connection as a manga can get.
